Summary: Nothing new, but accurate
Review: This book has all the right stuff in it. It was written at least 75 years ago but current New Age material is made up of these same concepts (See Sonia Choquette or Julia Cameron) It's concise and I liked that. The major drawback is the heavy Christian flavor. There are many quotes from the Bible and explanations of them. Try as I might, I have never felt true inspiration from Bible verses or Christian teachings. They always have to be explained to me. So, for me, personally, the Christian stuff just doens't add to the substance.

I am a Christian and found that it it aligns well with the teachings of Christ. And would think that it would be useful to most of the pupils of the many flavors of spirituality. Summary: I now see the Divine Spirit in everyone I meet
Review: This book truly opened a door for me, a door that looks out on to a wonderful world. I have read the book three times and feel my spirit soaring higher each time.I read alot, but "The Game of Life and how to play it" , has truly changed my life. I highly recommend that everyone read it!!!

Summary: Gives perfect answers for living today
Review: This book was given to me by a friend of a daughter, "because I know you like games". I do like games, and thought it was about backgammon, etc. When I read it, I could not put it down and could hardly believe this marvelous little jewel of a book that gives so many answers to life's questions. The fact that it came to me that way was affirming of Florence Shinn's revelations. The book came to me in 1976, I have read and re-read it, given it away, it is vital to some of my daughters, and I marvel at Florence Shinn for her wisdom and her ability to address human concerns with the Divine Answers. I recommend it to everyone to keep by their bedside and make it a part of their life. Thank you, Florence!
