Summary: An amazing expression of spirtuality
Review: The first time I heard of this book, I was 22 and I imagined then that it was too advanced for me. Now at the age of 24, I have read three. I have decided that this happened to me because it was the right time in my life, when I needed to find the most uplifting and dynamic literature I have ever read. I was born in a small Baptist town and I remember that at the age of 13 I could no longer trust the teachings of the church. I absolutely refused to adhere to the ways of this religion. I knew it in my heart then that my feelings were different from what I had been taught to know as God.

As a young independant thinker, I believe that this book does not "teach" but inspires those who feel their soul is not satisfied.

I am grateful for the inspiration and feel closer to God than ever.

Summary: The Truth
Review: Yes the fount of all knowledge really is here. It is also written into the essence of every being if you just stop and listen to yourself. This is wisdom expressed with a lucidity and accessibility that is beyond misinterpretation. The world will literally change overnight when its mindset alters from one of greed to one of equality and compassion. The secret is easy...allow yourself to observe the truth and act on it. Not convinced? Heard it all before? The books (vols 1-3) will answer every question you can conceive of about the nature of the universe and all life. After having searched for truth over the years (and why the world is the way it is) it ends here with these works, and yet the search has just begun with this definitive word on the subject (and what subject could be greater?). Read them, understand them, listen and observe. They will even answer themselves as to any doubts you may have about their authenticity. Need I say more?

Summary: A searching Christian's view
Review: I've always had a lot of problems with "difficult questions" and religion hence I decided to read this book in an attempt to answer some of them.

I think the book strays too far from Biblical teachings and is also rather dangerous for anyone who is looking for excuses to do certain things that are "wrong".

If these were real teachings from God I do not think it would have taken this long before the Word was spread to the world.

I believe that there are certain matters that will not be reveled until the time is right and we as humans can never know everything until God has willed it so. Until then, we should just try to accept things as they are and live life with faith rather than rely on such teachings that are dangerous and morally dubious.

Summary: Changed my life
Review: This book is a MUST read. It is literally the experience of a lifetime. I can't even put into words how much this book changed my life. It will answer any questions you've ever had regarding, God, love, life, death, afterlife, work, money, politics, etc. I have bought several copies and given them out to everyone I know. I guarantee that anyone who reads this will be touched.

Summary: Finally, A Bottom-Line, No-Nonsense Approach to God
Review: Kudos to Neale Donald Walsh and for his publishers for having the courage to provide us with this book! What I loved about this book is that it doesn't proclaim to be the ultimate truth, but it does dare readers to create their own truths of who they are in every choice and decision that is made. From the cradle to the grave, that is really what we're striving to do anyway.

The audiobook was great! Ed Asner's voice portrayed God as a casual, everyday, fatherly New York type. This worked for me so well that I would have liked for him to have lent his vocal talents as God throughout the entire tape.

Summary: Great book - awful audio cassette
Review: The book Conversations with God and all the other volumes are very interesting and thought provoking. For those who were disinterested in God or were "turned off" by judgemental feeling from Him will definitely appreciate his books. The audio versions are awful due to the choice of readers (Ed Asner). I felt great sarcasm and judgement listening to these tapes and hope to return them to the store where I purchased them. I could NOT recomment the audio versions but encourage the purchase of the books.

Summary: Is the BIBLE 100% True?
Review: These books have helped me understand this question and many more curiosities of life. I recommend reading all 3 books before making a judgment of its truth. I too have studied under many religions and read The Holy Bible. I was left with many questions; Why would GOD send us to hell if he or she loves us? Why did he or she stop talking to his children (Us) if he or she loves us? Why would GOD create us as imperfect beings, make us follow perfect rules, and condemn us when we fail. Is there really a place called HELL? Why give us the gift of FREE WILL; yet send us to a burning eternity of hell when we make so-called wrong decisions. Is the Bible true? Especially, if man translated and have rewritten its scriptures (opportunity for error). These books have answered these and many other countless of questions I've felt strong beliefs about. I'll ask everyone to read these books with an open mind and seek your own truth, but considered the truth you've always known could possibly be false. These books have brought me to a whole new level of conscious awareness. GOD loves everyone equally no matter what we decide to experience in our lives.

Summary: Conversation With God-Book 1
Review: I found this book quite by accident (although there are no accidents!) at a bookstore where I paid twice what I could have got it for at Amazon (won't do that again!). I devoured the book in just a few hours...I could not put it down! The most amazing thing, and something that I have not read in any other review, is that I recognized God's voice! It sounds ludicrous, but I know it was God speaking because it was all so familiar to me! The whole book confirmed beliefs I'd held for ages, and led me one step further by expanding and explaining. I have recommended this book to virtually everyone I know, and the feedback thus far has been fantastic! Since reading this book, I have reviewed my life up to this point and I can see clearer than ever before God's continual involvement and presence. The week after reading this book, I heard His voice almost non-stop. No matter where I went, no matter what I was doing, He had something to say. To the author: Don't let the critics discourage you, the message is getting out!

Summary: Accountability?
Review: I have read all of the "Conversation" books now, and I love them all. I definitely believe God inspired many things through Neale. However, there is one major area that I have my doubts about, and that is the lack of accountability for our actions on earth, and God's statements that he has no preference for what we do or don't do here. I have just finished reading "Journey of Souls" by Michael Newton, which is equally as thought provoking as the "Conversation" books, and they seem to dispute this completely. Journey of Souls is written by a psychologist who hypnotized people back into past lives and also had them relive their experiences in "heaven" between lives. They all reported the same thing. Souls are imperfect. Our lives spent over and over on earth are to do good and to learn and to strive for perfection. Accountability for one life comes in the next incarnation on earth and is a mutual agreement between soul and "Spirit guide" or "teacher." I would recommend reading this book before completely dismissing the idea of "Accountability" as Neale puts forth in his books, as the consequences can be disastrous if we truly believe there is nothing we need to do. Conversations With God has definitely been a major impact on the way I think about God, but so has "Journey of Souls" impacted the way I think about myself and what I am doing here. I think we are definitely "responsible" for what we do here.

Summary: Affirmation of truth!
Review: I have been looking for something more for a few years. I had contemplated many issues covered by this book, but wondered if I was actually discovering truth. This book is affirmation that God had been revealing the truth all the time, I just had to listen.
