Summary: help this author inflate his ego further by buying his book
Review: After absorbing the inspiring works of Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie I found myself looking for more authors of the same caliber. While briefly thumbing through this book and also Real Magic while at the bookstore I decided to buy them both. What a mistake that was! In his defense this author had a few valid and inspirational remarks about life and his views on life. The only problem is that in order to obtain these rare nuggets of information you have to wade through pages and pages of self absorbed, egotistical dribble. As he begins to tell you what a great and wonderful person he is because he has "transcended" his old drug addiction, the reader is left wondering what kind of drug he is on as he bounces from topic to topic often repeating himself in a drunken haze. The entire worthwhile content of this book (the meat of the subjects) could have easily been summarized in one 500 word essay. If you like listening to an old man repeat himself and puff u! p his ego then you should definitely buy this book.

Summary: A great spiritual "how-to"
Review: After reading many books dealing with the spirit and our personal journeys here on earth, I still found myself at a loss on how to get from where I was in the present to all of the principles espoused in the books. It seemed as if I could grasp the concepts...but had difficulty applying them. Wayne Dyer's book gave a step-by-step approach that was clear and really worked for me. On several occasions, light-bulbs went on in my head; and I found myself so overwhelmed by the impact, that I'd have to put the book down and just say "wow". Not only do I recommend this book highly, I've given it as a gift on several occasions. The recipients have seemed to enjoy it as much as I did.

Summary: A life changer book
Review: Before the day I bought this book I really thought,I've had enough with self-development books - because as we all know it most if not all of them are the same just like Romance books!I proved wrong, because
honestly this book changed my thoughts, and philosophies of life. It differs from other self-help books
like the day does from night.I liked this book so much that I am actually afraid to read other books, because I want the informations I have absorbed from it get stuck in my mind and applied in daily basis, for as long as I live.

Well done,Wayne - with this book you've given other writers a clue how a book should really be like.

One more thing regarding this book - Do not give up on the first 50 pages even though you may get confused a bit - remember that gold always lies underneath mud, so keep digging and get as much of it as long as you can because the term "it's never too late" sometimes is "no time left".

Enjoy the life you never knew - once you finish reading and
understanding the meaning of this beautiful book.

Summary: Feeling Less Alone
Review: Dr. Dyer does it again! Although I have not done much meditation (tendency to fall asleep), I have taken tiny steps on the sacred path. I can say, unequivocally, that his suggestions do help. I have periods of time when I feel that I do NOT have any problems and that I am NOT alone. His book has helped me to reconnect to things that I knew instinctively as a child, but lost sight of as I grew older. By feeling less alone, I mean that I no longer feel that some of my ideas are so bizarre and way out there. I totally agree with Dr. Dyer when he says we are suffering from a spiritual defict. I feel that that is probably 99% of the world's problems, lack of spirituality. He doesn't hesitate to relate some of the personal difficulties he has experienced, which helps to give credence to what he says. Keep it up, Dr. Dyer!

Summary: An incredibly eye-opening book by a great human being.
Review: Dyer is a major spiritual force. I have read many of his books and they grow more profound with each year of his ever-evolving life. His lecture tapes are great too. I'm ordering another copy of this, having given several away to friends. He's informative and inspiring while remaining totally down to earth. Do yourself (and everyone you know) a great favor and read this book. You won't regret it.
