Summary: "With no hesitation or forethought, the best book ever."
Review: Out of the 5,000+ books in my personal library, (most of which are of a metaphysical/spiritual nature) "Conversations with God" Volume I and Volume II are the best books I've ever read. If I had to give up my library and could never purchase or borrow another book, I'd keep "Conversation with God" Volume I and just keep on reading it and reading it and reading it ... With anticipation, I await Volume III. From my Soul to yours, thank you, Neale Donald Walsch, for allowing this "uncommon dialogue" to come through. Keep on listening/writing for us all

Summary: An Excellent Sequel to Book One
Review: I was thrilled with this book, as I was with the first one. It provides some excellent guidance about how to get our world back on track by making changes on a personal level, for instance, how we run our businesses and governments. I highly, highly, highly recommend this book, but FIRST read Book One!

Summary: He Did It Again
Review: This book follows perfectly CWG 1. I got it and read it quickly and devoured every bit. Although I was always horrified as the rest of humanity by Hitler's actions, deep down inside, I always believed this God's veiw of Hitler's actions. I think when you can finally view your own dark side , others can be more accepted with love. Also, religions never quite made any sense to me, just a way to control people, and not very loving and Christ-like. This has more spirituality than some of the other religion's teachings put together! Looking forward to Book 3

Summary: CWG2 showed me the way how to change the world
Review: I have always wanted to make this world a better place to live. After reading CWG1 and learning Who and What I Am and understanding how I have the freedom to chose Who I Want to Be, CWG2 came out and showed me the way how to make my dream come true. Ever since I read it, I have been changing the world already. By first changing myself and then being an example to my friends and coworkers, I am already changing it. My friends still do not believe it, but they like what they see and want to know where it comes from. I tell them, it all comes from INSIDE. Like Ron Rathbun says it in his book "THE WAY IS WITHIN". I have chosen to make my contribution to make this a better world and I can honestly say, it is already a better world: I have already change, therefore, the world has also changed a little too. Thanks once more dear Creator, thanks Neale and thanks all of you dear bother spirits for choosing to be part of this wonderful world. LOVE YOU ALL

Summary: Another Hit
Review: If you haven't read Book 1, start there. There are some fundamental principals in Book 1 which would be helpful in understanding Book 2. Book 2 doesn't grab you quite the way Book 1 did, but it is still a very interesting read. Parts of it are excellent. I just wish that Neale hadn't spent so much time filling us in on what happened in Book 1. The two books together are some of the most impactful I have ever read. Even if you completely discount the source, which you are feee to do, you will come away with some radical yet sensible new ways of looking at things

Summary: Earth-shattering!
Review: In CWG II, the current global condition creates an awareness/urgency to act; an opportuntiy for all of us to recreate. In CWG I, I saw myself for what I was, faced myself, and am (happily) changing Who I Am. In this book, we see our world --her leaders and people, for what she is----our world must also be recreated. It's a great story, and a still greater opportunity for the reader to evolve. Thanks, Neale

Summary: I was captivated and enlightened
Review: I've had many days where I've sat and wondered about all the things that have or have not happened in my life. I've often wondered if I'm doing the right things. Often times I become very frustrated. You know? Why do bad things happen to good people? I have followed my faith as best as I have possibly can. I have sacrificed so many times. My family has sacrificed so many times. And yet it seemed that God wasn't there to help. After reading this book, however, and thinking about my past . . . it has become clear that God was there all the time. He never gave up. He's given me and my family many blessings. He gave me the "free will" to choose. I could have gone the other route and at times I almost did but I didn't. As a result, I am finding out Who I Am. Which is the point of this book. Which is what God wants us to discover in this present life. The moment we find out Who We Really Are is the moment that we become closest to God. Thank you Mr. Walsch. Thank you for sharing your conversation with God

Summary: A spiritual treasure
Review: During a time when I was seeking spiritual direction I "found" Conversations with God, Book 1. It began a spiritual journey and brought me great peace. Book 2 is a continuation of the same messages of love and hope. It is more difficult to read because some of the ideas point out how limited our society is in dealing with our lives and those around us in a loving way but it still offers great hope for our future as a people. I recommend it to anyone who is seeking his or her own truth about life and our place in it.

Summary: Says some impossible things.....
Review: I was reading through this book after reading the first. I was pleased at first, but after a while I got upset with two things:

1. Our dreams at night are out-of-body experiences in which we live out experiences from our past and future lives. Sorry, but I have a hard time believing that in some point in time I have/will been/go to the airport in nothing but a bathrobe and came/will go into the lobby, which was/will be filled with rabbits.

2. We are told that we are given successive lifetimes so that we can use each of them in our development to find God. I have no problem with that - but we're never told what happens after we've had "Perfect Union" with God - only that we can choose to go back to Earth anyway and live out our lives teaching others about God. Still, "God" says in the book that there is a Heaven. But what's the point of Heaven if no one ever gets to stay in it, and we just keep reincarnating, over and over, even if we've achieved our goal of Union with God? What's the point of achieving that Union if it gets us to the same ends anyway?

So I had those two problems, along with a lot of conflicting messages that kept consistently negating each other. I think this book has a lot to say, and that people should read it - but at the same time, I don't think it comes from God. It's too uneven and "God" leaves many questions partially unanswered.

Summary: Read the Bible instead
Review: If anyone is seriously looking for answers as to who God really is. The only book that will give you true answers to life is the Bible.

The Bible is the only book that has the answers. There are so many different versions out today that are easier to understand, (New International Version) you don't have to get the King James, and have to deal with the "thou shalt's" and what not. The Bible is available in plain English. It is so helpful, is a guide to help us through tough situations in life. God is a loving God yes. But just like anything, when you do something that is contrary to what His word says, and yes, we all sin, He asks that all "repent" and if we harden our hearts and continue and go our own way, and think we know it all....sooner or later, God will take His hand of protection off of us and then disaster happens. God does not force Himself on anyone. We all have a choice. There is good...and there is also evil.

I think the lines between good and evil have been so blurred these days, and people need to be reminded that there are also consequences to our actions. The author Neale Walsh paints too rosy of a picture, and not the truth. Just look to the basic book about God, the Bible, you will find your answers there..and once you have your own personal relationship with God, you will know His will for you and that He truly loves you. :)
