Summary: BEST BOOK I'VE EVERY READ IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!
Review: I thought the Other Side and back by Sylvia Browne was the very best book i've ever read in my entire life. Every time I open the book i get very enlightened by Sylvia. She teaches me about universal knowledge that I never knew. She is the best spiritual teacher and psychic. I would recommend this book to anyone wants to know the truth! To anyone who wants to know the meaning of life, by all means, buy this book!!

Summary: Embarrassingly bad; don't waste your money!
Review: Thinking that this book might include some entertaining ghost stories and/or thoughtful analysis of psychic phenomena, I was very disappointed to find it a poorly written, "new age" compendium of pseudo-spiritual blather. This book is quite obviously meant for people who enjoy Jerry Springer and other trashy confessional TV programs, even though it is clearly marketed to a more educated audience. The author tells us that spirits are all 30 years old, and inhabit a dimension which is exactly three feet off the ground. They spend their time on the "Other Side" living in Victorian mansions or log cabins (depending on their taste in architecture), and going to cocktail parties, symphony concerts, art exhibits and lectures, all the while trying to decide if and when they should "re-visit" Earth for another incarnation. All I can say is that after a few chapters, I skimmed the remainder of the book in disgust and threw it away, because I would be mortified if anyone I knew saw it on my bookshelf!

Summary: Interseting and Fun to read.
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Of course I am a fan of Sylvia, so I might just like everything she writes. I think I liked "Adventures of a Psychic" better. Her beliefs are exciting and I want to try all of her suggestions

Summary: Fascinating account of psychic power
Review: "The Other Side and Back" is great. I've always found it darkly fascinating to discover how death and the meaning of life are interpreted in books. War novels like "The Triumph and the Glory" deal with death in a certain manner, such as presenting the value of life as something given up in sacrifice for a greater good. Thrillers use death as a plot device to sensationalize, while murder mysteries use it as the necessary precurser to solving the crime. Psychic books like "The Other Side and Back" approach the topic from another direction, exploring it in depth and presenting a theory to explain the meaning of life and other great mysteries of our existence. I love to compare the approaches! Get a copy of this one, it is very intriguing.

Summary: I could not put this book down!
Review: I loved every minute of this book. I have told everyone I know this is a "must read" book. I have put some of her advice to use and already feel a peace in my spirit like never before. Thank You Sylvia Browne you have changed my life forever.

Summary: Couldn't keep my hands off of it!!!
Review: I bought this book one day and the next thing I know...I'm already done with it! This is the first book of Sylvia's that I have read, and I am already comtemplating my next purchase! Sylvia's manner in this book is so easy to follow and understand. It is like listening to one of your very close friends talk on the subject. Her instructions for meditative excercises as well as performing your own past-life regressions are so detailed and understandable. She gives hefty insight to the Other Side and how we are in their presence everyday. The only time the book dragged was when she went off on cults. She kind of lingered on that subject a little to long...of course it would help someone who has ever been a victim or is thinking about joining but I was waiting to get back into the good stuff! I definitely recommend this to anyone who will open their mind and not be afraid that it will invade your religious spirituality or beliefs.

Summary: An invaluable book that has something for everyone
Review: I couldn't put this book down. It covers so many interesting and important topics that I can't think of anyone it will not help. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up. It is a truly inspiring and helpful book.

Summary: A fascinating handbook of our world and beyond!
Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading this wonderful, unique book by Sylvia Browne. It is more of a handbook to life and the unknown. Not only will you find pages upon pages of wisdom, you will also find meditations, and exercises you can do to enhance your own life!

This book is clear, and easy to understand. I couldn't put it down. Sylvia offers her view of life, through the eyes of a very gifted psychic... and of course that famous humor that only Sylvia can bring. If your life needs answers or if you are unhappy, I urge you to get this book. It can really make a difference in your life.

Summary: Not Recommended
Review: This book, like so many others that supposedly report on the nature of the spirit and life after death, is too airy-fairy, fable-like and simplistic to be taken seriously. Not recommended for the serious student. I recommend Jane Roberts "Seth" books for those who want quality insights into afterlife existence.
