When I read the back of the book saying "A book that can change your life", I said to myself it cannot be (something more vulgar). Another commercial lines trying to sell this book. So to prove myself, it was true, I started reading the book and found myself reading it straight for hours. This book takes you on an adventure towards spirituality. It is well written, described as a story and takes you on different corners of the planet. You don't get bored. I almost eat the book. I could not help myself reading it. So definitely very enthusiastic about this book! Recommended!!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The story is fine but the message is great! Review: Have you even had a situation where you thought to yourself, "wow, that was a coincidence" or "funny seeing you here. I was just thinking of you" etc., etc. You know what I mean. Well, The Celestine Prophecy protests that these "coincidences" may be more than coinciedences they could be signs or messages or perhaps patterns. If you like to explore the relm of worldly possabilities then this book offers an interesting view and a pleasant perspective if nothing else.I read with an open mind which is necessary if you want to truly explore all of the messages that lie within The Celestine Prophecy. Prophetic and "Heaven on Earth" - maybe, a bunch of hokey "new age" religion - maybe, solid wisdom that we all could apply and learn from - most definately! If you're searching for a "tranquil path" this could help, if you're already on the "tranquil path" this may aid in giving you more conviction. In any case this novel could improve your life. Believe what you believe but you can only believe what you want to. -Stratos

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WOW! Truer words could not be written! Review: I was recommended this book by my best friend. Although I am very skeptical of nearly anyone else's views on spirituality, I bought it anyway. Oh my gosh! On page 5 I was so amazed on how true his words were as far as lifestyle attitudes and the basic way nearly everyone is feeling about their lives at this point! If you can honestly say that you are happy with your life and they way it is going, then read this book for fun, but if you feel lost in the direction you think you are going or are not really sure if anyone else sees the way this world is headed, get this book right now!! You too can respect and enjoy the fact that you are not the only one with your eyes open.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Not by chance...but by design. Divine synchronicity. Review: Excellent, enjoyable read and journey. I am not a fan of fiction, although an avid reader I prefer non-fiction...I want facts...solid evidence...not fantasy. I was so sure that the Celestine Prophecy was a biographical account of a real man's journey that I was dumb-founded to find it was fiction. I had even written the publisher to confirm whether this was true. When I had asked the person who recommended this book if they knew that it was fiction they responded, "What difference does it make?" How true! This book is so marvelously written, it's insights are deep and universal that anyone open to it's message will close the book's last page feeling lighter and wiser for the journey. This book is for anyone seeking a greater understanding of themselves and those who ponder the questions, "Who am I? Why am I here?" Theists and atheists alike will glean something from this book. It's one of the few books I've ever given as a gift and still do 10 years later. It remains one of my all time favorites. A true literary treasure.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Celestine Prophecy: Or How I Lost My Faith in Humanity Review: All James Redfield teaches us in this book is that he has a very poor understanding of evolution, history, human nature, religion, and most of all, literacy. Besides being filled with nothing worth taking away, Redfield has accomplished writing the most poorly written work of fiction I have ever read. This book's immense popularity and following among the "new age" crowd is proof enough that we are damned as a species.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Have to Believe! Review: Even though this book is fiction , it is real. Parables and stories are great for the reader to understand what the author is trying to say. It keeps you going and you want to believe what is said. A higher form is very forceful in this world. Just listen and open yourself to it!!.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Read this and holla back at me Review: Anyone who reads this book, and does not feel something or come away with a cleansed spirit need not read this book, or tyes like it.This book took my breath away, and I began to see all life and mankind in a different light after reading this book, a very highly recommended book, if you are on a spiritual journey. This is a journey not to be missed, no, not at all. Also read all his follow up books and meditations, and workbooks as well. When you are done, go to Gary Zukhav's Seat of the Soul, these two books need to be read back to back and lived.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: no coincidences... Review: if you are at a stage in your life where you are seeking answers to life questions, then this book is definitely a must-read. i must say that the first part of this fictional adventure was difficult to get through, but a friend encouraged me to keep reading and insightful revelations will unravel before me...he was right. my life has changed in so many ways since. and while my faith and beliefs have not changed, i no longer believe that there are really coincidences or accidents in life. things that happen are meant to happen, and if you pay attention to the details and the people that cross your path, the answers to lifes questions lie before you. really. i think to really benefit from this book, you would have to be coming to a crossroads in your life and are seeking change and enlightment. contrary to what some people would say, it does not conflict with religious beliefs...i believe it enhances faith. see for yourself. ...
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A powerful book for those who are searching Review: Many may disagree with me but I think this book is good for those who are damaged by religion. If we as humans don't believe in a god, somehow we create one to believe that there is something more out there. This book encourages spiritual awarness within all of us. I truely believe this book is fictional and this did not happen in factual accounts as the book is trying to imply. I believe James Redfield is trying to convey a message and the message is a powerful one. I feel he had to get his message across through an action filled fictional adventure. Like most of the stories of the bible is filled with action, lust and adventure. I'm not trying to compare this book to the bible but I think he got his idea based on the bible's formula of interest. This book is great for those who are searching for knowledge of the spirit and a spiritual awareness within.I believe life is a journey not a destination especially a journey of ones' spirit.
