Summary: thanks for the dialogue
Review: It begins and ends right here. The truth of it all is found between the covers. No need to search any further...the truth is always evident. If you are open to receive this wonderous message, it will transform your life. So get out of your own way, put aside what everyone else has told you about God and listen with your heart and the truth shall set you free. Once and for all, have your own experience with God and not take other people's words for it. There's nothing to do...just read and ask to understand. You will.

Summary: Not a Christian Book!
Review: I found this book in a Christian bookstore, and was shocked to find that in many places it downright contradicts the Bible (which it refers to as "religious mythology") with phrases such as "who said Jesus was perfect anyway." For anyone who is thinking of buying this as a Christian book, think again. The "god" who is apparently talking in this book is not the God of the Bible, but a more Eastern idea of god.

Summary: conversations with Walsch
Review: In this day and age, when god doesn't seem to answer, It is easier to create your own (could be argued we have done this since the dawn of man), Walsch has: his own interpretations of philosophies and religion, quotes and misquotes, politics neatly wrapped up into a rhethorical essay that because he is talking to god, he is right, truely he is god of this book. If there is nothing to discover why do we have to discover what we are not to know what we are. Words are useless? Why write a book.

This is pop religion. Easy going, nothing is wrong unless you make it wrong. sugar coated version of the world. If your thoughts attract wrongs, say that to the girl raped, the guy beaten up for his wallet, the couple who lost their child. These are very real tragic events, not metareligious utterings.alot of positive reviews come from disgruntled christians tired of rules and threats of hell. Why you need this book to allow you to do whatever you like is anybodies guess. Afterall you are what you are, you already know what you know, you are god and not so he,meaning I,could know myself in what I have and have not created. [Dang] I should write a book like this and make money.

Summary: Uncommon Dialogue
Review: This is one of those books that gets you thinking and questioning. And I think that's a good thing.
Whether it is "god" speaking to him or his subconscious mind, it doesn't really make a difference. Everyone has the voice of wisdom that speaks to them, call it god or your conscience or inner dialogue or the angel on your shoulder. I think Neale just tapped into this source, and I'm glad that he decided to share it.

I read the book with a grain of salt (as I do everything) and took from it what I wanted and needed at the time. I don't think you have to agree with everything in a book to find the value in reading it.

Summary: The Unbelievable Truth
Review: I've read the Bible, the Book of Mormom, and even dabbled in Buddism. But in 1997 I read "Conversations" in two days, Immediatley bought book two, and book three when they were released. There is Magic in these words, and I believe they are God-inspired, just as the Bible was. For nay-sayers, this may have been what the original Bible "sciptures" could have read if it was not for King James and and various Vatican priest who edited over 40% of original scriptures.
If you let your mind free of pre-convived notions of "God." The words in this book will lift you out of Earths'gravity, and into "heavens arms." Both scientifictly and spritually this book makes sense. Grand Paridgms that the souls live in. The bible doesn't even come close to to explaining the meaning of life and the creation of life itself as this book does, and it holds up on the science end as well.
All "religous" people will dismiss this as garbage, or New Age garbble, but it is only becuase they have been brain washed into believing thiers is the ONLY way, a way which doesn't even make sense on the smallest level, i.e. geographically. ( A man that lives in the Jungles of Cambodia won't go to heaven becuase he wasn't baptized, he is punished for being born in a area who has never even heard of Jesus Christ.)
Some will say this contradicts the Bible, but the Old Testament condradicts the New, the reason being the new tesatment was written numerous years after the Old, just as this is written numerous years after the New. Human's spirtuality changes as fast as time does. I say this is the Third Testament.
If you read all five of Neale Walschs' books you'll never hurt yourself or another one of "gods" creations again. You will live, I mean really live life how you were mean't too, you will live life how you dreamed of, the dream you had before you came to earth. Blessed Be.

My thoughts.

Summary: PLEASE, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS "god"!
Review: Don't waste you hard earned money! This book is utter nonsense written to swindle and mislead the weak-minded.

The "god" of this book is simply THE RHETORIC OF EASTERN MYSTICISM, which is ironic since that particular 'god' is an impersonal force that could not communicate with anyone. The whole concept of this book is as idiotic as saying you could have a conversation with electricity.

The oxymoron of 'ABSOLUTE RELATIVISM' is strongly preached throughout the book. There is no separation of right and wrong or good and evil. THE AUTHOR EXPECTS US TO PARK OUR BRAINS IN NEUTRAL and accept that the most wicked mass murders, serial rapists, and hate breathing racists are only 'bad' because we 'think' they are bad, not because they really are evil. This 'god' would have us believe that there is no difference between a Mother Teresa and an Adolph Hitler.

In an ever increasing age of moral relativism, which is a large reason for much of the current financial market woes, HELLO, it never ceases to amaze me the depths to which publishing companies will stoop to print any trash that can make a buck for them.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BOOK, AS IT WON'T TELL YOU A THING ABOUT THE TRUE, PERSONAL CREATOR WHO LOVES YOU!

Summary: Unadulterated heresy
Review: This series is New Agism co-opting Judeo Christian doctrine. This is not God answering questions because anyone who understands the truth of the Bible knows God would not answer many of the questions with such morally relative pablum.

I warn all Christian (and non-Christian) parents to avoid this series at all costs.

Summary: This book changed my life
Review: I personally found this book very helpful in a time a great confusion. I was on my way to giving up on spirituality and God altogether, because i could not beleive that God could love me for who i wanted and chose to be. I grew up in a very strict relgious family and was taught that God didn't love homosexuals. Now that i have been able to come to terms with that beleif thanks to this book and other factors i have now been able to grow immensly spiritually.

Summary: Conversations with (WHICH) God?
Review: One thing becomes appallingly apparrent when you begin reading this tripe, and that is that the author hasn't the faintest clue as to who the God of the Holy Bible is. I speculate as to whether or not the author has ever opened the pages of Scripture to realize that God never commands us to feel Him, or use our experiences to understand Him; rather it is a continual pursuit to know Him. And we begin to know Him through the WORDS of Scripture. This book falls right into the abysmal decadence of such other titles as "God Chaser's" (another book destined to reduce God to a fabrication of our feelings).
If you are a Christian or someone who seeks God, stay away from this bbok and others like it and get back to the original word of God...The Holy Bible!

Summary: Complete Garbage
Review: Let me summarize Mr. Walsch's entire moral belief system in one sentence: "there are absolutely no absolutes"

Obviously, such a statment violates the fundamental philosophical law of non-contradiction, therefore, you can say with 100% certainty that Neale is wrong.

That this guy would have the audacity to say there is no such thing as right and wrong and that fully grown adults actually belive something so rediculuous after 9/11. Teenagers at Columbine blowing away innocent children and Mr Walsch has the gall to say "there is no forgiveness, because there is nothing to forgive" (Conversations with God for Teenagers) and that "you are perfect". What kind of twisted thinking goes on inside someone's head to turn a blind eye to evil. There is so much pain, suffering, greed, malice, hate in this world and here you have a guy saying that the entire concept of forgiveness is completely fabricated by humans (God does not forgive, according to Mr Walsch because all people, including Osama bin Laden, are perfect and righteouss in His eyes.) What we have here is a symptom to a larger problem. Fully grown adults who need to ease their guilty conscience enjoy the tingles of hearing someone tell them "you are PERFECT" and fall victim to this pseudo-intellectual jibberish and slap the word "inspirational" on a gargantuan heap of [junk]. The best use for the pages of this book would be toilet paper...
