Summary: Extraordinary
Review: Incredibly, I just finished another book with great resemblance. My thoughts are captured in the reality to God's meaning. Too much is going on around us to be ignored. I feel that God has his hand in this and something is to come that we best be ready for. If your faith in God exist, the message here is beautifully recieved. GWG is beautifully written. I also recommend, THE THIRD TIME IS NOW.

Summary: It'll Make You or Break You...
Review: What I find so intriguing is how polarized the reviewers seem to be about this book: If you love it, you REALLY love it. If you hate it, it's in the trash, often along with harsh words to accompany it.

I happen to be in the "Love" camp, not because of what anyone has written or told me about it, but because of what I felt as I was reading it. If feelings are the true language of the soul, then I heard a majestic chorus being echoed through mine as I absorbed what was being said.

I know I am not alone. And neither will you be, if you find the courage to open the pages, let the Spirit speak to you and with an open mind and brave heart, see the God so many of Us are *finally* re-membering.

So whether you decide to accept the Spirit of the message now--or later--God will be waiting and so will we ALL. Read the book. It'll make you--and break you--in the best possible way.

Summary: Out with the old in with the new!
Review: I loved Conversations With God. With the popularity of the such books as Left Behind Series by Tim F. Lahaye, Jerry B. Jenkins which foster so much malice and hate in the name of God, Conversations With God provides a breath of clean air.

Walsch provides some needed and beautiful concepts of God. I would also recommend the book An Encounter With A Prophet, which echoes Walsch's concepts while going one step further to explain where our erroneous concepts of God came from and why they can now be replaced.

Summary: CRITICS:YOU ARE NO BETTER THAN THOSE WHO CONDEMED JESUS!
Review: REMEMBER NOT ONLY DID THEY CRITICIZE JESUS BUT THEY CRUCIFIED HIM! I'm not saying that the author is on the same level as Jesus, but I believe he is a prophet. To the critics who call it the work of Satan, you are no better then those who condemed Jesus. The arrogance of today is that there are no prophets around anymore. That the only prophets are in the Bible. PLEASE, there are prophets all around us. Remember Jesus' Disciples were few, he had more who hated him then listened to his beautiful teachings. The sad thing is the people who Condemn this book say they follow Jesus but are doing the opposite of what he taught. Walsch might not be like Jesus but God spoke through him like he speaks through all of us. This book makes me even closer to God,Jesus and my Cristian upbringing. THANK GOD SOME OF US ARE LISTENING!

Summary: Conversations with Common Sense
Review: After poring over and highlighting half the book, I am still undecided on whether Walsch actually channeled God, a spirit, his subconcious, or whether he simply wrote a creative work, but it almost doesn't matter! This book makes more sense than almost any other book I've ever read. And at the same time, many of the ideas in it are highly controversial and seemingly contrary to the doctrines of many organized religions. This book will get you thinking, SERIOUSLY thinking! And that can never be a bad thing no matter what religion you are.

Summary: Another author out to make a buck and justify being selfish
Review: Scary stuff. God doesn't care what you do? Am I going to believe what one guy writes out of his head compared to the bible that has 60 some books by various authors written over hundreds of years and it all ties together? Do your research and you will see which is based on fact, not someones empty conversations with himself. If you want reality and facts consider getting "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel or "Know Why You Believe"

Summary: Stop The Madness!
Review: Give Me A Break! As a seeker of truth, I read Mr. Walsch'sbook with an open mind and heart... looking for somethinggreat. Unfortunately, what I found was much half-truth and new age hype. I did not give this book a second thought until I read the reviews on Amazon.com. My concern is the number of readers that feel this book is such a revelation.... This reveals that so many are indeed suffering... no "starving" for inner truth. Mr. Walsch has appealed to our need for self forgiveness... to our inner pain. Unfortunately there is no "easy path", no "quick fixes". Please don't waste your money on this book! Start first with "A Road Less Travelled" by M. Scott Peck. Then try "Awareness" by Anthony DiMello. Anything of greatness will stand the test of time. In 10 years, Mr. Walsch will be a distant memory!

Summary: Provide awareness of self and our place in God's plan
Review: I have connected to God through Christian based faith my entire life, while, at the same time, establishing ideals and opinions through my own experiences with my spirit, conscience, soul, whatever. This book paralleled so many of the very ideas I have come to form about my own spirituality, about organized religions, and the very existence of God. I personally have come to know God as the Creator of all things through nothing but love and compassion for His creation. I have always presumed that we, as humans, from the beginning of our existence have sought to establish laws and "reasons" to validify our own inability to "CHOOSE" to live in God's love and grace by creating scapegoats such as Satan (the devil made me do it). For those who insistently speak of God omnipotence, humans have certainly limited God and His power by creating a being in Satan that can undermine God's very creation through His creation. God, I firmly believe, inspired the authorship of the Bible, but, man may have missed the mark when either putting it to paper or while interpreting it for the masses. This book, having read it with a very open mind (as I have tried to live), has given me what I believe to be truthful insight to the way God desires us to live our lives, based not on fear but on love for each other as individual parts (images) of God, requiring that we take full and complete responsibility for the choices we make in discovering who we truly are. As three part beings (body, mind, and spirit) our bodies are capable of earthly things, our spirits capable of Godly things and our minds are usually the barrier. This book will help your mind become the bridge connecting body and soul.

Summary: Thou Shalt not Kill the Spirit of another
Review: The true source in knowing God is to live by His rules and to practice His love to understand each other. Sadly but true hyocrites are usually the first in line to cast the stone which creates a vision to destruct the minds of others at the cost of a good soul. "Thou shalt not KILL"...is not only the means toward physical harm...but also indicates the tongue which is in the form of a weapon. It's ammunition lies in the firing words of destruction. Knowing God is a deep..deep..deep connection from body and soul united one with God, and has no vacancy for hypocritical nonsense. Who know's ones heart and who can judge other than God himself? When Jesus died, He didn't leave anyone here to take his place. No one is perfect and everyone has a God given gift if they choose to accept it. I would also like to recommend :"The Third Time Is Now"

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: To the critics who judge:
Review: I found this book to be thought provoking and peace giving. To those who criticize it I say this: Countless people are being brought closer to God as a result of this reading. Sure there are those who will read it and interpret the words in such a way so as to justify their own poor choices. The same has been done with the Bibles teachings since it's creation. It doesn't mean that it shouldn't have been written. It doesn't mean that it shouldn't be read. It doesn't diminish the fact that many more people understand the words as they are truly meant. It is touching people lives and helping them to become more spiritual beings. It won't make anyone less spiritual! Concentrate instead on how you can help to move (shepherd) others onto the path of God and Christ and waste not your time judging the methods which others use to do so. Particularly those who are this successful.
