Summary: An amazing insight into the spiritual battles we face daily!
Review: The Final Quest is the first book I have read by Rick Joyner (more accurately by Rick Joyner through the revelation given by the Holy Spirit).

As I was reading this book, I couldn't stop praising God. Your spiritual life will never be the same again once you read this book. I can't wait to read it again.

This book takes you out of the physical world and into the spiritual world where there is always a battle going on. Although the book is written from the viewpoint of traveling in the spiritual world, the parallels in the physical world come to light. You'll find yourself saying "Ah yes, I understand what that's all about". GET THIS BOOK NOW! I need to buy another copy; I was so excited about it I gave my copy to a friend.

Summary: The Final Quest is a MUST READ
Review: The final Quest is an excellent book that details the vison that the Lord gave to a man of God. It is a peek into a world that we know very little of. Some people think that it is full of "fascinating and spiritual imagery", I suggest that they read the book of Revelations! The Word teaches us that "you will know them by their fruit", I have read this book and it changed my life forever to the better of the kingdom. It gives the reader a scripturally clear look into what spiritual warfare is. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers, against the RULERS OF DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD, against SPIRITUAL WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES. (Ephesians 6:12) The Bible clearly portrays the follwers of Christ as warrior, Eph.6:13 goes on to tell us to put on the WHOLE ARMOR of Christ, Rom. 8:37 tells us we are "more than conquerors in all these things, which I might add goes on to add that principalites and powers are defeated by us through Christ. There are many instances in the word where we are portrayed as warriors. We are in a spiritual battle for souls. To fulfill the Great Commission. Our enemy does not want us to win. THE FINAL QUEST seeks to awaken the slumbering Christain to the battle. If you are asleep at your post, you will be hurt.It gives the Christian a picture of the battle and keys to be a conqueror in it. It encourages the Christian to be knowledgeable about our warfare. You will laugh, you will cry and you will be deeply touched by God. Our final authority is the word of God. The fruit in my life, was proof for me. My friends have also testified to me of how it changed their lives. Be prepared to be ministered to by the Holy Spirit.

Summary: IT GOT ME!
Review: My daughter recommended this book to me, which helped her overcome depression. "Final Quest" arrived by mail at my house Sat. and I read it all in one sitting, couldn't put it down. I then had to read it with my husband. By Sunday night we were within 2 pages of reaching the last chapter! And we're both so excited and inspired. Rick Joyner has definitely been with God!! I feel this book is so very important to Christians that everyone should read it. Not only will it teach you how to Love people and ask for Wisdom, but it will help you to love other denominations without the usual "I'm better than you" attitude! WE NEED EACH OTHER! We need to Love each other! There's so much to take in and much to learn. Thanks Rick, for listening, seeing, and writing God's vision for the rest of us! Maybe some of your readers will become the next to "see" God in new ways! Blessings!!

Summary: A life-changing book for me!
Review: I am thankful that God has graced us with this book by Rick Joyner. Although it was a little difficult for me to get passed the first chapter of the book because of the spiritual evils described, I praise God He led me through the entire book. After reading this book, I am a changed person in that I am constantly examining myself...in my deeds and motives, and trying my best with the help of the Holy Spirit not to critically judge others. Of course, man can only see the outside while God sees our hearts. And that is all that matters to me, that my heart remains pure and true before the Lord because that's all that matters to our Lord. Jesus Himself said that His desire for His church is to know His heart. I believe Rick Joyner's vision and recollection of his conversations with people in Heaven including Jesus Himself and the Apostle Paul is to help us corporately as a church to be united in heart like Jesus and the Father are one as found in John 17. And for us individually to grow more intimate with our Lord, so that we will bring honor to Him by being the best we can be for Him. I pray that others, Christians and yet-to-be Christians, will be encouraged to read this most, BLESSED book ever! To God be ALL the glory, forever! Aloha ke Akua (God is love).

Summary: Acts 17:11 applies everywhere.
Review: How do I start:

I read this book in a single sitting. It helped motivate me to search the scriptures daily.

