Rating: Summary: MIDWEST BOOK REVIEW Review: I have read a lot of books on the revelation of Hell. I have heard a lot of sermons on its existence, but nothing had prepared me for what I was about to read between the covers of this book "A Divine Revelation of Hell." The author, over a period of forty days, is given visions of hell and the people who are trapped there for eternity. I cannot begin to tell you the horrors that she saw and reported, but if you really want to know what is there, this is the book for you. However, I will warn you, she is faithful to reporting exactly what she has seen and if I were you, I would prepare myself before I opened the pages of this book ,because if what she is saying is true, and I believe it is, than we all must reevaluate our very existence and motives in this life before it is too late. A very good read that I hope will reach many so they will turn to Jesus and never have to be trapped in this place we call Hell.
Rating: Summary: Behold the Goodness and Severity of God Review: I will write yet another time concerning this book, you people need to read your bibles before you start taking this book and Mary k Baxter through the third degree. If you don't think God could throw people into hell or kill anyone. How about when Ananias and Saphira dropped dead. God Pulled their number for lying. People are gonna be cast into hell and many of them at that. So it is up to people like us, to get in the word, get de-pussified, stand up, stand 2 feet from the gates of hell and scare people away from it. Love is the motivator above all, but some people just need some good ole fashioned hard teaching. So as for the rest of you, just shut up, stop being a whimp and living in your own comfort zone, and stop people from falling into hell's fire. the bible says to "Behold the goodness, AND Severity of God", he is a Just JUDGE, and saying that people wouldn't be punished would simply make him a lier. But God is not a God that he shall lie now is he? Now eveyone stop this doctrine written by an immature 3rd grader, and realize that God is Just, people will be condemned to hell's fire, i don't care what you say, the bible says that he will do it. and you better repent and get your facts straight, or else i may very well be you that gets cast into the fire. God Bless, i am done arguing with you people. And i Salute the people who are in favor of this book, as for the rest of you though, read your bible, the whole thing, even where it talks about how severe God gets and can get. Buh bye

Rating: Summary: Think before you condemn this book Review: This is a very intense book and I admit it is difficult to accept the concept that the author was taken to hell by Jesus over a period of thirty nights. I consider myself a skeptical business person and sometimes found myself wondering if this book is authentic. I have decided to accept it at face value. Why? Because I find it impossible to believe that someone who is obviously a devout Christian would falsify a testimony such as this, knowing what the eternal consequences for her would be!I also found the book rich in detail that would be difficult for anyone but a skilled novelist to create. Lastly, the author's passion for warning others clearly comes through. Difficult as it may to believe, I think readers have to give her the benefit of the doubt. The Bible is full of revelations to unlikely candidates, why would we think they would not continue in the modern age? Also revealing is what the author has done with her life after receiving these revelations - she has gone on to become a spiritual leader who has devoted her life to telling people about Christ and trying to help them escape damnation. Is this the action of someone who is delusional or a liar? Keep these things in mind as you read this book. I thank God and the Lord Jesus Christ for finding a way to present this information to the world. Last thought - has it occurred to any of the skeptics that the reason Jesus revealed this information to the author is that we are getting close to the end times, and he wanted as many people to repent as possible?
Rating: Summary: READ THIS BOOK Review: I've read the other reviews of this book and some believe and some don't. Please don't let anyone's negative review prevent you from reading this book. I've read this book years ago and it was very powerful. Even if you don't believe every word, please trust in the Lord and know that hell is real and Jesus give a us a way to escape that. ROMANS 10:9
Rating: Summary: Baxter plays a childish prank by claiming Divine Revelation Review: There are useful accounts of encounters with Christ that lead to very uplifting and eye opening truths about our reality. I find it offensive that Baxter claims that this book is an account of Divine Revelation guided by the Lord Himself. Not the first time People have done this sort of thing."Dante's Inferno" as a fiction has more substance than this fibber. I catagorize this with the story-telling of alien abductees.
Rating: Summary: Utterly False Review: I do not doubt that Mary K Baxter had some sort of revelation, but it was not from the Lord. This book has some interesting stuff in it, and some things, if read by themselves could be considered edifying, however, this book is laced with much false doctrine. I would have given this book 0 stars if it were possible. Sadly, many Christians who are bored with their faith and immature sucked into this nonsense.
Rating: Summary: A Divine Revelation of Hell - Mary K Baxter Review: I was repenting on every chapter. This is a wake up call to us as christians!!! Please get this book. Please tell your loved ones about this horrible place!! I thank God for Mary K Baxter's obedience to the Lord, to warn all of us, whether christian or non-christian about hell and the horrors of this place. Remember, this place was made for satan and the angels (now demons) that rebelled against God. But if we choose not to serve God, and ask His Son Jesus into our hearts, hell will be the final destination. Don't let it be said, "To Late, To Late." GET THIS BOOK!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Heed the warnings in this book Review: Even if one does not believe this woman's account of Hell, it gives the reader a point of reference to understand the horror, if one is seperated for all eternity from the Source of love and life. Think logically; being seperated from the Source of love and life by itself will be a horror beyond belief. The Bible speaks of a group of people [in Hell ;see Revelation 20:11-15;Luke 16:19-31] that will be banished from God's presence and thrown into the Lake of Fire. Will that not be beyond horrific for these people? Furthermore, Jesus's says this group of people will be a majority! (see Matthew 7:13,14) My point is the concepts of this book are true; and according to the Bible banishment from God will be a horror beyond belief! This book brings that Truth and warning home perfectly, in a way that people can conceptualize as a reality. If you as the reader believe in hell, you must accept these concepts that are supported by Scripture. If you don't believe in Hell, why bother getting upset by this book and warning people not to buy it? What did you expect to read when you picked up this book? ... that Hell would be one big party?
