Summary: My workbook for Wicca 101
Review: Literally my workbook for Wicca 101, This book explains everything. Not only magick, but the history of the craft. The only complaint I have about this wonderful book is it focuses on Gardnarion a little bit too much. Aside from that, you can adjust various rituals and rules in it to suite your tradition. It also includes questions at the end of each chapter to test what you have learned. An excellent book whether you are a beginner or 3rd degree.

Summary: Good, But Not Great
Review: Raymond Bucklands Complete Book ok Witchcraft is a very good book. This book has loads of information, it has 15 Lessons, and at the end of each lesson there is about 4 Lesson questions, and then a lesson examination. I found that this was a very helpful tool in remembering what you have read. There is a large amount of rituals and spell ideas, as well as the history of Wicca, and Witchcraft. One thing that I found bad about this book, in my opinion was that it was centered a lot around covens. A lot of the rituals were for coven use. The only time he says anything about Solitary Practitioners is in the very last lesson, Which is about 5-10 pages long. I find this a little degrating considering most Wiccans are Solitary. But, if you are planning to join a coven, then this is a very good book for you to read. Therefor, If I was planning on joining a coven, I would have rated this book a 5.

Summary: Best first book.
Review: This was the first book that I purchased about Witchcraft. I loved it. It was very informative and helped tremendously. The lessons were very easy to follow. I would recommend this for anyone new to the Craft and wanting to learn.

Summary: This is a must have
Review: Buckland is one of the best wiccans well known (because of the relationship with Gardner) and has put together a very good resource money can buy. I cant express this enough for any wiccan that is advanced or just a beginner, you will smile with delight and thank yourself for getting such a gem.

Summary: Buckland's Complete Book of Witchcraft
Review: A good starting point for anyone interested in the initiatory stages of covens, but difficult to complete some of the lessons if you're a Solitary. Good, sound background knowledge in the basics of the Craft, but no in-depth study of any particular tradition - good if the student has not decided on their own Path. Wouldn't say it's 'complete', but pretty close!

Summary: Well-rounded, and informative...
Review: I bought this book in a shop near NYC. I didn't like it at first because it was black and white and it wasn't covered with pictures. Colorful pictures may be the only thing that this book is lacking. It gives an abundance of information on almost everything you can think of. The author doesn't go abysmally deep into the subjects, but for a really well-rounded book, this is definately a must-have for a first time (and older, maybe twenties) witch. The lack of color threw me off when I was younger, but now that I look at it (I am older now), it has so much information, that I can get a lot out of it!!

Summary: Not so complete, but still very good
Review: I get a little wiggy when I see anything claim to be the "complete" book of anything, since no book could ever live up to its title, and this one is no exception, but it's a good reference nonetheless.

This book is a bit complex to be considered a "starter-witchcraft" book, so I'd say read it if you've already grasped the basics. The rituals are not very helpful if you're a solitary witch, since they are all coven-based, but you can use elements of them to create your own rituals. It gives an overview of several different areas of magick and practices that witches are likely to explore, such as knot magick and herbalism. You'll need to find other books for more in-depth information on those subjects.

The book is set up very much like a workbook, which allows readers to plan their own course of study (or a course of study with a coven). Buckland's rituals are a little wordy and overly dramatic for my tastes, but, if you like drama, you'll probably like his.

Summary: excellent reading
Review: Great book. It was easy to understand and went into detail on all things it contained. It had practical excerises which ensured all was understand. Especially helpful to those new to the world of wicca.

Summary: A Great First Book
Review: I had this one given to me years ago as my first "witchy" book. It is a great start and helpful in "understanding" beliefs and practices. I love how there is a workbook section with the chapters it is like having a teacher guiding you. There are some beliefs and practices that I personally step over and do not use, but that is up to the individual.
Covers...
Setting up an Altar, Candles, Colors, Runes, Numerology, Rituals, etc...
Some do not care for Buckland, but this is a wonderful resource.
