Summary: AMAZING Story, great book
Review: This book is definitely one of the best books I have ever read! A great, true story, about how God blesses those who will just do as He calls us to do!

I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is struggling with God's call on their life, and wondering if God will be faithful to you, if you are faithful to Him!! (He will!!)

Summary: This book is one that you don't want to put down.
Review: This book is one that you don't want to put down. Travel with Bruce Olson on this remarkable adventure. At 19 the Lord called Bruce Olson to be a missionary to the Motilone Indians in South America. With nothing more than what he had with him, Bruchko (that is what the indians called him) went into the jungle to bring Christianity to a Stone Age Tribe. Bruchko is a book that will bring tears to your eyes and make you want to jump for joy.

Summary: Bruchko by Bruce Olson
Review: This book is so awesome! Well, if you want to read a great testimony how God can use one individual, this book is for you. Olson's faith is astounding. He didn't want to be a missionary, but God told him and showed him otherwise.
I am a slow reader and this is the first book I've ever finished in one day because I couldn't put it down. This is definitely one of the best books I've ever read (the Bible is #1!).

Summary: Awesome
Review: This is a remarkable TRUE story of one man's courage and dedication to his calling. I thoroughly enjoyed reading of Olson's adventures.

It is important to note that Olson was able to reach the hearts of natives in South America by treating them with respect. He did not look down on them or render them "primitive". His goal was never to "civilize" them; rather, he wanted to teach them about Jesus.

I commend Bruce Olson on a job well done and a book well written!

Summary: One of the best books I've ever read outside the Bible
Review: This is a riveting story of a young man who was so passionate about winning lost tribes for Jesus Christ that he plunges himself into the work and immerses himself into the culture. You have to pinch yourself to remember that this is a true story. It's so outstanding and so unbelievable that one man endured so much for Christ. I kept thinking of the words of God in Acts 9: "I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: This is one of the most moving books I have read. I highly recommend this to everybody.

Summary: Caveat Emptor
Review: To paraphrase a wise and famous publisher, "The biggest problem with Christians today is their lack of interest in the truth."

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Rare Insight into Faith and Religion
Review: What impressed me about this book was not the author or the storytelling, but the story itself. The author seems to have taken an enormous leap of faith without the typical grandeur of doing "a great work for God." The man became one of the people before presuming to "convert" them. I would recommend this book for anyone who is curious how ANY religious truth can cross a daunting cultural barrier. Anyone who holds an extreme position for or against evangelism should read this account. Anyone who is looking for a complete view of world religion should check out this book. It is not just for Christians.
