Summary: A masterful book that will invoke great change in its reader
Review: As a certified Master Life Coach myself, I welcome this amazing book. It guides the reader in the process as they learn to dig deep and connect to their true self. It is one of the best self help books I have read. If you want accelerated growth, and if you want to make real change happen quickly, this book will assist you in doing that.
I have found some new skills within myself and have begun using some of these techniques in my own practice.

This is truely an amazing book that takes a better approach than most self help books and you will experience results.

Summary: Life-changing reading!
Review: By page 20, I knew this was a very special book. Rhonda has a familiar voice, speaks like a friend who cares enough to give it to you straight, and gives us the very rare of gift of realistic action-oriented solutions and freeing thought processes. One particular gem turned a big switch on for me, and I've made tremendous, brave steps that in turn (and this is the best part) have given all of my relationships a new strength and comfort level. This is the first book I've read where the insights stay with you. There's no going back to a life of fear and worry. Thanks, Rhonda. You're a treasure.

Summary: I changed my life!
Review: I feel like by the end of this book Rhonda (Britten) was the best friend that I had never met. She hits to the core with facing the fears that hold each of us back. This is, honestly, the only book that I have read, to the end, and applied to my life. She goes beyond the normal "self-help" books. She makes you do the work and that is why it is successful. Her story of facing fear is most heartening and inspirational beyond belief. Her life's tribulations are what made her today. To be able to take the fear out of your life and use it to benefit your life is truly amazing insight! A "must read" for anyone that truly wants to be true to themselves and do what they really want to do - in all parts of their life! Thank you Rhonda, from the bottom of my heart.

Summary: What an awesome book!
Review: I just love this book. I first heard of Rhonda on the tv show "Starting Over." All I can say is WOW! My life has changed so much. I learn new things about myself everyday. I am no longer run by fear. I am truly filled with joy. I can now dance down the hallway with out feeling like a looser. Thank you Rhonda for giving me my life back and for teaching me how to be fearless! This book has saved my life.

Summary: Fear Is The Enemy!!
Review: I really loved this book. (If you're not into self-help books or interested in personal empowerment, you can stop reading now.) Britten is a life coach and radio host, and her big idea is that fear holds us back--fear keeps us in bad relationships with men, stuck in bad jobs, together with friends who don't support us, under the thumb of abusive parents/siblings/ mentors, etc. Britten analyzes where those fears come from, explains how to understand them and offers a plan of attack for overcoming them. This book features an accelerated 30-day plan, like a boot camp for self-improvement. She's practical and not overly analytical--good, clear, helpful thinking. I'd also like to recommend a book I got as a Xmas present, "I Sleep At Red Lights: a True Story of Life After Triplets," by Bruce Stockler, a touching and hilarious story of what happens when a man decides his kids are more important than his career. Nothing in common with "Change Your Life" except it's an amazing and funny story about how kids change your life for the better--and teach you who you are. I'm still single with no kids and now I really want to have my own brood.

Summary: Another Insightful Book by Rhonda
Review: Rhonda has done it again. She is letting us into her world to help us once again master fear. This is challenging work, but once doing it and continue to do it, I know that anything is possible. It is easier to just sit back and watch life pass by, but I choose not to live that way any longer. Change is definitely challenging but worth the journey. Thanks Rhonda for another great book to help me live my dreams.

Summary: useful book, yet not comprehensive nor groundbreaking
Review: This was the very type of book I was trying to avoid to buy when looking for a self help book. A book that did not have any extra ordinary insights into life (ei. The Celestine Prophecy, for example) and had a clever title that left me dissapointed in it's content. And the author only looks at the psychologial aspect of fear, not looking at the medical causes of fear (one possible source is amalgam/mercury poisoning for example). Therefore the book is simply not comprehensive nor is it the best book for everybody.
Still, it is a useful book. The book's format makes it such that it almost feels like you are talking to the author herself and she to you. Sometimes you have to wonder at the thinking abilities of the author though. If she thinks that manipulating people by staying in a car to get others to do what you (and your mom) want to do is cooperation, then maybe she needs to refer herself to the dictionary. The book's writing style is very easy (written at the 8th grade level or lower I think). So the reading should go fast for most people. This book should appeal to many women I think. There are certain emphasis on concepts that I think many women would enjoy. Not saying that men won't find this book inspirational either, but just from my experience, it seems that this book is geared more toward aspects of life that most women would find important (like passion, or the use of different words for different effects on one's being).
If you are the type of person who is honest with their life and self and know what they want out of life and have your act together, then this book is not for you. I suspect that the majority of poeple will still benefit from this type of psychoanalysis that is found within the book. One of the major concepts is to "be honest" with yourself. Another is to be "fearless". And still another is to change your viewpoint about how you handle situations with different people to better yourself and your situation. Just don't expect to find anything that you couldn't find if you went to your local (competant) psychologist or psychoanalist. A good book, but if you are seaker of groundbreaking concepts and knowledge, then this is probably not for you.
