Summary: P.T. Barnum would be pleased.
Review: Let us pray that Neale Donald Walsch does not mix up a batch of cool-aid for his followers. One who would find this concoction tasteful, would not hesitate to down a glass of Walsch's cool-aid.

Summary: FABULOUS - LIFE CHANGING - UNBELIEVBLE EXPERIENCE
Review: Never before have I read a book that provoked so much thought. Absolutely a life changing experience!!! Put many of my fears to rest as well as defining the pathway with which I need to walk. It is not about religion...it is about our relationship with GOD. Highly recommend for those searching for answers and those willing and those willing to take the time to think about what GOD has to say....he says ALOT!

Summary: A guy writes to god. god writes back. the guy learns stuff
Review: This was, for me, a life-changing book. Everyone should read it. The message is beautiful, whether or not you choose to believe that the author really did communicate with God. Every chapter is filled with insight to life. Just read it with an open mind; don't judge it--maybe unless you've read it all. I am a spiritual teenager, and i had no trouble reading it. This book just made sooo much sense. I suggest reading the entire trilogy, if you can handle it. Don't be discouraged by those who call this book blasphemy; no one says you have to believe what's in this book anyway. Just listen to your soul, your intuition, and you'll be ok. peace.

Summary: A poor reproduction.
Review: Neale Donald Walsch and his publisher have walked a very thin line with this work. It is surprising that the family of the late Helen Schucman, Mr. Bill Thetford, and Penguin Books are not suing them. Anyone, and I do mean anyone who has even read, A Course in Miracles, would award damages.

Summary: It banishes fear!
Review: Last year was one of strife, financial distress, cataclysmic change, cancer, untimely death of a beloved friend, and finally, nearly immobilizing fear about what the future might hold for me. Recognizing the fear, a relative recommended Book I of CWG. Reading it may well have saved my life, quite literally, because I was near the end of my tether. Who authored the book is immaterial to me because my heart immediately recognized the great love which illuminates every page. It banished my fear because I learned it wasn't a capricious "fate" which kept knocking me to my knees, but choices of my own soul which put me through my life's experiences. It freed my potential for joy because it taught me that no matter how badly I misstep, I cannot lose the love of my God or ultimate reunion with the Source of all life. Several readings of all three books later, I'm still gleaning gold with each rereading. Thank you, Neal, for having the courage to publish, and than You, God, for inspiring him.

Summary: FAITH-FULL, BOLD, ENCOURAGING (GOD FORBID, RIGHT?)
Review: It's so encouraging to know that not everyone in the world is deaf (to God). For a while, I was the only person I knew, that actually posessed the faith that all the religious finatics only preached about, even though they don't seem to believe that God blessed them with the capability to come to good, positive morals and values without the hippocritical teachings of religions. I'm so glad that this book is out there for God to lead those that want to hear him speak directly to them. Doesn't the bible say something about pride, judgement and persecution? Maybe the religious skeptics should review the bases for their own belief system (the bible) before commenting. I mean it's just one more contradiction to add to the list. I commend Mr. Walsch for speaking God's mind. Who am I to say that it isn't (God's mind he's speaking), especially when it seems what God has to say is so much more encouraging than that of any religion.

Summary: Faith is such a beautiful thing
Review: It really is a shame that there are so many who look for "proof" that Walsh talked to God, and define "proof" as something that coincides with the text of their faith. I never understood why anyone would try to bring "proof" into matters of "faith." By definition "faith" requires no proof. Proving that one's faith is the "right" one is an oxymoron.

Bravo to Mr. Walsh for believing that God didn't stop talking 2000 years ago, and that there are many "right" filters of God's Word.

Whether you believe him or not, it's hard to say that this message isn't beautiful. I believe we all search for unconditional acceptance from the day we're born. Why not just believe we have it to begin with? There's no need to worry about being separate from God. It doesn't get any better than that.

Rather than condemming him, you could maybe come to some realization that God reveals himself to different people in different manners. To deny God has that power and ability is to deny the true power of God.

Summary: Gives a new perspective to the New-Age
Review: Well, there will be Christains, Muslims and People of The Book who might find this book blasphemous. But who are we to decide what blasphemy is? This book explores the age-old wisdom that we all know but not always remember. And through that process also gives a new perspective for the New Age. Walsch may not be a prophet, nor does this book make tall claims to guide us. However, the singular achievement or some will say drawback, of the book is that the Fear of the God diminishes without in anyway affecting the belief. At the end of it however, it raises as many questions as it seeks to answer. And finding answers to those eternal questions is what Karma is all about I believe.

Summary: CWG or Bible
Review: I am half way thru the 1st book & I can already tell you that this book has become part of my life. I have already benefitted from so many parts of it. I am amazed that people are still saying to read & take the truth of the Bible over this book. I believe that parts of the bible are true, but I do have trouble believing that the whole of the Bible is the absolute truth. Maybe early on while the men were writing it, it was inspired by God, but surely today it can't be. Look at how many inacurate translations from Hebrew to English there are. AND would God still be telling us that sex is only for procreation today considering how hard it is for families...both parents having to work just to get by? Truth is & we all know these to be the truth, the Bible NEEDS to be updated for today & over the many thousands of years the bible teachings & the stories have been changed & interpreted to fit the needs of the churchs. Maybe CWG isn't the answer, but it sure isn't the antiquated Bible either.

Summary: Bunch a' Hooey
Review: This guy had a conversation alright but with whom? With himself? Or Satan? Probably the latter because he is the great deciever. And will truly try to subvert the true word of God if he can. If you are searching for answers look to the true word of God. The Bible is the word of God which this man contradicts throughout this book. I just pray the people who buy this book and are searching keep looking and find the Bible.
