Summary: If you know Jesus Christ, you need to know and walk in this!
Review: The vision depicted in this book, like the Bible, was inspired by the Spirit of God and spoken to (written for) the believing heart. Just as the bible, it is pure foolishness to those whose hearts and minds are not being daily renewed by the same Spirit.

Oftentimes it becomes necessary to limit God's voice to human language and imagery. This process is a haughty and risky one because it supposes on some level, that God thinks as we do. Rick Joyner, like Francis Frangipane, Frank Peretti and some others, has allowed God to so richly cultivate the conversational nature of their relationship as to give vivid, accurate likeness to the original impartation of the vision itself. Shortcut: It doesn't lose much in the translation.

As a last-days trumpet in the Body of Christ, Joyner is faithful to the vision, and obedient to the Father in proclaiming the Church's wake-up call. God is speaking by this vision to whosoever will hear, rejoice and follow. It's refreshing and invigorating to be able to read and receive such a message.

If you've ever read This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, Hind's Feet on High Places and other such allegorical depictions of the believer's walk, The Final Quest is right there driving to heart a clear understanding that even though we're in this world, it's God's victory over the world's darkness positioning us to endure. Lower is better. Prayer is necessary. Willingness to be changed, essential. The motivating hope is that as we are changed through humility and divine direction, others might see Jesus and live! The greatest realization is that WE DO NOTHING but trust, and He does it ALL. It's all about God - His plan, His mercy, His Son, and our desitny in Him.

The entrance of these inspired words unveils His plan, makes you grateful for His mercy, enlarges your love for the life exchange of His son, and boldly reveals your destiny in Him.

Summary: THE 3RD MOST REMARKABLE BOOK I'VE EVER READ.
Review: I LEAVE THE NUMBER ONE POSITION OF COURSE TO THE BIBLE. THE SECOND POSITION GOES TO THE SEQUEL OF THIS BOOK, THE CALL. AT PRESENT I HAVE PURCHASED APPROX. 20 OF THESE BOOKS AND GIVEN THEM AWAY. I WISH I HAD THE MONEY TO PURCHASE SEVERAL BOXES OF THEM. EVERY PERSON I HAVE GIVEN ONE TO HAS HAD THEIR LIFE SO IMPACTED, THE CHANGE IS VISIBLE. BUT BE FOREWARNED...YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT YOU LEARN HERE AND IT'S NOT FOR THE "ARM CHAIR" COMFORTABLE CHRISTIAN.

Summary: Words can't describe!
Review: As I read this book, I felt like I was actually experiencing what I was reading. I feel that this vision was inspired by God and should be shared with everyone. As a believer in Christ, I am now aware of several things that are happening around me in the spiritual realm and see the world in a totally different perspective. I would suggest this book to anyone who is really seeking guidance and wisdom from God.

I am looking forward to the continuation of this great quest!!!

Summary: Taking on the full armour of God so that you are prepared...
Review: It's later than you think brothers and sisters. This is a very insightful allegory (vision) into what principalities and darkness we are facing as we move the Kingdom of God into the lives of the lost in these last days. Ask the Holy Spirit for guidance as you read this very insightful and helpful vision. May we all answer the call to be prepared for the "Final Quest"!

Summary: Just what the church needs to hear!
Review: I must admit that though I believe in the prophetic I am very leary of anything which claims to be prophecy. There are too many false prophets in the world today. In this book, however, Rick Joyner speaks the heart of God. This book spoke to me in a voice of conviction and confirmation. In this book Rick Joyner has brought to light many truths we need to accept in our spirtual walk and in the unity of the Church. Certainly not a replacement of God's word but definitely a worthwhile eye opener.

Summary: Great Deception in vivid color!
Review: This spectacular book is simply that-"spectacular" Doesn't matter if it is in truth, but it sure is spectacular! Several questions for those who read the book. What is the quest? What is the mountain? What is the battle for? Who is fighting? When is this battle? There are a myriad of questions I could ask, but a Bible scholar ought to have hackles on their necks with this one. But, so much of the church is "feeling" the spectacular instead of plowing the truth. My description of this book is the same as found in the book when the "quester" finds himself walking with faith hope and love but not walking with wisdom any longer. Those who read the book should be alarmed at this prospect. If this book is placed beside the Bible, you can't read both in agreement. God help us if all we end up with is the top of the mountain only to go back down to try again.

Summary: Life-changing
Review: This was the most life-changing book I have ever read in my Christian walk. If you want to be challenged and strengthened with a fresh vision you must read this book. My husband and I bought multiple copies and passed them around. It was too good to keep to ourselves! By the way, part II, "The Call" has been released.

Summary: Confirmation,Awestruck, then realization
Review: Iwas amazed at the intricate detail of these visions which caused me to be awestruck. Then as I stepped back and pondered this book I realized that these visions are steps in our spiritual walk with God. Even in our dark times Jesus is always there. Confirmation came through the first chapter Hordes of Hell. In which I too experienced a vision several years ago but not recieve confirmation until I read this book. I am grateful for this timely book.

Summary: Not just a "whitewash" solution !!
Review: For those who do NOT want to be a whitewashed sepulcheur, but to thoroughly clean by the power of the One Who Sits on the Throne and the Precious Blood of His One and Only Son. I read it to start off the year of '98 and have passed the book on to those who are truely seeking a deeper and more real walk with The Lord. I wouldn't guess it to be intended for just the "stout-hearted" but for the faint-hearted who are tired of "fainting". A real inspiration and a true example of Love of the Father Who chasteneth those He loves.

Summary: don't read this if you want to avoid conviction
Review: God has revealed so much to me through this book. there is no accurate description for the overwhelming message this book delivers. it makes me feel so guilty for the blind spots in my life. i've glossed over so much in my own life. things i haven't even realized. do not be guilty of the sin of omission. and if you feel that your life is perfect and that your walk with God is smooth and healthy, think again...read "the final quest."
