Summary: only for those who are not completely open minded
Review: This was my first book about witchcraft. I found it informative, but I wouldn't recommend the book to those who are completely open minded. I found the book a bit defensive at times. However, it would be a good book to give those who are skeptical about the religion.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: A great sage, the late Scott Cunningham was and still is. An exceedingly well written topic in the usual tradition of this great man. I tried the money spell in this book this one time when I needed some financial assistance and it worked immediately. It arranged situations within 2 weeks where I could have access to the amount that saved me from serious circumstances.Need I say more? Thank you Master Cunningham for sharing your powers with the rest of the Craft. Blessed Be.

Summary: Great!
Review: This is a great book. Every Witch and Wiccan should have at least one copy around the house to give to curious or misled people.

Summary: great book to give to the skeptical one
Review: this is great book to give to anyone that doesn't know the truth behind the craft. or someone that is just starting.

Summary: an ok book
Review: It was an ok book for people who want to learn about the craft. It was very detailed but confuesing if you don't read it more than once though.

Summary: This is a WONDERFUL book :)
Review: I've experienced a LOT of religious descrimination from simple minded people whose own religions are MUCH stranger than Wicca. This book explains in the plainest language possible the basics of Wicca. It's mostly designed for those who are non-practicioners, but I'm certain that all Wiccans will like it (I do).

Summary: Give this one to family friends.
Review: If you are Wiccan, this is nice, reasonably priced little book that is good to give to friends and family to help them to understand Wicca. It is priced low enough that you can give away several copies, without maxing out your credit card or draining your bank account.

Summary: Best Introductory Book in the Market
Review: I really enjoyed this book. Cunningham has a way of writing that makes you feel comfortable. He never talks down to his readers. He makes you feel right at home. This book was the first book that I ever bought about Wicca. I would definetly reccomend it to others who are curious about Wicca or witchcraft. who wanted to learn more about Wicca.

Summary: My first pagan book
Review: This was my very first book about witchcraft and when I read it I was both ecstatic and relieved to learn that there was a name to the beliefs I had and that I wasn't alone in my beliefs! I bought it solely out of curiosity--I was into astrology and other occult studies. Later I found out how barebones this book is, that witchcraft and paganism are so varied, but I am eternally grateful to the late author for having introduced this religion to me.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A guide for learning the truth about the Craft.
Review: Scott Cunningham is at his best in this wonderful work. Clear and informative, this book tells the basic facts about Wicca, what it is and what it isn't, leaving no one who reads it thinking of Paganism as evil and Satanic. Anyone wishing to learn about the Craft should read this book.
