Summary: VERY COOL AND INFORMATIONAL
Review: This book is one of the best spell books I have ever bought. I especially liked the part about stocking your magickal cabinet. Although this is the best book in the world, it doesn't really explain as well as it could have been. But I would definetally recommed this book to everyone!

Summary: great introduction to witchcraft and the Pagan lifestyle
Review: I am new to witchcraft and Paganism. I needed a great introduction that gave me the tools to begin my journey. This helped a great deal and I never felt I was "being talked down to" because I was new to the craft.

Summary: Clearly and nicely written
Review: An excellent, broad introduction to witchcraft, or specifically Wicca. Silver writes in a conversational, positive style that is far from sounding like a textbook. The only downside is that she covers so many topics that she very rarely delves deeply into any one aspect of the Craft. Excellent for beginners or other interested people.

Summary: It's all right, not the end-all or be-all....
Review: ...of books for Wiccan beginners. I found it a bit too rigid & uncompromising. That is NOT to say that it is not worth one's time at all. On the contrary, I learned several facts that I didn't find in other books. Just don't make this the ONLY basis for your beginning foray into Wicca. Have one or two other books at hand so you can soak in all info & discover what styles are best suited for you.

Summary: a great book for the beginning Witch!
Review: I thought this was a GREAT book! It had all the stuff I needed to get started up. I've renewed it three times from the library, and now i'm buying it, I love it sooo much! Thanx, Silver. You've really helped!

Summary: Great for beginners
Review: As a beginner, I really loaded up on Wicca books. This one really grabbed my attention, it's easy to read, fun to read and hard to put down. Some have dismissed her books as fluff... but I really feel like she lays things out clearly and just makes things easy to understand for the beginner. I'm grateful that she wrote this book, and am looking forward to reading, "To Stir a Magic Cauldron."

Summary: Excellent.....two thumbs up!!!!
Review: This book is a must-read. It helped me alot when I decided to take this spiritual path. Most of all it's spells are easy to follow and fun to make. Silver has a blessed gift for writing and helping young teenagers like me get into practice of Witchcraft. Many of my friends read the book and it is so infuential that they also decided to follow the path. I can't thank Silver Ravenwolf enough for all the effort she has put in the book.

Blessed be!!

Summary: Repulsive title!
Review: I would not touch this book for ages due to the title...we don't go for cheesey titles in my neck of the woods, but I was given a copy as a present and read it and think it awesome!Well written in laymans terms, humourous and packed with excellent information and I love it.I have bought the whole series now,but I still cringe to see the titles in my bookcase....Silver,keep writing!
