Review: The Satanic Bible is the very core of what a satanist believesand what he or she is. In this book you will find the bestphilosophy for those who question everything. For those very intelligent people who are not about to be led blindly through anything. For anyone has or wants to learn of a great respect for life and living life to it's fullest. Satan is the original rebel. Satan is the accuser. and without him the church of god would not exist. Satanism is not about killing animals or hurting children. I challenge anyone who thinks that it is to read this book. This is the book for the strong written by the strong. If I was ever meet Anton LeVay first thing I would do is thank him for the writting the book because it was worth a lot more to me than the $6.99 I paid for it.

Review: this book is the best starting point i would recommend toanyone wanting to find more about Satanism. it is a wonderfullywritten explaination of the CoS, and throughrouly debunks any myths that "hollywood-devil-worship" has portrayed. it changed my views on Satanism. a must read for anyone studying the left-hand path.

Review: I am a soon to be CoS member and the Satanic Bible is the first source to really open my eyes to the beauty of Satanism. It is NOT a book of ignorance.Anton doesn't permit the sacrifice of animals or children.Such ruthless practices are exempt from ritual.CoS members are not cruel,they love those who love them. CoS members do not worship the "living" Satan,rather the symbolistic meaning or relevance of Him.Freedom of will.So,people who want to enter Satanism simply to rebel against their parents by killing chickens or the like will find Lavey's book disappointing. Only people who want freedom from Christian "morality" will welcome the pages.True lover's of life! This is the first book by Dr.LaVey,and still the most popular.
