Review: I was recently on a pilgrimage to Rome. My pilgrimage director was so atrocious, had I not taken this wonderful book with it's simple guides on charity, patience, and kindness, I would certainly have killed her. The simple pledges, and easily applied steps, helped me not only hold my tongue, but led me to enjoy what could have been an otherwise unbearable experience(...even though the surroundings were spectacular!) If you're serious about improving your daily relations with the people you deal with, you have to read this book!

Summary: A Truly Great Spiritual Book
Review: This book is hands down the best spiritual book I have ever read. Just about every page has a nugget of wisdom worth highlighting. This is the type of book you can read again and again, and still get something out of it each time. You can read it cover to cover, or a little each day as a daily meditation.
While there are many spiritual books about various topics such as suffering, prayer, etc., this book is truly unique in its focus on kindness. Reading this book will definitely help you become more Christ-like - certainly Jesus was kind, and this book helps you see others as Jesus sees them.
Father Lovasik is Catholic, but people of any faith would gain tremendous insight from this book. This is a great book that everyone should read.

Review: This book should not be read as a means to prevent murder. (See review below!) Much more help than this book is needed for that penchant. But if you want a book to clarify for you your shortcomings, and give you practical, simple advice on how to overcome them, this is your book. At first glance the advice seems simplistic and superficial, but the deeper you get into the book, the more you realize you are getting life altering advice. Reading the book is easy...it's a "lite read". Applying the book to your life will become a vocation.
