Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Captivating. Review: I'm not sure what to believe. Paranoia or Perception. Really makes you wonder. I didn't agree with alot of what he writes (far-fetched), but it would explain some things. I'm surprised no one has sued him for libel and defamation, like the Queen. But I guess that would bring too much attention to it and unnecessarily expose it to the ignorant masses which don't have the opportunity higher education to question what they read and derive their own assessments. His theories are worth looking into. Although if they are true, we're in serious slavery of the third kind....
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: A remarkably deep subject... Review: Well...This was an interesting read. Mr. Icke states that the world is controlled by a group of extradimensional reptilians ("Reptoids" has been used, and I'll use it here, since it sounds cool), through their possession and domination of certain European aristocratic, easily possessed bloodlines. They amass power for the purpose of keeping themselves happy and keeping us (i.e. the "people") down. Among their horrendous activities are starting wars by manipulating the instruments of international finance, human sacrifice with purposefully-bred children, pedophilia, drug running, and other sorts of things. They killed Diana, Princess of Wales, in a sacrifice because she was too nice. Oh, and the Reptoids are chronically unloved, so, by loving them, we can stop them from being mean. There, that's the 115-word synopsis of about 500-plus poorly-written and poorly-edited pages, full of snide remarks (E-lizard-birth is a prime example...), innuendos, defense that he is not, in fact, an anti-Semite, and spurious reasoning. After all, when the world is dominated so thoroughly by a pack of Reptoids, taking along some French gendarmerie as escorts during Diana's ride home that night would only serve to make the NWO choose another tactic, like exploding a tanker truck. Is the world controlled by a pack of Reptoids? Maybe. I don't get enough from Mr. Icke to make me think that, though. His writing style leaves a lot to be desired, and I'm just generally unimpressed. It does make dandy fiction, though, and would be quite useful in a modern-day role-playing game (like d20 Modern).
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Just Don't Mention the Reptiles!! Review: Great advice! I try & follow it every day. Seriously, Im not sure what happened to Mr. Ickes, maybe one too many soccer balls to the head, but for pure paranoid fun this book is *very* hard to beat. Its all over the place, from ancient Sumeria to the English Royal family (man, who doesn't think Charles is capable of transforming into a reptile??). Its fun, wild stuff. Suspend your disbelief at the door & you will be in for some fun reading. 5 Stars for entertainment, and 0 for scholarship, but were you really expecting any scholorship from this book anyways?!?
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Hey, I'm all into "conspiracy theories" but... Review: this book goes a little too far. Now I love a good conspiracy theory. For example, yes JFK & MLK were killed by the government, yes the OKC bombing may be a bit more involved than a couple of country bumpkins. Yes, the whole 9-11 story is shady as all get out. Reptiles ruling the world come-on. Is Bush, Cheney et al corrupt and lying to America? Yes. Are they 1st cousins to the iguana? Not even I, a confirmed skeptic, can't go along with that. However, this is probably a decent read for many if you check your brain at the door, much like a good action movie.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The perfect cover-up for infomation leaks Review: As I read your comments, I realize that my opinion concerning David Icke and his books is far darker. "The Biggest Secret" is a masterpiece of disinformation. He is dealing with highly sensitive information and he is mixing true facts with lies in order to discard those who do not support on these very points the official version. This is an agent whose work is to prevent us from discovering and disclosing truth. His technique is called spoon-feeding. He paraphrases authors that have disclosed sensitive facts but mixes it with lies, defamation and absurd reptilian theories in order to make them look ridiculous. It is an attempt to discredit them. He is working for the very individuals he accuses of child murders and so on. His book is widespread all over the world and contains very defamatory and absurd accusations. If he was independent from those very people who wield extensive power, the book would be censored and he would face trials for defamation. Other authors, like Thierry Meyssan, face hard oppositions and critics, although their statements are much more consistent and less defamatory than those from David Icke. The reason is David Icke indeed works for the establishment. This is a key information if you want to learn something out of the reading of his books. His Masonic style characterized by his deep and detailed knowledge of symbolism and topics that are discussed in the lodges hints at a high degree freemason. He purposely