Summary: Russell Bowen lives on! The people must see!
Review: Incredible documentation showing that the Bush family have long been involved in deep corruption involving greed, drug dealing, assanitions, selling chemical weapons to Iraq, lying to the people with no challenge from the media. These allegations have been corroberated many times and almost rocked the country with Gary Webb's cia story. Later verified by the cia 's own admission in volume 2 released on October 7, 1998. The media continues to protect the Bush's and their criminal empire and Russell Bowen quitely shocks the underground almost a decade later. The comments of Ross Perot to George Bush about pows in Veitnam are also to true. After Perot came back from a search mission from Veitnam, only to find out that Richard Armitage and the cia were abandoning American pow's to protect a drug running operation. After Bush was elected president in 1988 Perot formed a group called United We Stand and organized the reform party. He ran for president and constantly attacked Bush, but never Clinton. He never brought up the drug running because of ridicule from the cia dominated media, but knocked Bush out of the office! Russell Bowen's incredible documentary will continue to live on and he will keep a low profile like any smart person in his position would. God bless him.

Summary: From New York Times to Wall Street Journal
Review: Informative and well documented story on the what you don't see part of the story. I am amazed the general media hasn't run away with this touting the respected research done into it; the stuffed away articles in some of the most respected newspapers.

Summary: Scary Stuff.
Review: Is it true? Some of it definitely is..

Summary: So bad, so paranoid, so illogical.
Review: Of all the irrational political books on the market, this ranks among the worst. It's worse than Michael Moore as far as innacuracy and lack of evidence of mental strength. It would seem that Bowen has just enough functioning neural connection to write, gather random unverified stories and maintain a paranoid outlook, beyond that I guess he must at least have a functioning brain stem. Nearly everything in this book can (or has been) easily refuted. Nothing more than a middle school students efforts at critical thinking can refute his claims. The fact that idiots are out there buying this and believing it is both scary and disappointing. Nothing new I guess.

Summary: Unmasking the Bushes
Review: Russell Bowen's account of the Bush family serves as a roadmap illustrating how contacts coupled with opportunism produced a pattern of corruption which continues as George II rules in a position achieved through vote theft and a hypocritical one vote Supreme Court majority which cut against the grain of state rights cession these justices generally embrace.

Bowen was one of the first authors, along with historian John Loftus, to reveal how the Bush economic empire received a major boost in the pre-World War Two period with loans from banker Prescott Bush, grandfather of the current officeholder, to Adolf Hitler. This valuable money enabled the Nazi dictator to gain more pig iron and develop his weapons potential.

A former intelligence operative himself, the knowledgeable Bowen traces Bush I's links as CIA Director to drug activity, culminating with his bombing of Panama and the civilian casualties that resulted. Bowen exposes the fraudulent claims of Bush to "get Noriega" after the CIA Director had used the Panamanian dictator as a valuable intelligence source.

The claim that George I was a self-made man in the West Texas oil business is also exposed as a sham by Bowen. The public relations myth perpetrated by Bush cronies was that the Ivy Leaguer drove into West Texas in a dusty old jalopy and, through proper application, made a fortune. In reality he flew into West Texas in his father's private jet and used contacts to achieve a fortune. He emerged as a man of privilege from the beginning who used patrimonious affirmative action to gain fame and fortune. He emerges, as humorist Jim Hightower quipped, as "a man who was born on third base and believed he had hit a triple."

Bowen displays prescience in dealing with the Bush sons in one perceptive chapter. He links all of them to shady dealings and corporate corruption, notably George II and his swift bailout before the roof fell on Harken Energy Corporation, the oil company he headed. His father, then president, squelched the investigation into Bush II's Harken activities.

Summary: Getting Away With Treason
Review: Smoke a joint, harming no one, and you may spend years in jail, but betray your country, and get elected to high office! Bowen exposes the criminal history of the Bush family, from passing our military secrets to Nazi Germany during World War 2 to George Bush's clandestine deal with Iran to delay the return of American hostages until after the 1980 election. Like Hatfield's "Fortunate Son" and Ivins' "Shrub," this is a must read.

Summary: The Bushanostra?
Review: The Cosa Nostra has nothing on the Bush family. Author Russell Bowen brilliantly shows what has been going around within the "shrubs" and around them. It is amazing how a family can talk of Christian values and be so underhanded. Bowen doesn't just make charges or inuendo as one would expect from tabloid journalists (as would be supported by the Bush family) but gives credible sources of information. Reading this book I learned much more than I thought I would. Some things that did not make sense before do now. This is a book I would recommend everyone read. Buy one or buy two but read and pass along before the 2004 election. The future of the United States and the world may depend on it. Maybe then the Republican Party will run someone other than Dubya and maybe the election will be fairer next time.

Review: The people that gave this book a low rating have either not read the book or are just looking to discredit truth about the Axis of Evil - Jeb,Dubya and Daddy !

Summary: Tired of Being Bush-Whacked?
Review: There is a TON of information packed into these 200 pages. Event after event, lie after lie, flip flop after flip flop, covert actions after covert action, and lie after lie, this book weighs in on Bush's historical record.

Is Bush to blame for the escalation of the drug trade? Read this book for some info on the subject. Read how he hid deals and ownerships of companies that he knew violated Mexican laws. How he supported Saddam Hussien, how he partnered with Hussein and Saudi Arabia to keep oil prices high so his family could make more money. How he was involved with the CIA (although he denied it) back in the late 50s and early 60s. What does he know about the Kennedy assassination? He gave a briefy the day after to government officials. He denied being in the Iran-contra loop but he set up the connections for it. He continued to pay Noriega over $100,000 a year while Noriega was stealing U.S. intelligence and running drugs to the United States with CIA cover.

What was his role in the delaying of the Iran Hostages release? A national black mark that folks have not heard enough of. He gave Hussein the go-ahead to invade Kuwait and then attacked him. How he had to be ordered by the Supreme Court to stop lobbying the IRS on behalf of drug companies when he was VP.

The list goes on and on and on and one. Read this book and have your eyes opened. It will entice you to read more on the sad subject of the life or priveledge and abuse of power. And everyone thought Clinton was the worst, when the facts come out on Bush it would be hard to decide who was the worst.
