Summary: This book is my main Wiccan fact file, I love it.
Review: Scott Cunningham died in March 1992 but his books live on and help so many Wiccans with their religeon, that's the way it was for me anyway. I think that if you are a beginner you should definatly read this book. I'd never part with it.

Review: All I can say is that this book is very excellent. Cunningham explains fundamental wicca extremly well. A good choice for beginners. I especially liked the fact that he included a model book of shadows in his book to help us create our own book. BRAVO!

Summary: How about a constellation?
Review: This is the book that got me started on the path all those years ago. Scott was absolutely the finest Wiccan author ever, and no-one can ever top him. If you are serious about becoming a practicing Witch, forget that damnable "Teen Witch" book. That'll teach you a few cutesy spells and a fairy-tale version of the Craft. Scott's series of books on WitchCraft and magick in general are your best bets.

Review: Cunningham gives so much good info for anyone who wants to study wicca or just know about it. It's the best book i've read yet.I would recemmond it to everyone.

Review: Wicca for the Solitary Practitioner is by far the best book for anyone starting on the path of Wicca, or even for those who wish to know more about Paganism and Wicca as a whole. I defiantely recommend this book to everyone curious about nature oriented religions, esp. Wicca.

Review: This is one of the better books I've read concerning Wicca. This is also the best book I've found concerning solitary practice. Concise and easy to follow, this book instructs the reader on all s/he needs to know to get started when practicing with a coven is impractical and/or unwanted.

Review: This book explains the basics of Wicca, or Witchcraft, in easy to understand language, what is is, why it exists, and how-to guides. Magick is inherent in ALL of us through the power of visualization. The rituals of witchcraft help us to learn this skill and maintain focus to direct our personal energy into the world to manifest needed changes. This isn't make-believe, it's real and has been confirmed by our society's scientists. What we call Goddess and God are merely two aspects of the Earth and we align ourselves in sympathy with the Earth by performing rituals in her honor. Scott's book gives several basic rituals and chants to help us focus on this subject. Candles, herbs, stones, runes, and statues are all geared to strengthening our focus on directing our own personal energy. There is a bigger world out there that we cannot see, we just need to tap into it!