spreads out disinformation with an easiness that can only be learnt through Masonic practice. Master masons begin to tell lies and false symbolic interpretations to the new initiates in their orders, and depending on their potential or background, some of them are selected and initiated to higher degrees with more compromising rituals whose function is to ensure that they will never disclose the secrets they are about to be taught. High degree and most committed freemasons will be provided the back-up to reach the highest positions within the intelligence, military and political communities. One telling example among many is on page 206 of "The Biggest Secret". There is a photograph showing Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon at a Bohemian Grove meeting. David Icke's comment states that this meeting took place in 1957. He purposely provides a wrong date. This event happened the 23rd of July 1967. He wants to hide the fact that it happened just before the 1968 presidential run that brought Nixon to power. A secret agreement was then passed between Reagan and Nixon. Reagan agreed to desist in favor of Nixon. As in all negotiations, the arrangement comprised another side in favor of Reagan. This is what David Icke tries to cover up. If you take these facts into account, and want to know what the conspiracy is really about, then you must critically and skeptically read David Icke's books and find out what he is trying to conceal. You must compare its writings with as many as possible other sources, whether official or not. You must ask you why the individuals targeted let him freely tell what he is telling, although it is mostly mere defamation melded with elements of reality. You also might wonder why he does not face the same hostility as such writers as Thierry Meyssan do. Then you will perhaps get an idea of what is the true conspiracy about.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Most Facinating Book Ever Written? Review: As soon as I started reading: The Biggest Secret, I was intrigued. Before I even bought the book, I knew (to a certian extent)what it was about. Even though I figured that the whole book was non-sence, I decided to read It anyway. To my surprize, I started to become convinced about some of David Icke's theories. As rediculous as they seemed at first, Icke produced so much evidence from so many reliable sources, that they actually seemed possible. As I continued to read the book, It was if I was putting together a giant puzzle using Icke's knowledge, and things that I have noticed in my own life. Now that I am almost finished with "The Biggest Secret", The world seems to make a lot more sence. Many of the mysteries of the world are now solved in my mind. Though the truth that David Icke exposes is terrifying and somewhat depressing, I would still much rather know the truth than to be brain-washed and living in ignorance. If you are convinced by David Icke (trust me, you will be), than this book will change the way you look at the world, and it will change your life. This may have been the most exciting and facinating book I have ever read. Every page is full of startaling revilations. Even if you don't belive any of David Icke's theories, I can assure you that you will be extremely entertained while reading this book. Warning: If you stick with it long enough, this book will make you belive things that you would ridicule if someone else belived them. Also, This book is extremely startling and may be too much for you to handle!
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: The Book That Has Noticeably FAILED to Change Anything Review: Arizona was "programmed and trained since childhood to become a Mother Goddess who conducted Satanic rituals at the highest levels of the [Babylonian] Brotherhood all over the world." David Icke was a professional soccer player in the UK, then he became a TV sports reporter. Then, in 1991, dressed in a turquoise and purple shell suit, he went on an early evening TV talk show and announced that he was the Son of God. He went on to predict global disaster - tidal waves, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes - all before the end of the year. The cataclysms failed to occur, and Icke subsequently changed his mind and decided that he wasn't the Son of God after all. But far too late, I think, to save his credibility with those who had witnessed his strange performance. Put these two characters together and what do you get? You get a book that relies on evidence like this to support its thesis: "The Queen [aka Elizabeth R.]: I've seen her sacrifice people and eat their flesh. ... When she shape-shifts she has a long reptile face, almost like a beak, and she's an off-white colour." "Prince Charles: I've seen him shape-shift into a reptilian and do all the things the Queen does. I have seen him sacrifice children." "Prince Andrew: When Andrew shape-shifts, he looks more like one of the lizards." And I cannot bring myself to repeat what Arizona told David about that sweet little old lady, the Queen Mother. Oh, I nearly forgot, according to Arizona, Princes Diana *wasn't* a reptilian, but she *was* killed as the result of a conspiracy