Review: Coach John Reynolds cares deeply about every student he encounters, so it is ironic that one of them is responsible for nearly destroying his life. *** It is difficult, as always, to sum up Ms. Kingsbury's work in just a few words. There is so much depth and emotion to each of her novels, and the characters are so very real, that you want to tell everything about the book, but still not spoil it for the coming reader. You will come away from this one feeling renewed and touched by the power of faith and forgiveness. ***

Review: first book read by Karen Kingsbury and absolutely loved it. As soon as I got back into town I just HAD to go and buy, A Time to Dance. will continue all of Karen Kingsbury books.

Review: The story of John and Abby and the trials they face in what should be the golden years of their lives was awesome. Ms. Kingsbury did not mince words in writing about the feelings that many of us have when bad things happen to good people. She explores the depths of despair, feelings of anger with God, reconciling tragedy with God's will and ultimately forgiveness. This book is well written and guaranteed to make you think and appreciate all that is well in your life. However, the author always has a message of hope, as well. She has accurately pegged the way things typically happen in our lives - John's livelyhood is threatened, John's feelings of inadequacy in reaching his students, the accident, feelings of helplessness and anger afterwords. Everyone should read this book.

Summary: Love, the way God intended
Review: This book was an incredible true to life novel. After I read A Time to Dance about 6 months ago I didn't think anything could surpass it. I ended the book wanting to know more! What else haapened in John and Abby Reynolds' lives? I was thrilled to see A Time to Embrace (the sequel) in the bookstore. Karen Kingsbury is truly gifted in a way that is beyond words. Her writing is so beautiful and the characters are always people that you could relate to. This book is a beautiful description of forgiveness, hope, and true love the way God intends for us to experience. I would highly recommend this book. I couldn't put it down! If you haven't read A Time to Dance it would be worth your while to read that first though. I truly can't say enough about this book and it's predecessor.

Review: This bookis a wonderful sourceof hope for those who are facing an obstacle right now and also shares the message that God is with them enev when they're going through a hard time. this book reminds us that when we are facing obstacles it is important to hang onto what you believe and that fith will get you through the situation. This story also shows how powerfull prayer is. There are many lessons within this book so I suggest that everyone read it even if you aren't facing a specific problem right now.
