Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Blanket Critisizm Review: During the last ten years or so, many authors have tracked down and tried to understand the Knights Templar and their connections to the Freemasons as well as archeological evidence for people from other planets having landed on this earth. Of the latter, is has become clear that this is a very strong possibility. Of the former, a study of the south of France during the 12th and 13th centuries is convincing enough to prove that a group of people, amongst which were the Cathars and the Knights Templar, so believed in democracy and freedom of religion, that after the Inquisition and the death of Jaques de Molay, they formed an underground movement in the heart of Royalist Europe in order to bring about their vision of a future democratic world. David Icke, on the other hand, sees no good in anything and certainly does not acknowledge the real reasons why such orders as the Knights Templar went underground. He sees all as evil. Unfortunatly. Nobody, to the best of my knowledge, has got to the bottom of Freemasonary. Although it may in the end prove to be a subversive movement, from my own research, there has also been good in it. As for Icke's research into ancient Egyptian symbols, as with all things, these symbols can be used for good and for evil. Icke tends to ignore the good and the fact that the Egyptians were not renoun for human sacrifice and what is more, they adored children as they do today. He views on Christianity being pagan based are however, accurate. But, he does not offer an alternative or a more truthful interpretation. Strip away the pagan rituals that have been attatched to Christianty and you are left with a belief system that is very much in line with Buddism. Respect all living beings. In spite of pagan ritual, the teachings of Jesus, or a group who embodied their beliefs into the voice of one individual, are still valid. Lastly, the reptiles. The British monarchy may be a cold hearted, unfeeling self important rich bunch of people who always get their own way to the detriment of any who oppose them, but I cannot imagine the queen mother salivating over a sacrificed baby. Call me blind or narrow minded if you like. I think that they are just a bunch of selfish self important deluded people living in emotional poverty and unable to have healthy relationships because of it. In spite of all this, I still enjoy Icke for going to the edge. I enjoy him even though I don't always agree with him. What's more, I think he is a good excercise in challanging my own preconceptions and beliefs, which in the end encourages me to prove their validity to myself.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One Conspiracy? Review: Icke makes a lot of assertions and connects a lot of dots, sometimes in a leap of faith. Hopefully, he also asserts a few absurdities, I pray. As a Christian, he makes the common mistake of simplifying all of Christendom as a monolithic human, or spiritual 4th dimension organization, it is not. He further assumes that if one says he is a Christian, he practices Christianity. That is not necessarily true Therefore, he makes a critical error to dismiss all Christianity rather than dismissing the great deceiver in the false disguise of a Christian. Albeit, some of his comments regarding Christians may be true, perhaps the assertions that Europeans are the lost 10 tribes of Israel. Although not mentioned, compare the collaborating but alternative thesis of Icke to E Raymond Capt's book Jacob's Pillar. Icke, in my opinion, has not connected all of the dots in the proper fashion and some of his proofs and assertions may not be correct. That being said, the book is a good read. It will forever change how one thinks about what is happening in the world and open up questions that need to be asked of those who tell us their version of what is happening. The book is decidedly anti-Christian and anti-white racist in its underlaying assumptions, in my opinion. The requirements for a best seller in the current age.

Review: I have read some of Mr Icke's earlier books and found them very interesting and the media response to the books fascinating. This book is extreme... I think, regardless of your initial viewpoint of this type of material, you are likely to be shocked, surprised and most importantly, made to think.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of the hottest books on Earth these days Review: David has finally decided to serve the full story as he sees fit. Not a book for the faint-hearted. But the story has to be told: if we do not know what really is behind the world theatre we cannot change it to the better. This book is all about getting people to wake up and start doing something instead of just groaning and feeling miserable.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: My casual joy has been disturbed Review: LEAPIN LIZARDS!David Icke has done it again with this many-paged read.According to the author the constraints of time-space are not shared by all of us,some people have no respect at all for physics and some of them are'initiates'into old secret societies.Perhaps the theory of hyper-dimensional physics is not so strange after all.If knowledge is the antidote for fear then this investigative book is strong medicine. The late Jim Morrison said that strange days were going to track us down, this awesome book is proof they have found us.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Wake Up People! Review: There are no aliens, there are no sex zombies, and there are no conspiracies. Some of you have expressed amazement that the author has not been sued by the many politicians and celebrities he claims have committed assorted crimes against nature and humanity. There is a reason for this and its not because the claims are true. Its because they are parody. That is how Hustler magazine got away with writing about a certain religious leader's supposed incestuous acts and how The Onion gets away with just about everything it writes about anyone. Its all a joke folks. Use your heads for one minute. Don't you think the professional sleaze mongers employed by the political opponents of those named would be all over this stuff like flies on the proverbial cow pies? Look what they did to Clinton and Clarence Thomas with stuff that was not nearly as juicy as this. But they won't touch this because there is nothing there. Its parody. So have a laugh and go back to sleep.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: THE MOST ANTI-SEMITIC SCREWBALL SCREED I HAVE EVER READ. Review: Holy cow Batman! This book is a bizarre combination of Alister Crowley hallucinating about sexual fantasies with giant lizard men from space, and The Human Race vs The Bush Clan on a frenzied tag team anti-masonic brawl. David Icke has managed to fabricate the most screwball screed I've ever had the misfortune to have read. The author states that the world is controlled by a group of extraterrestrial reptilians because of their possession and domination of certain European aristocratic, easily possessed bloodlines. They amass power for the purpose of keeping themselves happy and keeping us mere mortals down. Just a few of their horrendous activities according to Icke are: Merely running the world (An example of this is that he states over and over that both President Bushes are reptilians, as are all of our other presidents, and most royality.)starting wars, human sacrifice, pedophilia (Those parts of the book made me physically sick.), drug running, and any other deviate behavior one can think of. I have given this book two stars for one reason. It's an endless source of amusement on how gullible people can be when it comes to conspiracy theories. Overall Icke has written one of the most ANTI-SEMITIC, poorly written books I have had the misfortune of coming across.

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Please Clean Up Your Act Icke Review: The sad part about Ickes books are that there are many truths stated in them, but then there is also a lot of "Here Say" and such as well (Ex. Bush's sex slaves and such). Mr. Icke would you pleeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaasssssssseeeeee start putting out well written books with facts or at least well thought out theories for those of who would like to be able to take you seriously?
It is rumored that the current Nicholas Cage movie character in National Treasure is based on Icke. There is no doubt the man is passionate about his beliefs. So when you read his work please look at it with an open mind and a bit of skepticism until he cleans up his act.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: The Biggest Cesspit. The book that smells of cow dung Review: Here we have the original psychotic screed that introduced us plebs to the good ol lizzies. Icke blithers away like a retarded basket case in this paranoid speed trip and covers everything from treacherous freemasons to blood drinking pollies like Al Gore. This stinking compilation of manure is so poorly edited and composed that one can't help wondering if Icke is tripping out on very strong weed. Nothing in this book is factual and is absolutely truck loaded with hypnotic ramblings designed to disinform and mentally disturb the reader. Only read if you want your sanity eroded and your mind emptied.
