Rating: Summary: Witches Tarot Deck Review: The witches Tarot is my first Deck. I have since purchased the much revered Rider Waite Tarot and I find I like my Witches Tarot deck better. I love the artistry even though it could be considered a bit on the erotic side, and I frankly don't give a hoot about the fact they reused the images for the king, queen, prince, and princess. It is easy to find fault with the talents who create artistic products such as these, either the Witches or the Rider deck, but I think both are very positive. I liked the deck so much I have recently ordered the book too.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful cards with a pagan/kaballah focus Review: These cards were wonderfully illustrated and are intuitive to read. This was my third deck, and I got it about two years into doing readings. 7 years and 4 more decks later they are still my favorite and I find I get my greatest insight from them. Remember tarot reading is very personal. Find a deck that speaks to you and use them. I found these to be the best for me, but they may not work for you.
Rating: Summary: Prefered Deck Review: They and beutifully colored and easy to read. If you are just starting out and you want something simple but not traditional and boring this is an ideal deck. This deck of cards was my second deck. My first deck was thrown away by my mother but when she saw this one she loved them to the point that I had to buy her one. Today I have 5 decks, and each has its purpose but this deck is my personal deck that I don't like to use for anyone.
Rating: Summary: My actual rating is 2 and 1/2 stars! Review: This deck is pretty good, but I'm not into the Qaballah. As a Wiccan Witch, I don't have any interest in Non-Pagan systems of mysticism. The artwork is a mixed bag. Some of it is beautiful, but the pictures that feature the muscle-bound males are quite unappealing! I only use this deck when someone asks me to use it when I'm going a reading for them.

Rating: Summary: Inspiring, Enriching and Comfortable for the Beginner Review: This was my first tarot over 8 or 9 years ago. I'd misplaced the deck, my books, and my interest for a long while. Now that I have returned to the use of tarot for growth and inspiration, I found that I really missed having this deck in my collection. It's not the most artistically unique, as some other reviewers have noted, criticizing the deck for having identical images for all the court cards, for instance -- (though the elemental and color symbolism is what I believe is being emphasized with that choice, allowing the personified images to take a back seat to the spiritual concepts). But then again, I don't have this deck for collection purposes -- I have others for that -- this one's for use. It was a great way to learn tarot and to initially learn about Paganism and Wicca in the days before the internet (and Amazon.com) made that task more easy; and it is still a good deck for me now, years later. I'd recommend it for a beginner who is particularly interested in the grounds of Qabala or Wicca, and not so much for those with a more general or non-specific interest.
Rating: Summary: Disgusting, cheap, tacky, and morally offensive. Review: This Witches Tarot is easy to understand but the pictures (with the exception of a few of the cards) are tacky. Ellen Cannon Reed is a good writer with the ability to make even the hardest subjects easy, but having several different tarot decks I couldn't wait to give this deck and book away.
