Rating: Summary: Get ready to think "outside the box" Review: I know this has been said many times before, but this book will make you think. It is one of those books that can be read quickly because you are anxious to see what God has to say. I have started rereading it recently and am finding ideas that I hadn't noticed before. Walsch presents a different way to look at your life, your purpose and God's purpose. You will go through periods of being surprised, upset, confused and delighted. Make sure to read it all the way through before making a final judgement. It truly rocks the boat.

Rating: Summary: Enlightening in Every Way... Review: A great book to read and approach in an open mind conversation with God. Touches the basics of life, the existance of God, and how each one of us is a God in his own special way. Open your eyes and allows you to enter a conversation you have always dreamt of having but never had the courage to do so. Personally I have found this book so enriching, the logic is there, the explanations are clear, it could be a little complicated to read, but worth all the time and effort to be understood in its own special written way... Not just another commercial spiritual book to put on the shelf but a book to be read more than once for sure... An experiece to go through and reflect on for sure...
Rating: Summary: Enlightening Insight Review: Truly astounding. This conversation gives insight into your Self, and answers questions you didn't know you had. Truly enjoyable, and a worthwhile read.
Rating: Summary: Conversations with God : An Uncommon Dialogue (Book 1) Review: Mr. Walsch is another 50 year old (married 4 times!) who is cashing in on his own version of God. Like so many talk show hosts who think all roads lead to God, he is promoting just another of these New Age religion cults... Since so many people think these days that they can reinvent God without ever opening the bible, it makes sense that this man is making millions off of selling this sort of garbage. It is sad to see so many people get misled by this instead of reading the actual Living Word of God. If you want to read a bestseller that offers a lot more clarity and hope, borrow a good bible FIRST.
Rating: Summary: We Are One Review: Our planet is facing a great challenge now. I believe that the Walsch books have been given to us to help change how we live. We Are All One is not just a beautiful concept...we are invited to live this greatest of Truths in every moment of our lives. Unless we do this, I believe that we cannot survive as a species. Each of us has the opportunity to demonstrate with our lives the Oneness that we are, and to re-mind everyone else that, although we can be different, we can never be divided.
Rating: Summary: Inspirational insight Review: I read others reviews and was amazed at those who chose to look at the writings of Walsch and decide they are blasphemous or written with the sole purpose of making money. But I guess I really shouldn't be, since throughout history people have denied credibility of the sacred books of the all but their own religion, as well as the words written by the great scientists, astrologers and philosophers. Through the words spoken by God and written by Neale Donald Walsch, God revealed in a clear and concise way, that those of us that accept these as truths, will gain a peace and understanding that can and will change our lives. The words of God written through Walsch are all about loving and accepting yourself as created in His image, and in so doing you will love and accept ALL others unconditionally, as God accepts and loves us ALL unconditionally. For those who would rather see the separatism that has led to the hatred most recently manifested in New York or at the Pentagon, this book probably isn't for you.
Rating: Summary: An excellent book. Review: I was initially attracted to this book as a way to gain insight on the questions and probems I had about religion and god. Raised a baptist, I gradually came to recognize many hipocracies, leaps of faith, and even down right mysticism, in Christianity. I began searching within for an answer to these questions as I believe we each have a personal connection to god. Doing this I was able to answer all of my questions. I was amazed and shocked while reading this book as Mr. Walsch not only explained the exact questions and problems I had independently identified, but told me what I had already told myself. One thing I realized after reading this book is that I believe his Title to be wrong... I don't think this is an Uncommon dialog, but a very common one. One that Mr. Walsch had the courage to share. I do not, and do not recommend, taking this book to be the direct and exact word of god however for it was written by a human. Likewise for the Bible, Koran, Talmud, etc. In fact, there are a few areas where I disagree with Mr. Walsch. Nevertheless, this is a valuable book that will spiritually benefit anyone.
Rating: Summary: Just some thoughts from another human Review: To all those who may condemn this book, I urge caution. Granted this is the work of a human being, and as human beings, upon our reading of this, we automatically interpret the words in our own mind. Realize that even the Bible, Koran and other religious works are written in the same manner as this...with words on paper. Therefore, who is one to say that this book is any less relevant than the aforementioned texts. I feel that this book was written by Mr. Walsch as a way to hopefully help others realize how God has been relevant to him. It is the absolute word of God for Mr. Walsch (and I am finding for myself as well). If one reads carefully, it can be found that in CWG, God expresses the fact that he talks to everyone, in infinite ways, we choose not to listen most of the time. For an "agnostic" person like myself, this book was extremely revealing. I would recommend this book to anyone who opens their mouth to decry the beliefs that others hold. Before casting the first stone, read this book and realize, that if you truly believe that we are the likeness of God, then Jesus (who is wonderfully elaborated on in CWG) was right on when he said, "Whatever you do to the least of these my brother, you do to me", and you also do to yourself. Excellent book, extremely thought-provoking, and life-changing
Rating: Summary: Conversations with Yourself Review: You do you think you are that you can call yourself a God. Where do you get the authority that you can tell your readers that they can call themselves a God. P.S. Read the Bible, Satan is a God.
