Summary: so-so
Review: as a person who doesn't care about god or satan, therefor making me un-biased, i'd have to say the book wasn't that good. and it was really boring (about as boring as the HOLY bible, maybe a little more) and the guy had one or two good points. but on the whole, i think he was just looking for an excuse to act like a fool. save you're time and read a romance novel....

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: . . .
Review: I noticed a reveiw of a very religous one whe was showing how the Satanic Bible was brain washing everyone and saying how bad that is. . .Are you a hypocrit? You're just trying to brainwash people to beleive in that stupid GOD of yours. You're hollow just like the letter O in GOD.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: A MASTERPIECE!... at Brainwashing
Review: Anton Laveys - The Satanic Bible is an brilliant work of, mind control through hypnosis. Not intended to promote "Satanism" but to:

a. Create a large CULT called "Satanists" - (which is exactly what it did)

b. Establish himself as a CULT leader - (which is exactly what it did)

c. Get rich off the sad and hurting people of this world who were, and are looking for answers, dumb and intelligent alike. (by the way... those sad and hurting people were created to be sad and hurt. From people just like himself...A true Luciferian, not a "true Satanist" that he claimed to be... though unwittingly his mesmerized cult followers fell for it, and still do. See what i meant in statement b.?) Or is his spell of hypnosis on you?

d. Promote social discord local, and global for the real Luciferians, the Illuminati(Or should i say KIlluminati?)

I guess he wasn't, "the Devil". Then again as he did state that satanism was created to sevice a greater cause of evil. OOPS... sorry Anton i just blew your cover. Wait...? Is it possible to appologize to a dead man, or is that a "dead Devil"? Please everyone refer to the statments above, (Illuminati), c., "A true Luciferian", and the intro of this qritique i'm dishing out.

So in all fairness yes this book deseves a five star rating on the basis that it is indeed a book of hypnosis, as for "satanism"... i mean "cultism" i give it a five star rating too, and as for "Satanism created to sevice a greater cause of evil"... I guess he certainly did that (sadly enough for the human race). For by doing so he cancelled out his own rules like "self preservation is the highest law"(ding dong... wake up!) I'll tell you one thing when his masters FULLY take over, there wont be much room for self preservation. Instead the result will be a communistic run, world of slavery...and all his cult followers helped, and continue to help...(oddly enough???) to bring it on themselves and the rest of the world, again I give it a five star rating.

Which leaves us with a decisive , and accurate qritique of The Satanic Bible, Anton Lavey, the book of hypnosis, the lies, and betrayal:

Although he was a pawn, thinking himself to be greater. Maybe he was "the Devil". After all he did hypnotize hundreds of thousands into being his cult puppets, and helped secure slavery for them in the future at the same time as well, (remember folks he was a cult leader, he made up the name "Satanism" , and it's own "church" that qualifies "Satanism" as a cult!) while fooling everyone (well maybe not everyone) during his Luciferian worship on his free time.

I guess "Satanism" really is a "self indulging way of life" sadly enough the cultist still say:

"HAIL SATAN!"

ZERO OUT OF FIVE STARS! - AND THATS THE TRUTH!

Summary: This book is the way to go about life, MOSTLY.
Review: I am so tired of people saying that you should live your life as to the Holy Bible. This book has opened my eyes to the true way of life, no matter how much say you should live life one way I still believe this is the true way to go.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "You Are Your own Redeemer"
Review: The only book that emphasizes the importance of oneself, the importance of indulgence, influencing men to break the Seven Sins, for they are keys to his existence. If humans were strong enough, more would read this book, for it sets men free!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Whatever you're looking for, this book probably gives you.
Review: If you are a Christian looking for something to loathe, (or people to "pray for,) you'll find it in the Satanic Bible.

If you are a drugged-out teenage goth/metalhead looking for something to shock your parents and your pastor with, you'll find that in the Satanic Bible too.

Most of all though, if you are an open-minded, questing individual, (and make no mistake, a lot of you don't qualify for that title) who wants to learn more about the only religion in history to look human nature right in the eye and embrace it, without the need to fall back on some sort of deity, you'll find that too.

Summary: Philosophy for regular people
Review: Anton LaVey's book has truly been an inspiration. I am not a Satanist, but I can easily identify with many of the things he says. I was raised Baptist and had too many unanswered questions. In my search for answers, I was suggested this book. His philosophical outlooks deny facades to reveal truths that no one will admit. Some people call this book a mentor, some people call it a book of scripture, some call it a blasphemy, and still some call it horrific. I saw it is a thought-provoking, honest book that suggests ideas and concepts, but ultimately lets you decide your own conclusions. It's merely an opening of your mind to begin to understand. DO NOT read this if you don't have an open mind.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Interesting . . .
Review: I find it interesting that you only print those review complimentary to this book and few if any that are critical. I and others have written our unbiased, objective reviews of this piece of self indulgence and after two weeks none of those reviews have appeared on-line.
