Review: If I could recommend a book for any Christian to read who is feeling dry and bored in their walk with the Lord, it would be this one. After reading a bunch of incredible reviews of it online along with the strong advocation of a close friend, I had to buy it and see what the hype was about. While expecting to find a less pleasing book than everyone had made it out to be, I found it to be even better. I read the entire book in one day--it was too difficult to put down. Be sure, however, to ask God beforehand to bless the reading...and He will. Other books I strongly recommend are The Final Quest by Rick Joyner, Prayer by O. Hallesby, and The Wonderful Spirit-Filled Life by Charles Stanley.

Review: On the back cover of this book, a woman named Cindy Jacobs writes: "I must warn you, this is a dangerous book. If you're comfortable and complacent and want to stay that way, don't even open its pages!" How right she was... I'm normally what other people have called a lightning-fast reader, if uninterrrupted I can finish a 200-250 page novel in about 2 hours--but with this book, I couldn't even finish the first chapter the 1st time I picked it up, because I FELT GOD there in the room with me--tangibly! (For anyone out there who wonders what I'm talking about--get hold of a copy of the book and see for yourself. I don't believe you'll regret it.)

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Passion for the truth Review: Tenney's zeal for God's presence reminds me of the passion for the truth held by many portrayed in Nothing But the Truth, a book by Karl Keating. While the experiences to which Tenney refers appear to drive many to seek closer communion with God, it is their thirst for the truth, for reasons to believe that drives them. That's why scholars continue studying the Gospels, to gain understanding of the history behind them. Their work is inspiring reading. While Tenney's book is moving, its effect on readers will be fleeting, compared to what they will find in Keating's work.

Review: I've been walking with the Lord for a lot of years, and during those years, I've read countless great books - at lease one every month - and this one, without a doubt, is the greatest! I've been in two of Tommy Tenney's meetings, and I admire his willingness to get out of God's way and let God move and work. I've heard many preachers SAY they're willing to do that, but very few actually remove themselves from the limelight. I also admire Tommy's courage to speak out on some very important issues in this book. If you are actively seeking to want to know God better, this book will be an answer to prayer.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Awesome challenge Review: I had to take a few minutes just to let all who are out there in search of a real relationship with God that this book is a must read! I thank God for giving Tommy Tenney the vision and inspiration to write this book. There are times I was weeping while reading because I couldn't believe that someone was finally able to put on paper what I've been feeling in my spirit so long. If you're tired of complacency and mediocrity in the body of Christ...this is the book for you. I think everyone who professes to be a Christian should read this book and put it into practice. I'm starting the chase...will you?
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Keep chasing...He wants you to catch Him. Review: Wow, what a book. What a challenge. Tommy Tenney really challenges you to seek something new. Don't just settle for stale crumbs from last years revival...allow God to bake some "new bread." He is not a God that expects us to have left overs. God's hand is always at work in our lives, but how often do we seek His face...just for the sake of seeing HIM! Glory to God!
