Rating: Summary: A Story for Everyone Review: Anyone who has enjoyed the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series, "Guideposts," or The Christophers "Three Minutes a Day," will enjoy this book too. It is a wonderful collection of personal accounts telling how praying the rosary has provided healing, strength, consolation, and direction in the varied life problems most everyone faces. Every reader will find at least one story to which he / she can relate. To date, I have purchased at least a dozen copies, and finally have one to call my own. Although every order included a copy for myself, none ever remained. With every order, I identified yet another person who would really like the book. Many of them have since ordered more copies for family and friends. Even non-readers will enjoy this book. No story is very long, but every story teaches a powerful lesson. It's a great book for the nightstand as each story offers peace that can unwind those who are stressed and calm those suffering through a restless night. The stories can also be used as bedtime stories or for reading times with children. The stories provide great opportunities to teach and inspire the children - something sorely needed amid the violence and fears our children face daily.
Rating: Summary: Uplifting, Interesting and So Important in Our Times! Review: I loved Sister Pat's book! I ordered it for "FREE" because I wanted to 'check it out' sort of, but it's so beautifully written with love that I had to send the money.:) How many other people do you know who would send you a free book with their written blessing inside the cover? None that I know of for sure! This book should be read by everyone and anyone, believer or unbeliever. It touches hearts, souls and minds. Anyone who can come away from reading this untouched in some way, well, I don't think anyone COULD come away from it untouched in some way, no matter how small. God bless Sister Pat for her inspiration to have this book published and God bless all who sent in their stories. The Rosary is a powerful weapon in our hands. We just need to pick it up and start using it. Our Blessed Mother wouldn't tell us to 'pray the rosary' if it wasn't powerful and meaningful. It's our "stairway to Heaven" so to speak, our beads to climb to God's ear through Mary's prayers in the beautiful rosary. Thank you for sharing this book with us, Sister Pat.
Rating: Summary: Rosary Stories, Yes ..... but much more! Review: On thing that many people in the Church lack today is a sense of "Catholic Identity"! This book, compiled by Sr. Patricia Proctor, O.S.C. is a good stride toward realizing that Catholicism is alive and well due, in part, to a renewal of devotion to Mary, the Mother of God, because she leads us to her Son, the Reason for and basis of our Faith. This book certainly illustrates this reality many times over.

Rating: Summary: delightful reading and very inspirational! Review: This book is an easy read and will inspire and motivate the reader to pause for a moment and reflect on the awesome power of prayer. The stories contained within it's covers are filled with amazing comfort, strength and encouragement for our daily lives. With clear instructions on how to pray The Rosary included as well as how to make your own rosary, it covers all areas in helping the reader to put into practice daily, quiet, prayerful reflection on each of the most blessed mysteries of our LORD and the devine intervention available to us through our Blessed Mother Mary. I enjoyed this delightful and inspiring book and appreciate it's authors hard work and determination to bring forth the hope and promise of spiritual refreshment through the daily practice of praying the Rosary. I would recommend this book to all who enjoy real life stories of hope, promise and the awesome power of prayer.

Rating: Summary: I praying my rosary with love Review: I ordered my book in December, and I thought that I was going to receive it January, but, I got it before Christmas, I read it on the train everyday going home from work. I read about 4 or 5 stories and then I start to pray my rosary, I feel so good and think of the misteries while I'm praying, I feel the love of Jesus and Mary every day. I have told family and friends and I have a list for them to read it. I might have to buy another one to keep to re-read.
Rating: Summary: Amazing grace Review: Here is an easily readable book about ordinary folks who find extraordinary grace through prayer. To begin with, it doesn't matter what you believe about Mary, the Mother of Christ, or about the rosary. What impresses me about this book is that the stories are written by people just like me. You don't need a degree in theology to appreciate the simple yet profound faith expressed in every story.
