Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A very enjoyable book
Review: This book I found to be most enjoyable in the reading - it contained some sound philosophies which can be adopted even if the idea of Satanism still appalls.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: LaVey: Satanist or Freudian?
Review: LaVey's Bible should prove typically life-transforming for those looking for someone to articulate their heretofore nebulous criticisms of mainstream religion and society or to legitimate the ethics of their previously unreasoned egoism. The book should have special appeal to agnostics who crave spiritual baggage. Read "Civilization and Its Discontents" before giving LaVey too much credit.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Simple and True
Review: We all love a good book. This is it, whether or not you agree with the views presented or not. It has nothing but logic bound in its pages and if any bad comments are to be said about the author, they can have their opinion, but a true Satanist knows that LaVey was a great leader.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intriguing
Review: Most people think of this book as a "worship Satan" book, but it's not. Contrary to their beliefs, it would probably do them good to read this book. The basic idea of the book is being responsible for yourself. It expresses opinions most people are afraid to express due to fear of being rejected or otherwise tormented. I highly recommend reading this book, it will change your outlook upon yourself and other people.

Summary: Life, not Fear of Death
Review: The Satanic Bible is by far the most intelligent book ever written. Dr. Anton LaVey was an obvious genius. The word "Satan" causes many people to shun this book, which is it's exact intent. Those who can not think objectively to religion are angered by the book, yet many Christians have probably bought this book for the interesting shock effect. In this book, those who are looking for horror are sorely shot down, as it contains only ways of living in an un-Christian society. Far more philosophical and realistic than the Holy Bible (a great fiction novel), The Satanic Bible shows the way to live life to the fullest extent and in happiness. Truly the fathers of our country would have deemed this book "EXCELLENT," in this day and age of Christian Fascism that would be impossible. I think people should read this book and the Holy Bible as the combination of the two creates an objective viewpoint of reality vs. spirituality-Two complete opposites. The Satanic Bible also creates an optimistic view on life as you create your own situations to fulfill your needs, not worshipping an obsolete "god" that demands for you to abstain from all of man's desires.

Summary: Never before have I looked at society like I do now.
Review: This is one of the most revealing and compelling books you are ever going to read although, a lot would consider this book to be blasphemous considering its title. I urge you to read and to try to absorb what is written therein. It could change the very way that you live or the very way in which you view life. Anton was a master of his craft, a gifted individual. It is through his teachings, that we might understand the truth behind Satanism.

Summary: Attention grabbing book that is empty.
Review: As Satanism used to be a parody of christianity, drawing power from it's host and also setting itself up as its rival, so is neo-satanism to satanism. All this book does is use "Satanism" as an attention grabber and then twists it to become a psychology lesson on introspection. The book is poorly written and jumpy, but to give it credit its very imperfection leads the reader to ponder on his/her own. This is the ONLY redeeming feature of this book.
