Review: When I was thinking of buying this Bible, I found that the information given was a bit inadequate and confusing, so I'm writing this review so that you can know just what it is that you're getting. I got the Hebrew-Greek Key Word Study Bible in NIV. What it is is an NIV text in English with introductions at the beginning of each book, footnotes, NIV text notes, NIV cross-references, and Kohlenberger numbers, with grammatical codes and their explanation, a guide to transliteration of the Hebrew and Greek alphabets, lexical aids, a scripture index, the NIV concordance, and Kohlenberger's Dictionaries of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek, attached at the end. How it works is, in the text many of the words in each verse have a number next to them. You can look up that number in the appropriate dictionary to find the original language word corresponding to it and a full definition of that word. Also, many of these words also have more lengthy and detailed explanations in the Lexical Aids section, for more insight. Also included is an index that cross-references between Kohlenberger's and Strong's number system, so you can also look them up in Strong's if you have it. It's really helpful and interesting; I like it! =)
