Summary: A Very Informative Guide
Review: I feel this book was outstanding. Very informative, and had great information of the otherside....... Sylvia browne seems to really know what shes talking about. What I really like about her explanation of things, is that she doesnt give just an explantion, with no justice or backup sysytem, she always has something to backup her ideas, and theories... she does not just come up with a story and expect others to believe. She writes what she writes, because she has experienced it sometime or an other.

Also, she gives very logical explanations, for why things are the way they are. She explains things in the spiritual, and the scientific. From medical issues, to witchcraft.

The only negative or "not so positive" thing I can probobly think of about the book, would have to be the fact that she tended to repeat some of the same information in the first book "adventures of a psychic", and reprint it in this one..... It sort of frusterates me to read the same information over and over, but i think she did it to sort of refresh, or review... but otherwise, I feel she is an astounding women, and this is truly a MUST read. Thank you Sylvia.

Summary: Never be without this book
Review: I have read it, loved it and bought a copy for everyone I care about. It is wonderful. Why? Because I want to know what is going on with this crazy world we live in and Sylvia explains it in very simple terms. It will comfort those who have lost loved ones and it will answer questions about what happens when we die. In general, it will provide specifics on soooo many questions you have always asked yourself about life. Don't let anyone borrow it, buy them a copy, for two reasons: 1)It will be hard for the person to return it (you may not get it back) and 2)You will miss it when it is gone.

Summary: Life Altering Information
Review: People will never again have to worry about loved ones or even themselves passing on to the otherside. I know for a fact that Sylvia Browne is right on the money. Things that I have thought to be, have been validated in her writings. She can bring peace to your life if you are willing to open up and recieve, not only her information, but information that comes from the GOODNESS of God. Sylvia invites debate and provides accurate, undeniable answers. If she is not a self-proclaimed Prophet, she damn sure should be. BUY THIS BOOK AND LET YOUR SELF-DEGRADATING WAYS GO!

Summary: Enlightning and Wonderful
Review: I bought this book on a whim just before leaving on a trip so I could have something to read on the airplane. I thought it would be interesting, but I never imagined it would be so captivating and enlightning. From the very first page, I couldn't put it down. I was raised Catholic and so many things really hit home for me. I usually "pass on" my favorite books to one of my sisters. This time I have purchased individual copies for each of my sisters. I want to re-read my copy two or three times more. Thank you, Sylvia, for sharing your gift with us and for giving so much information in one small book.

Summary: You'll never look at "death" the same way
Review: I purchased this book because I had lost my 2 year old son recently and I needed to find out what had happened to him. I was full of questions about afterlife -does it exist- was it really his time or was I the fault. After reading this book I realize that everything happened the way it was supposed to, and we mortals really have no control. I also know that my little boy is happy and with all my loved ones who have passed before and I know he is very well taken care of and loved. Through Sylvia's book I also learned the signs that he has been trying to tell me he is o.k. I would recommend this book to everyone who has lost a loved one. It was a source of great relief to me.

Summary: Finding Solace
Review: I purchased three copies of this book; one for myself, one for my daughter, and one for a friend who had recently lost a loved one. This book does help you find some solace when you are "searching" as I was, and still am, after the loss of my son. Sylvia does present certain insight to allow you to identify and find your own way to your personal quest for answers. Sylvia is very matter-of-fact in her writings, and it's easy to relate and understand the scenarios she presents to get her point across. I did also purchase the audio tape set relevant to this book. However, if you plan to attend one of her lectures, do not bother to purchase the tapes, as the lectures are almost verbatim, except for audience questions, to what is on the tapes. In fact, if you want Sylvia to autograph your book, don't buy it until you attend the lecture. She only autographs the books she and her "ministers" sell at the lecture. In Sylvia's book, "Adventures of a Psychic," she makes comment about a psychic she herself went to see when she was only beginning to do more than private readings. Sylvia was diappointed with the non-sympathetic, show-biz demeanor of the psychic that was bluntly answering heart-felt questions from the audience and saying virtually..."Next!"...without even taking the time to pause and be sincere with the person asking the question. Unfortunately, I must say, Sylvia is guilty of this very same thing with her lecture audiences...too much show-biz...not enough respect for the person truly seeking answers to questions that are heart-wrenching. I attended her lecture "To The Other Side and Back" in Seattle, in August after my son passed on in April. The lecture encompassed no more than the tapes I had bought just previous to the lecture. My daughter, my son's friends, friends from my work place, and I went away that night very disappointed in Sylvia and her lack of concern for the audience. Her granddaughter, although adorable, was not only a distraction to the lecture but an unnecessary part of such a serious gathering. I am writing Sylvia and Montel Williams about my disdain with the "show-biz" aspect of Sylvia's lectures. I urge her to stop touring for the dollars if she is truly tired of touring. She is doing none of us a favor by continuing, just for the money.

Summary: This book is so incredibly silly!
Review: Sylvia's ideas are so out there, they are utterly ridculous! No wonder she appears on daytime talk shows; that is where she belongs! I have done so much research into this area, and her theories are just plain stupid.

Summary: The Other Side and Back....
Review: Very briefly, I can honestly say that this book has become one of my prized possessions. I consult it often, and have recommended it to others. Ms. Browne's honest, informal style of writing makes spiritual matters entertaining and easy to understand.

"The Other Side and Back" offers insight and comfort, not just regarding spiritual matters, but earthly matters as well.

Summary: The Other Side and Back
Review: I have enjoyed all her books, this one was so good I got the audio tape to listen to in the car when I travel. The audio is not read by Sylvia, its read by Barbara Rosenblat, and she ruined it for me. Sylvia does a great job with audios and I hope in the future, she does the reading of all her own books.