by the British Royal Reptile family. Apparently they decided she was becoming so popular that she had to be killed off before she took over the country, and then the world! (So they can't be all bad, then.) What the book fails to explain is how these alien reptiles from the fourth dimension, who have been trying to take over the world for thousands of years: 1. Still haven't managed to carry out their fiendish plot 2. Are so inept that they could not stop this book from being published. The late Robert Ludlam made a substantial living out of novels based on fictional conspiracies. Unfortunately, in my opinion this book clearly demonstrates that Mr Icke has none of Mr Ludlam's imagination, and none of Mr Ludlam's writing talent. Strictly for the kind of person who is more interested in global conspiracies than in real life.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Grand Unified Theory of Paranoia Review: I love a good conspiracy book, especially when there is some basis for fact in them. However, Icke's book goes way too far in trying to tie every single conspiracy theory in existence into a single "Grand Unified Theory" of paranoia. According to Icke, every single conspiracy (theory) the world has ever known is the responsibility of "reptiles of the lower fourth dimension". The author never seems to get very specific about the physics involved in reptiles "teleporting" their way into different dimensions, or how they are able to control our minds from a different plane of existence (something about them grabbing hold of our chakras). Either he is clueless as to the physics of it, or he is part of the conspiracy himself! Icke's book purportedly explains every mystery you can imagine. From Bigfoot to UFO's. From the Bible to Atlantis. From global warming to the death of the dinosaurs. Icke seems to know it all, but provides pitifully little evidence to back up any of his theories. In Icke you must trust! His "sources" are mostly other books he has written himself, as well as testimony from those under the influence of mind-altering drugs, anonymous Internet hucksters, and the admittedly mentally ill. According to Icke "science" (he loves to put "quotes" around EVERYTHING) is meaningless, and witchcraft is the preferable method of proving theories. Whatever. Out of the 500+ pages in his book, I can buy maybe 4 to 5 of his conspiracy theories, and many of them have been much better documented in other works. The author's lack of research and basic writing skills makes the reader long for a book with an actual editor (none to be found here). Probably the most telling quote from the book comes from its publishers. In the back of the publication it states, "As a small publishing operation, created solely to publish material that no one else will touch, we do not have the resources of a major publishing company." Little things like editors, proofreaders, sane authors, etc. After reading the book, you will find out why no other publisher will "touch" it! For the money, you can do a lot better. Entertaining paranoia, but not worth the money. BTW, towards the end of the book, Icke goes on to claim that not only are reptiles from the lower fourth dimension controlling our minds, but that some of those reptiles are being controlled by other beings from the lower FIFTH dimension! Where does it all end?!!? These reptiles are apparently so incompetent that they haven't been able to wrest control from us mere three dimensional beings in their thousands of years of human intervention. Even Icke doesn't believe that they will ever take over the planet. So where's the problem?!!? If I had my choice between the world being run by lizards, or by David Icke, I'd side with the reptiles. Pass the flies...
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: In the words of Linus, "Good Grief!" Review: I really tried to read this book all the way through, I really did. Especially since I've been trying to get it through my local library for the past few months. Please, do not waste your $25 on this book. It is better spent elsewhere. I can buy his theory on how the earth was formed, I can even buy the Sumerian tablets, in fact, if all his accounts are true, I find them quite likely. But George Bush as a pedophile and serial killer? Gerald Ford, the pornographer? If I somehow became a famous politician and found that someone was writing crap like this about me, they would be slapped with a lawsuit for slander faster than you can say "reptilian". I began reading this book with an extremely open mind, but even this is too much for me (and I believe in aliens, reincarnation, etc. *and* I also believe in a share of conspiracy theories). If you want entertainment, by all means, read it. But I don't know how seriously I would take his "bloodlines" and many of his sources, especially ones who saw "reptialians" while high on LSD. Good grief... I gave it two stars because it is well written, he tries to back up his theories, and it *is* entertaining. But I gave it two stars just for the fact that I think he put his theory together without all the evidence, meaning he "made up" a theory and found "evidence" to support it, rather than the other way around.
