Summary: Silver's book applies to life.
Review: "To Ride a Silve Broomsick" - educational and just as important, entertaining. I found that, as a relative new-comer to the Craft and a Solitary as well, Silver's way of bringing Paganism into everyday life easy to apply to my lifestyle. She keeps the Craft lighthearted and reminds us that this Path is a joyous one and doesn't have to be dogmatic.It saddened me to see Coveners comparing thier more structured beliefs with the eclectic format of "To Ride a Silver Broomstick". No Path is the right one for everyone and Silver reinterates this throughout her book. Fortunately there are people out there like Silver to reinforce this. A definate must read for everyone from beginner to Elder. For beginners and Solitaries it is a tool to base thier growth on. For Elders and Coveners, it serves as a reminder that one of the things that draws people to Paganism is the fact that one can tailor one's beliefs and one's magick in a style that makes them comfortable.

Summary: Excellent in every way.
Review: Someone said that the cover of the book turned
them off. It did just the opposite to me. I was intrigued by all the illustrations throughout the book and was impressed to find that the author is also the illustrator.
Whenever I see people in the New Age section of the bookstore, more often than not, they appear to be similar to the witch on the cover. In other words, the cover reflects that todays witch is not necessarily against the "trappings" that modern society offers. I guess you could say that she is truly ECLECTIC!

Summary: Great help for beginners
Review: I am still a beginner trying to find my path in Wicca, and I must say that this book helped tremendously. I'm supplementing it with many other books (after all, there is no *right* path to faith) and ideas, but in introducing the Wiccan paths to someone who has only the faintest idea, this book is wonderful.

Review: A fantastic read. Anyone starting out (or interested in a thorough library for the Craft) should have this book. Well written and the illustrations are gorgeous! One of those that will be read again and again!

Summary: Excellent resource for New Age Witches
Review: I met Silver last summer, and discovered that she is the most "down-to-earth" woman I've ever met. Her efforts to educate a new and growing population of Wiccans is in earnest, quite genuine, and she has done an excellent job of preparing this book for Newbies. This is an excellent resource, even tho I would have like to have seen ~more~ information about the Goddess.

Review: The author talks to you like few authors can. You feel as if she's there teaching you personally. This is the best guide to understanding Wiccan Spirituality. I recomend it to everyone intersted, be it to learn the practice or just to understand it.

Summary: Great beginner book
Review: She just touches the bases letting you know what is possible but not pushing a particuar type of Wicca she lets you know of the different types and helps you get started on the path to Wicca but the type you choose is your own she doesn't push you to study the Goddess only or the God only she lets you know it is your choice alot of excellent exercises for the beginner. Because of this book I have definately decided to learn more and follow the Wiccan path.
