Summary: Can you think of a better way to live?
Review: Who is Neal D Walsch? who am I who are you who is God? This material is real. If we search our sould deeply enough then we would remember. Its either Love or Fear. For all those who think that Neale did not ask relevant and pertinent questions, why don't you ask God yourself? Do you think that the God that you believe in is unable to speak to you? Again you can't know God is you think that you already know him. But all the same, this is the only game in town. You can't loose. Such is the magnitude of God's Love. If you don't get it now you will in the next life or the next. Great Books. Get yourself the Trilogy and find the truth. The following technique helped me to understand. After reading I put the book down as Blasphemy and concentrated only on the love of God as I knew it to be then. Search in your self for the highest truth and forget who is Neal D Walsch. Look for God as if you do not know her. EXCELLENT MATERIAL THAT WOULD ONE DAY BECOME HOLY SCRIPTURES. Where is the TEN STAR Ranking???

Summary: Predicts Clinton's impeachment!
Review: Aside from the sense of love, joy and peacefulness I felt when reading this book, look at p.226: Walsch asks God "Are you saying president Clinton is going to be murdered?" God replies "Let's just say there are going to be tremendous powers attempting to remove him from office. They've got to get him out of there-just as they had to remove John Kennedy 30 years earlier. Like Kennedy before him, Bill Clinton is doing everything big money hates. [...] That has not made him very popular with a very large segment of America's rich and powerful." Is that amazing or what? The copyrights of this book date from 1997, long before his impeachment! Just another reason to seriously consider this book as being true.

Summary: STILL IMPACTING MY LIFE!
Review: I read book II in 1998 and it changed my life because I did exactly what was stated in the book, I "threw away all that I thought I know about GOD and went on a new adventure". I am now listening to the tapes of book II and I am having a new experience with GOD because I did not live some of the things I had read, now I will remember to live what I know. As I listen to the tapes I marvel at Neale Donald Walsch (the author) because he is truly asking the questions that we all should ask. I intermittently think of and thank Neale Donald Walsch for being so brave to put into print "Conversations with GOD I, II, III.

Summary: All 3 books were excellent and thought provoking
Review: Life changing books. They give us a look at God from a loving and nurturing place. Those who feel that these books are a contradiction to the Bible have only been reading the words. There is nothing said in the books that cannot be found in the Bible including quotes from Jesus. I feel that CWG takes most of the traditional teachings from all religions and expands on them in a way that makes them more attainable. I came away from reading these books with the feeling that God is always there for me in a way that my religion has never done. I think that the problem that critics have with these books is the fear that if we believe these books could possibly be from God, could that mean that the religions we have all been practicing be wrong. Really read these books and you will see God is not against our religions and traditional beliefs but wants us to see that they are limiting us and there is so much more. Maybe we should use these books along with the Bible to bring more love and life to our existing religions. These books will be as important to me as my Bible is.

Summary: ONE OF MANY
Review: I have listened to Book III and have found it to be inspirational too. Questions are answered and I see no rock unturned with Neale's questions. Some of the answers are hard to take. But I have found that many are evolving into an enlightened culture that I look forward to being a part of.

Summary: Very inspirational
Review: This book is inspirational and is similar to another book I recently read. The Third Time Is Now. It is sad to see how the critics respond to this sort of material. History is repeating it self. These things happened in Bibical times. People were feared by those who had conversations with God. They had rather take the word of a mortal god and be lead like sheep.

Summary: Sadly, people will believe this stuff
Review: In his books, Neale Donald Walsch strives to provide us with a god we can all like: humorous, concerned, personal but not meddling. His deity discourages alcohol and the consumption of red meat. Reincarnation is real, but the notion of Karma isn't (since that would imply owing a spiritual debt). The Walsch-god dismisses any notion of right and wrong by telling us that we just need to make our own moral choices en route to becoming the best souls we can be. There is no need to discuss the Bible: the Bible, the Walsch-god informs us, is not authoritative. Oh. Well that simplifies things. That leaves us with a ponderous question and answer session in which God intimates that Jesus was an enlightened teacher, along with Buddha, Mohammed and others. Walsch thoughtfully avoids asking God questions about Israel, where souls originate and why, and other obvious questions. Is it just me, or is Mr. Walsch's divine being an amalgamation of various New Age teachings and trends? Would our creator sound like this?

Neale Donald Walsch's fertile mind has indeed produced a thought-provoking dialog. What is reprehensible, however, is that he chooses to present his ideas, not as the product of his intellect, but as the inspired words of God. That excuses him from accountability. If you've got a problem with any of it, don't go to him, take it up with the Almighty. Meanwhile, he can take to the lecture circuit as God's messenger (naturally, his God explicitly tells us that it' OK to make a buck doing His work). Clearly, if the ideas expressed in Mr. Walsch's books were presented as the philosophy of a mere mortal, they would be dismissed as more New Age horse-sh**. Walsch knows this. Sadly, many who read his books will not.

Summary: this book has helped me a great deal
Review: For those of you who want to understand the meaning of what God is all about you should definitely read this book.I actually felt a serene calm come over me as I turned each page.

Summary: Inspirational
Review: I personally found the book to be very inspirational. I do not understand why those of you who gave this book 1 star seem to be so close minded. I could be wrong, but all of the critics of this trilogy that I have personally spoken with simply don't like it because it claims to be God's word. As soon as they hear that they immediately close their mind and immediately try to hate the book in every possible way, because they believe that God's word can only be recorded in the Bible and no where else. The world is obviously changing, and this book merely offers an option that could be taken. As far as Walsch's style being the same as God's word, that was also explained in the books. Walsch writes that his thoughts were God inspired, and that God's word was being filtered through Walsch's mind and put into his words. I loved these books, they have given me a new direction in my spiritual walk with God; one that touches my heart.
