Review: This book has put into words the deepest desire and hunger of what should be and is in our hearts. This book makes you cry out to the Father, fall on your knees and desire what He would do in your life...It is deep calling unto deep...Tommy's passion and yearning for God the Father comes alive off the pages, the anointing seems to flow from it as you read. This is a book to read again and again and again....

Review: I Pastor a church that does not share the exact same doctrinal beliefs that Tommy Tenney does. If this is the reason that you have not read this book, then please put these fears to rest. This book is not about Charismatic Doctrine, but about seeking after God with all our heart, soul, and mind. This is applicable to every Christian of every denomination. Tommy Tenney gives a call to all of us to just seek God. Not to seek after religion or tradition, but to seek God first. When was the last time that we honestly fell on our faces before God and cried out to Him to overcome us? We need more of God in our churches and less of man. If you agree, then PLEASE do your spirit a favor and read this book. I promise you, that if your heart is open to God, that you will receive a spiritual blessing.

Summary: A much needed book in these times
Review: I've read many christian books, but this one is definately different. It doesn't preach to you and it's not a testimony - it increases your understanding of God as a person. Most christians "think" they know God and what his real desire is for them. Reading this book changes your entire concept of what HE wants from his children. After reading this book, all I could do is weep in God's presence. I received a greater, newer and more personal understanding of God as a person and the kind of relationship he wants with his child. If there is anyone who wants to have a closer relationship with God, this is the book for you. If you have reached a stage in your life where instead of telling God what's in your heart, you want to know what's in God's heart, then this book is definately for you.

Summary: Relieved to know I'm not alone
Review: I grew up with traditional bulletin-ized worship settings but have grown to experience deeper worship of my Father. I was beginning to think I was alone with the distinct desire to experience God's presence more and more in worship. This book was a revelation to me, that I am not alone...and I don't have to desert the church I know God is working through...I can pray that each Christian in my local body becomes a God Chaser like me. Tenney has not abandoned the Truth, but has encouraged a scriptural exploration of true worship...moving from being satisfied with "anointed" services to seeking the very "presence" of God. In addition to Seeking God in His Word, this book will be a once-a-year (at least) read for me...to continue to challenge my complacency in worship.

Review: After reading this book my whole view has been changed. this book explain how I had been feeling and explained who I am. I thoutht I was very unusual but Now I find out that there are other people just like. This is a an excellent book and I have recommended to other people. I am in the middle of God Catcher now. Keep up the good work.

If you remotely thought there was more to this 'Christian Thing' then you were right and this book will show you how to go from glory to glory and victory to victory through entering into the true presence of God. It's a spiritual must have!!!

Summary: Seeking, I AM.
Review: Several friends of mine had read THE GOD CHASERS and received a great deal out of it. However, I also knew several people who read the book and did not enjoy it all. I didn't know exactly what to expect and began reading this book with an open heart and an open mind. The book contains a powerful message about being broken and putting God first in our lives, so much so that we become a God-chaser instead of just being chased by God. The stress on brokeness is a message that the Church tends either to avoid nowdays or gloss over with a bunch of warm-fuzzy Christianity. As much as God is the loving, humble servant, God is also a fierce and mighty warrior. This is a lesson well worth remembering. Nevertheless, this book is not for everyone. The author makes that clear in his introduction. Not everyone will find the book interesting. Of course, it doesn't help that the author repeats himself in just about every chapter. Still, in this user-friendly world of ours we tend to forget how powerful and awesome God truly is. Anything that reminds us of that power is worth noticing.

Summary: an excellent read
Review: Excellent book!! It changed my life and my perspective on things. I quit chasing the blessings of God and instead, started chasing Him. And then He caught me just as Bro. Tommy said. I strongly recommend this book for anyone who wants to seriously get closer to the Lord.
