Review: I received this book as a Christmas gift from my mother, to whom I loaned Syliva's book Adventures of a Psychic. Both books have truly changed the way I think and my perspective on many things. All of these reviews that say the ideas in this book make sense - BELIEVE IT! In my 28 years on this planet, this is the first time I have heard something that makes perfect sense and actually sounds a bit familiar to me. I highly suggest both books...if you like one, you are bound to like the other. Some of the same information is contained in both books, but it has to be when you really think about it. Sylvia is incredible...and definitely one of my top choices of people I would most like to meet in my lifetime.

Summary: A Revelation!
Review: All my life I was taught that God is cruel and punishing, that a murderer will go to Heaven if he repents, but a woman who seeks a divorce will go to Hell. What kind of God is that? Certainly not one that deserves my worship. In my very cells I KNEW that God wasn't like that, and after reading Sylvia's book, I am finally at peace with my beliefs. Everything she says are things that I instinctively felt since childhood. Instinct. It should have been my first clue. For years, I studied every religious tome I could lay my hands on, seeking the truth, but the more I read, the less I believed. I was completely torn apart, because I had problems believing in much of the Bible, but I knew God existed. Then I read this book, and for the first time, every word rang true. It was as if the knowledge was already there, behind a door, and the book unlocked it. It felt so natural. And best of all, now I know I'm not crazy. Yes, Preacher, I did have a past life, and NO I won't go to Hell because I must pay for the sins of my parents because I wasn't baptized. Sylvia's book explains why there are no coincidences, why I can't walk into an antique store, and why I have knowledge I didn't learn in this life. I no longer fear that my loved ones may go to Hell, nor do I fear death. I am more at peace than I have ever been, thanks to this remarkable woman with God's gift. Thank you, Sylvia! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Summary: Reaffirmation that we are all spiritual beings.
Review: This has quickly become one of my most treasured books on my bookshelf! The notion that we are all spiritual beings here to learn lessons makes tons of sense. Sylvia's writing has reinforced my belief that we all continue on forever. The 'real' us is spiritual. Apparently, even Hollywood is open to this concept with their recent hit movie 'The Sixth Sense.' There are many parallels between what Sylvia writes and what was presented in that movie. Sometimes a spirit loses its way and lingers on the earth plane, thus becoming a ghost. A line from the movie goes: 'They don't know that They are dead.' This parallels Sylvia's experience with the Sunnyvale, CA, haunting of the Toy's 'R' Us store where a ghost won't leave there because he doesn't know he's passed on. I have a cousin who lives in Sunnyvale and she confirmed knowledge of that haunting. You will acquire new insight after reading this book. It's an enjoyable and educational read that will change the way you view life.

Summary: No more fear of dying!
Review: Before I read this book, I had a terrible fear of dying. I wanted to believe we all went to a better place, and now I don'T. This book is truely wonderful, it will make you understand so much, and help you to prepare yourself for when it is your turn to crossover. I now no that no one ever dies, our spirit lives on, and we also can learn to communacate with our loved ones after they pass over! I have allready had signs from my loved ones that they are in a much better place then we are, and you can learn to look for signs that your love ones give you! If you want to read something that will comfort you spiritually, then this is the book.

Review: This book has to be one of the most relevant references to "life." Not to mention a wonderful guide to those who just don't know what to believe or haven't any faith at all. It is a great start! Maybe not all believable, but it is definitely worth taking the time to investigate what it's contents say about you and those around you. -melissa

Review: The ideas in this book are ideas I've believed for a long time, however, Sylvia expresses them in a way that is so comforting and helpful. I've thought about this book a lot since starting to read it several days ago. I have found in myself a better perspective on life, a better sense of humor, and I've found it easier to give my love and my time to my family since reading this book. I feel more peaceful and optimistic about my life, and more of a connection to the people around me, strangers or family.

Review: Sylvia Browne is one of the kindest authors in psyhic literature that I've found recently. This book is reaffirmation that we do not die and her humor and wit have dispelled many of those silly, mundane pieces of baggage that we come into this existence with. Review: I feel like this book changed my life. It is the first psychic book I've read. I was very open the Sylvia Browne's approach to describing everything she knows but with giving all the credit to God. I am a christian and have always been told never to listen to psychics because they were from the devil. But, with her love for God it is obvious that no harm is being done here. I can't wait for another book.

Review: in and of itself, this is a great book for helping people on their spiritual journeys. however i found that it repeats much of the information and anecdotes from Adventures of a Psychic. i'd recommend this book only if you haven't read the other book.
