Summary: Hard to believe....
Review: The book started out very interesting but as Graybar got into the "meat" of his visions it became too much like fantasy. I wish he would have given a more in depth analysis into what he was experiencing. There are many worthwhile concepts presented but the storyline was too incredulous.

Summary: hmmm....I'm not sure
Review: The premise of this book is intriguing. A fortune 100 corporate officer has a spiritual encounter causing him to change his life path. I'd like to believe it. There are several unsettling aspects though. He mysteriously leaves out the details for achieving his "self designed" "hybrid meditation technique" then later offers classes on the subject (for a fee). His spirit guide with the "highly developed sense of humor" who fails to say anything even slightly witty. Contrived conversation and his failure to ask obvious questions like "where's Mom!!".

None the less, Mr. Graybar invested some serious time and thought into the spiritual lessons contained in the book. They are very thought provoking. I am left, unfortunatly, with even more questions at the end.

Summary: BTBG: The One You've Been Looking For
Review: There are many books on spirituality, but none like this. This is not the type of book you will finish and then wonder, "Did I miss something?" because it failed to give you what you were really looking for in the way of spiritual insight. This book speaks to the heart, the mind, and most of all the soul. Those who are more spiritually advanced will probably appreciate it the most because it affirms what they feel they somehow know already, as well as providing encouragement and incentive to work even harder on getting all they can out of this life. The less developed souls will find much food for thought in this book and may advance considerably along their own path if they can put aside their prior "programming" and read it with an open mind. Regardless of where you are on the spiritual path, you are likely to find this book fascinating. It's the kind you can't put down once you've started reading it, and the kind you want to share with others when you've finished. If you read only one book this year, this should be it.

Summary: ...Beyond Magnificent -
Review: There is no way to know for certain about the expereinces of the author here. Really, who can say what someone has experienced, or not experienced. As a born skeptic, no one was more suprised than me when I finished the book and said to myself, "I absolutely believe every word the author shared and, I love this book." What is clear no matter what you believe though is the perfection of the message and the beautiful life lessons in the book. It's very rare to read a book that enlightens and entertains me; this book did both. If there was any advice I'd give about the book in advance it would be this: you have to have reached a certain maturity in life in order to take in the stunningly magnificent learning that is there for you -- teenagers and immature adults aren't likely to get this message. The other thing is, you need to be open to hearing new ideas about why your life might not be all that you want it to be. When I finished this book I said "well now I know how I got here and, how to get out of the situation in life that I've put myself in!" I could read this book 50 times and still not absorb all of the wisdom that's within the pages. I hope this guy goes on the speaking tour; he's one author I'd actually pay to see!

Summary: Not what I thought
Review: This book is not what I thought. I agree with the fellow who said it's like reading a science fiction novel. The author writes well but I'm on chapter 2 still waiting for something to keep me reading. All he talks about is being in a deep meditation-state and talking to a spirit guide. His "conversations" with this guide sure sound made up to me. I wouldn't waste my time or my money on this one.

Summary: Interesting story
Review: This book is very interesting with many insightful messages about life and finding your true self. The author has a very interesting vision and it is delivered straight to you. I felt that even though the author's intentions were very good, some of these things in the story are either far fetched or underexplained and therefore seem unconvincing. If you are on a personal quest, this may be a very interesting book to read. It has some great ideas about finding direction in your life. If you are on a quest for understanding yourself, I would definitely recommend "The-Ever Transcending Spirit" by Toru Sato though. It is explains things in a better way and is easier to relate to. Having said that, this book is quite good as well.

Summary: Beyond the Broken Gate
Review: This book seemed contrived and spiritually hollow except for the last chapter, and that was a little wordy. I've gotten more from a one hour AA meeting and it was a lot more believable.

Summary: You won't forget this book
Review: This book sticks with you long after you've read it. If you are the least bit interested in exploring the meaning of life & your true purpose on this earth, you won't be disappointed.

Summary: Spiritual science fiction
Review: This is a well written account of a spiritual journey that reads like science fiction. It's fun if you take it with a large grain of salt or read it like a Stephen King novel. The problem is that the author wants us to take him seriously. He claims that he contacts spirit entities while in a trance-like or meditative state, and these entities teach him spiritual lessons. Give me a break. If you read some of the so-called spiritual truths, they are insipid clap-trap much like what one hears on Saturday morning cartoons. If it were billed as fiction, I would have rated it with 4 or 5 stars. The fact that it is being passed off as a true story warrants 2 stars at best. I guess P.T. Barnum was right: there is a sucker born every minute. On second thought, maybe I'll try contacting some entities while in a trace state. Then I can write a popular book with spiritual truths and maybe make enough to retire early. Any spirit guides out there willing to help with such a project? Or any readers of this book who want to buy a bridge in New York cheap?