Is this book scripture? No

Does it make you examine your personal relationship with Jesus? Yes

Is it worth reading? Yes

Having grown up not believing in God (WOW! was I misguided), I didn't realize groups of believers actually fought with each other over various issues. I still distain 'religion' for this reason. I do know and love my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

This book's chapter 'the hordes of hell are marching' hit the "US vs. THEM" mentality right on the head. Why don't the various groups of believers follow paul's exortation (Philippians 4:8). *sigh* people *shakes head*

...anyhow...

Read the book, it will point you right back to the Word.

Summary: Criticism is important, but it needs to be fair.
Review: There are skeptics and critics who get all bent out of shape because Rick Joyner got some prophetic visions from the Lord. Many of them lament that this would have been a great book if only the author wrote it as a fictional allegory and not prophetic revelation. Everybody needs to relax! Prophecy is never meant to establish doctrine or take the place of scripture. There are many wacky people out there who abuse prophecy, but Rick doesn't appear to be one of them considering that he clearly states in the introduction that what he received from the Lord is not equal to scripture or to be used to form doctrine! Isn't it obvious what he means when he says that? If you find something in his book that contradicts your doctine, you shouldn't change your doctrine. Leave the poor guy alone, he is not trying to step on your toes. All he did is write down what he saw in his dreams and visions, would you rather him to lie and say that he just made it up as a fictional story? What would you do if you started getting prophetic dreams and visions? Quench the Holy Spirit?

If Rick started claiming that his writings were authoritative truth, then we need to judge what he wrote more harshly. Until then, he hasn't done anything but write what he believes the Lord has been showing him. Seems innocent to me!

The book itself is totally awesome and I highly recommend it. I believe you will be inspired to draw near to God and serve Him with all of your heart as you ponder its pages.

Summary: This book is the bomb
Review: I have always wanted to say something about this book, thank God this is a good oppurtunity. This book is like the best book I have ever read.
I pray God blesses the Aurthor.

Summary: Be careful
Review: Just a quick response to the girl that said "we are not to touch the Lord's annointed." - there is no Scriptural basis for this - David did not kill Saul because he was the Lord's annointed but Saul was King of Israel at the time. Since Jesus has come, we don't have kings or lords anymore (other than Jesus) - see Matt 20:25

Furthermore, NO ONE is above criticism or questioning, not even Rick Joyner, not even the apostle Paul for that matter. He commended the Bereans because they searched the Scriptures to see if what he said was true.

If we follow his example, we should search the Scriptures to see if what Rick is saying is true. I encourage everyone to search the Scriptures, not with Rick's interpretation in mind, but the Scriptures themselves. If you do this, I believe that you will find many contradictions within Rick's own writings. He has been known to go back and modifiy his own prophesies after the fact.

The most concerning thing about Rick's book is that he gives 4 levels of prophetic revelation. He says most of Scripture is written on the 2nd level in which human judgment can influence the writing. Of course, the Final Quest was written on the 4th and higher level, according to Rick.

Is he saying that his writings are more authoritative than the Bible??? His writings are on level 4, the Bible is on level 2. But later he says that prophetic revelation should not determine doctrine (teaching). So on one hand, the Final Quest is above the Bible. On the other hand, it shouldn't be used to determine doctrine or teaching. Just one contradiction to ponder over. There are many more.

Summary: Which side will you be on?
Review: The Bible admonishes us not to attack God's annointed. Joyner's books speak clearly and concisely to a huge group of Christians in these final days. Satan does not want a clear understanding of the Truth to be known; it is his duty to muddy the waters. Many cannot understand the truths in this book, the water is muddied for them. These scathing reviews reflect a spiritually dead group of individuals whose only purpose seems to be to attack awakened individuals like Rick Joyner; my guess is many have not read the book, they simply don't trust his ministry. If you read this book and you do not have eye-popping revelations, I suggest you drop to your knees, seek the Lord, ask for the truth, then pray your name will one day be written in the Lambs Book of Life.
