Summary: Wonderful 1st book, this one started my journey
Review: A great book, easy to understand intro into Wicca, This book was the one that started me on my journey to the Goddess over 10 years ago. I am still learning to this day, and willing to share what I know with those with and OPEN mind. A very happy Wiccan and out of the *Broom Closet*.

For friends wanting the quickie version, give them the pamphlet version, a good read at $1.59 Blessed Be )O(

Summary: It teaches you a lot.
Review: In the very beginning of the book I thought that it was to boring and almost closed it; but for some reason I had the feeling that I should try it . You know "never judge a book by it's cover". So I tried it and I learned so much by just taking the time to read and study it.

Summary: A Magickal Beginning
Review: This is the book that brought me to Wiccan. It is a must for anyone begining weather in a coven or solitary. It gave me good insite about the practice of Wiccan, without confusing contradictions.

Summary: The only book for beginners
Review: The words of Scott Cunningham are the only words I'd trust to inform someone who was lacking information about Wicca. So many people stereotype witchcraft, and not many are dedicated to educating. Scott Cunningham has a way of explaining, and not misleading, the topic of Pagan religions. I only wish I could force every man, woman, and child to read this book and understand that we mean no harm. This book IS what witchcraft is today, and I want the entire world to know it.

Summary: This is an easy to read book.
Review: I have read this book, and I gave it to my sister. It is well written and easily read and understood. It is almost as if Scott Cunningham was reading my thoughts and helped me discover who I really am. He helped me to set my spirit free. His Guide for a Solitary Practioner is another must for anyone who wishes to learn. I encourage people who wish to follow the wiccan path to read Scott's books. They are wonderful. Bright Blessings to all who read this.

Summary: Inexpensive overview for concerned family-members
Review: Here is a simple overview of Wicca that is both readable and inexpensive. It's a great gift for concerned family members, your parish priest, or other people who care about you and need to know more about what you are into.

Summary: Very nice
Review: This book was the second I'd ever read on witchcraft, and Scott Cunningham did a wonderful job of explaining what witchcraft is, and what it is not. I've considered giving it to my parents to try to help explain to them what it is I believe. It's a good book for anyone interested in witchcraft who would like a summary of the basics.

Summary: A Great Introduction Into Modern Wicca
Review: Cunningham does a wonderful job of dispelling myths and putting the truth in the light where all can see. The perfect book to introduce anyone to the ways of Wicca.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The best explanation of Wicca & Witchcraft that I have read!
Review: I have just started to study Wicca and thought this book would be a great place to start. It is very informative and easy to read. Mr. Cunningham puts to rest the fears that people have - that it is NOT the way that Hollywood and mainstream religions would want them to believe. I will keep this around and use it for reference for family and friends!
