Summary: Max Lucado is an excellent christian writer.
Review: Max Lucado is possibly the best christian author I have ever read. He takes bible stories and breaks it down so it is easier to understand. The Great House of God is about the Lord's Prayer and all the names given to our heavenly Father and this book helped me see things in the Lord's prayer that I have never saw before and I didn't realize all the different names the Bible has for God. It is an great book I highly recommend this book. It is the type of book you read and will want to share with others, but yet you hate to let go of your copy because this is a book that you will want to read over and over. If you buy this book I don't think you will be disappointed.

Summary: At Home In God: A New Look At The Lord's Prayer
Review: Max Lucado takes a new look at The Lord's Prayer, guiding us to look at it as the blueprint for our heart's home with and in God. From the Foundation to the Observatory, from the Front Room to the Kitchen and the Chapel; Lucado leads the reader to observe the wonder and delight of living with God, not just near Him. A truely inspiring work of writing.

Summary: Thank you, Max
Review: My Mother and I finshed reading this book together about a week ago, and we thought it well worth the time. Every night we would read a chapter discuss it and go to bed. The truth of this book is amazing. I now try and go to the living room, the study, the chapel, and the hallway every day. I stay within the walls and under the roof as much as I can. I live in God's House.

Summary: I Really Like This Book!
Review: Some people think Mr. Lucado is a lightweight. This book refutes that line of thinking. Nowhere else will you find a better meditation on either the Lord's prayer or what it means to be one with Christ. This book is worth every penny. God is not in the house-He is the house. Amen.

Summary: Refreshing the Lord's Prayer
Review: This book takes a fresh look at the Lord's Prayer. This is a piece of the Bible that I've read many times, but I never looked at it this way. Each chapter is dedicated to a line of the prayer and how that line describes a room in God's house or how the line refers to the personal relationship God has with us. The author makes the sometimes antiquated words apply to people's everyday lives. Most of the author's examples refer to his family/children. Even though I wasn't able to relate directly, I still enjoyed reading his narrative and was able to understand his points. This book reads like a sermon in parts: Bible verse, relevant point, anecdote, back to the point/verse, and repeat.
