Summary: clear and concise
Review: This is a very well written book with solid answers. If you are interested in Islam, this is a must read. In fact, many of the questions presented are unanswered. Beware though, entering into sensative dialogue opens up the door to personal attack, not thoughtful dialogue.

Summary: Insinuated Hate
Review: I still can't believe some people are actually praising this book... After all, an answer to 'Answering Islam' has already been written, and it makes the 'arguments' in this 'book' sound like half-baked childish attempts to libel Islam. I imagine you can make lots of money preying on people's belief, especially with such a sensitive issue as religions. It's funny how people like the author try to attack Islam in every way possible, forgetting the old adage about not casting stones when you live in glass houses. Hmmm, so who's on the right path now, is it Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox, or Judeo-Chrisitians? they're all right and everybody else is a savage, how sad is the state of a religion when it reaches that level of self-righteousness?

Summary: Excellent! Must read!!
Review: This book is excellent in it's points. It clearly points out that the Moslem faith is not based on any Historical facts but based on dreams and imaginations.

Review: Islam will endure regardless of the number of trees killed to print worthless books such as these. For those who believe, attacks against Islam require no response, why dignify such hatred? Those who change their minds about Islam after reading this book have feeble minds indeed. What is surprising is the complete ignorance of the authors who criticize other religions without looking inwards. There's no denying that every religion has killed millions (colonization, crusades, conquests). Every religion has strange ideas--imagine a person dying and then returning, imagine walking on water, these may be strange to some people. Before pointing the finger and feeling so superior, you should get a good grasp of your own history. So, first, you should not judge, it's not your place to put one religion above another, let God do his/her work. Second, if you must make a decision about which is better for you to follow, rely on people who know what they're talking about. You wouldn't ask a KKK member about the merits of non-European people, why would you trust the opinion of rabid anti-Muslims about the merits of Islam. Of course, God may have afflicted you with a lack of critical thought

Summary: One Question!
Review: what is it about Islam that drives people crazy jealous

Summary: The worst book purchase you can make.
Review: Yes, I'm muslim. And I promise I'll be fair. The book falls under a rare non-fiction sub-jenre/category that modern collective intellect has gradually eliminated -- "ideological attack" books. Human intellect has matured into a more positive attitude about matters of personal belief and individual choice. If you're thinking about buying this book for guidance, this is what I can tell you...If the authors of this book were really seeking good for humanity they should show us the way to follow rather than showing us the ways not to follow. "answering Islam." That's all? How about the million other ways not to follow? How about other religions? How about the guy that has his own cult next door? Or is it just Islam that should be answered and attacked? Why should we answer anyone's claimes. If islam is wrong and christianity is right and the book intends to guide to the truth, why didn't Mr. Salib et al wrtie about Christianity in itself? However, if you're here to buy this book as a scientific research tool or as a comaparative study, you should know by now that it does not qualify for any intellectual respect. It's about christianity and Islam but it's written by Christians. As for people who may want something to ignite unsophisticated exceitement and go all out on primitive bias, you'll be disappointed because it's not exacty a fantastic read.

Summary: Easy to understand, the most often used resources.
Review: Christians have used this resource to gain a basic understanding of Islam, probably more than any other. There's a reason why - it is very simply a great read that is easy to understand. This book covers the basics, and gives just a tad of history. If you want to gain a basic understanding of Islam from the Christian perspecitve, then this is the book to buy. Many Muslims, after reading Abdul Saleeb's testimony, have even made the transition to Christianity because of this book.

Summary: Cleary the product of unstable minds.
Review: I find it very interesting that a book of this standard and stature could cause controversy among its readers. The reviews range between 5's and 1's, and to say the truth, I should give this book a zero. But to just give a bit of credit to its authors for the time it took them to put together such nonsense, I hereby give it a 1. To make matters worse, certain reviews contained even more nonesense then the book itself. Just to set records straight, I am a Muslim, and a very proud one. I do not wish to give credit to my religion through attacking Christianity or any other religion, since all these religions deserve to be respcted just as much as Islam should be. We, as Muslims, are confronted with Western stereotypes through our interaction with those poeple. We try as much as we could to tolerate these differences, and to set borders and limits. And it is not strange to see that these Westeners actually respect us as people and and Muslims. To get a fair look at Islam and its true meanings, I suggest searching for more reliable sources. Some reviews suggested that some Muslims actually admit that the Quran and the Hadeeth both contain strange ideas. This is pure fabrication, for no true Musllim would say this. This is cleary the point of view of certain Muslims who are obviously not comfortable with their religion. If you want to know the meaning of Islam, talk to a true Muslim. Have you ever wondered why the number of Muslims increase every day? Some poeple might not be aware of this fact, but Islam is the fastest growing religion on Earth. It is because people are finally able to see that Islam has all the answers to their needs, for it is the religion of peace and justice. It is true that misconceptions of Islam arise because of certain factors that are present in society. Just as some of the values of Christianity are being misapplied, there are values of Islam that are misapplied too. Thus, such confusions and anger against a religion that combined all aspects of life arise. The people who actually supported this book, only showed their eagerness to find something to hold against Islam and its beliefs. But I am sorry to say that a book containing such falacies will only act as a proof that outsiders to any religion should take the time to actually learn about other poeple's beliefs before taking the ideas of an unreliable source to support fake arguments. We as Muslims take the time to learn more about other cultures of the world, and in some cases know more about certain people than they know about themselves. So, I demand that such ignorance is avoided and more tolerance is shown. I am open to any comments or questions about misconceptions of Islam, and I assure you that I will answer these questions without bias with supporting arguments from reliable sources. I hope this will clear away all the doubt that certain individuals expressed of the Muslims' unwillingness to listen to all sides, and I hope I will be here to prove otherwise.

Summary: Excellent response to orthodox Islam
Review: Good introduction to traditional orthodox Islam, plus a refutation of its claims from an evangelical Christian position. The critique of Islamic monotheism is devastating. I have yet to see an adequate Muslim response to it.

Summary: Shame
Review: It is certainly not serious what it is given in this book. Do we still have such ignorance at the end of the 20st century? This makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. It reminds me of some fictional comics that I read when a cat or a dog could be transformed magically to a human being or a bird. The arguments of this book have the same logic! It is just a waist...
