Rating: Summary: NOT JUST A BOOK, AN EXPERIENCE! Review: I want to say that this book has begun to change my life. I have been buying multiple copies, just to give to people as gifts. I've been a police officer for twenty years,so I know about stress. This book has helped me to realize "self" I having never been especially religious, do feel without a doubt, that I am reading God's words. This book gives you a lot to think about. I have started using many of the books teachings in police situations. For example: A young man just lost his mother and was contemplating suicide. I talked to him about what this book says about death. That his mother never really dies, just changed form and went on to something wonderful. Well he didn't kill himself that night. Those of you who are thinking about buying this book, PLEASE don't hesitate, it's worth almost any price. Thanks...
Rating: Summary: Spiritual Growth Review: This book typically designates its meaning and intent clearly. Highly recommendable for spiritual growth. Also recommendable is title: The Third Time Is Now.
Rating: Summary: Spirituality is IN Review: Conversations With God speaks the truth. It's popularity is proof that towards the end of the millenium, Western Culture is finally waking up to the importance of spirituality in their lives. It's all over the place - books (Heaven Talks Back), music (Alanis Morissette), and movies (NOTHING - a straight to video classic that uplifts and inspires.)
Rating: Summary: AWESOME Review: This is definitely a book that awakens a persons inner awareness. I couldn't seem to put the book down at times. I wanted to feel more. Finally an easy to read explaination of the divinity that resides within ourselves as human beings. The book has brought new awareness of the possibilities of life. Very stimulating, a must read, and yet it's only the first of the three.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Would be better without the Copyright!! Review: This book is inspiring, challenging and beautiful. There is much here to ponder and awaken to. The book (as well as the following two volumes) have been of great value to me. My only problem with the book(s) - and it is slight - is that God/Goddess/All there is, would choose a format for message transmission that includes on the copyright page the legalistic and seemingly fear based, "All rights reserved. This book, or parts thereof, may not be reproduced in any form without permission." Oh well, perhaps its all part of that "working in mysterious ways philosophy. The book is excellent all the same. Who knows, perhaps future editions will say on the copyright page, something to the effect of..."Please duplicate this material as much as you want. We want the message of this book to get out unencumbered by the greed and protectionism of the legal and publishing professions." Besides, it would not be the first book, even in money crazed America, to do so!
Rating: Summary: "He who has ears, let him hear" Review: I actually read Conversations with God (book 1) before I ever read the Bible. I was spiritually blind when I read Conversations with God. Later, I discovered the Bible contains everything a person needs to know about life. It is the Truth and the Way (the Word of God). Matthew 13:9.
Rating: Summary: Thanks you God for speaking to me Review: I believe God speakes to us in many different ways and this book is just one of the many ways. This is the loving God I have come to know and believe since I dropped out of organized religion. I will reread this book many more time. Thank you God for having Lynn tell me about this book and nudging me to read it.
Rating: Summary: Challenging tradition Review: I really have to say, as a Christian, I had my reservations about this book. But once you let go of they way your are used to interpreting things, this book really is great. I'm on the second one now and looking forward to it. This book has actually become a supliment to my Bible reading! what a great inspiration.
Rating: Summary: Very inspiring Review: This book is a glorious revelation to me.It gives information on that which God is(Love),and what God is not(Fear). It should be read by everyone so that they can make their own decisions on life,God,organized religion etc. Thank You God and Mr. Walsch.
Rating: Summary: Expanded Wisdom Review: This book is for the expanding mind of wisdom and knows not the fear created by skeptic's and critics. Also in the same category is another good book called...The Third Time Is Now.
