Summary: Part Buddhism
Review: The book is a part buddhism and part New Age, you will learn a lot

Summary: Helped me graduate from religion!
Review: The truth will tick you off, then it will set you free!

This book helped me immensely in my recovery from Mormonism and Christianity in general. As someone very much in love with religion, but an ardent truth seeker, this book was amazing. By the time I finished book 3, I was in tears. There is a part of me that simply "knew" the concepts were true -- however painful it was to embrace them. I have even begun to have similar dialogs to find answers to my own personal questions.

Thank God!

Bottom line is that this book will really open you up to some wonderful ideas and principles. It is up to you to decide if the book is for real (or if it even matters).

If you are religious and have an open mind (don't bother if ya don't), prepare to have your world rocked!

Summary: Led astray
Review: A wise man once wrote, "Why search for the truth within you, for you are the one confused." And this man is confused. Even as you read about his failed marriages and other disappointing encounters we see a man who is searching for the truth, yet he is reaching, and reaching until he grasps onto whatever he possibly can, which in his case still remains weird. I ask the honest reader of this book, "If we are gods," as the author implies, "and we just need to come to a realization of the truth, then what type of gods are we that we lack the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to arrive at the truth instantaneously." I would only recommend this book to people that need to know how to pray for people that are as misled as the author and those who form a religion around his writings.

Summary: Changed my outlook in life, completely!.
Review: This book has taught me an absolute profound understanding of what life is all about. I now have become a very perceptive person on things in general and on decision I have to make down to menial ones. Miraculously, good things, beautiful things, happy things, lovely things have happened so far,and I feel so gratified to have discovered this book while visiting New York 2 years ago. This book really teaches you in simple language how one should look at life and I found real substance and not words where in the end, all forgotten as there was nothing really outstanding. I really thank you Mr. Walsch, as you are genuine and not one of those famous and frequent guests on talk shows. However, I watched you on Larry King but I wish it was for a full hour as I was just absorbing your every word. Thank you and stay genuine! . ........

Summary: How does it make you feel?
Review: I've read the book and the editorials here. They really mimic the book, in that each reader will find his/her own path via the way they feel, if they truly listen to their feelings. The way it made me feel, after going to Baptist school from grade shcool through highschool, and living in fear and guilt for the past 15 years was to face exactly who I Am and What I Wanted To Be. I found a God of Love and He is me. Mr. Walsh is just a messenger, you will notice that after reading this book, you will see the messages everywhere (seek and you will find) and the message is simple: that is God is Love. To the doubters, I find it interesting that Christ forgave the very persons who crucified Him. If he forgave them they did not go to 'hell', do you think for a minute, that He is going to send us into damination?

Summary: The religious right needs to "enlighten up"
Review: This is a wonderful book. It is fascinating and thought provoking. Why do people resist the possiblity that the established works of centuries past cannot be updated? That's silly and uneducated thinking. Read the book and keep an open mind. The world doesn't revolve around ONE religion.

Summary: My Conversation
Review: I have tried to keep an open mind in life, and this book is a perfect example of what an open mind can bring. Whether you are sure in your beliefs or you are trying to find your heart, this book is a powerful look at a unique view on life and existance. My life has changed since I have read it.

Summary: Oh my God!
Review: How silly. It's amazing that so many take it seriously. Walsch sounds like a teenager trying to figure out why things are the way the are. But he should know better, there are no answers (except maybe 42, as Douglas Adams might had suggested). From the raging zealots that declare the book is a work of Satan to the spiritually distressed that see it as a "life changer", I could find no reviews that suggested that, maybe, the answers are up to us, or even accepting that sometimes there are no answers.

Summary: Awakening of my Mind
Review: Clearly the most influential book I have ever read. Fact or fiction, it isn't really important, I am gaining control of my life after years of problems. The first book is so simple yet contains so much that it warrants rereading several times. Every time I read it there is more to gain. I would recommend it as reading for anyone who has an open mind.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This book is without doubt my second favorite Spiritual book. Illusions, being first. This is a very good book. He asks tough questions of God, and the answers are fantastic, not in the least bit vague.. Divinely Inspired.. Unfortunately.. This is the only one of the 3 CWG books that i would recommend.
