Her "witch's notebook" concept is an exciting and interactive learning tool. Perfect for those who know a little of the Craft or nothing at all. Once you have read this book, you will have the foundation to continue on in the Wiccan way.

Review: This is soon to be one of the standards in the field. Every Pagan/Witch should have this in their library. Few other books on the subject have been written with such style and personal touch, as well as giving the reader, uninformed or old hat alike, such valuable insight and useful information. It's the next best thing to being taught sitting on Grandma's lap. No wonder we call her Mama Silver!

Summary: One of my absolute favorites!
Review: This was the first book introduced to me to read by a friend ( who had a different set of beliefs that I couldn't understand.) I asked her to teach me. This was the book she gave me. She gave me no further information as to her beliefs, but let me find out in this book. Then she filled me in. I found the book absolutey wonderful. I found the way to my OWN spiritual path, Silver Ravenwolf forces no particular set of beliefs on anyone, and the other books for suggested reading adds that much more valuable insight to what you are learning about: The history of witchcraft, and such. I found this book and it's successor very valuable tools for my progression. Heck, my husband has become interested in her books too! I would highly recomend reading this and the other books mentioned within her book. I truly loved it.

Review: To Ride A Silver Broomstick is likely one of the most (if not the most) comprehensive beginners book on eclectic Wicca and magick on the market. It is thorough, precise and written as if you're sitting across from her at the kitchen table having a lovely magickal chat. I've read some of the other reviews here and frankly, I'm in question as to whether they have opened the cover of the book, let alone actually tried reading it. My advice, buy the book. Read the book. Then decide for yourself.

Review: Alright, I was trained on Bucklands book, but this is the BEST I have read so far. The easy writing style reads like a charm and it is very hands on as well. EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Review: I liked the book a lot. It outlined things with out imposing her atttitudes. I've had ENOUGH of people imposing their attitudes. It was ment for beginners and was easy to understand. I like that it didn't make witchcraft a huge intimidating mystry.
