Summary: TOMMY HAS THE RIGHT IDEA.
Review: I must admit when I purchased this book I was skeptical. I had read all the reviews and I fully expected it to be "just hype". But naturally, my curiosity was aroused by the amazing claims of "life-changing effects" and a "revolutionary new walk with God" as a result of reading this book. So I had to try it. Now, I usually don't read too much so-called "Christian literature". I don't buy into 5-minute Salvation and Instant Access to Heaven which is commonly the theme of most religious material. But this book is definitely a thought-provoking work at worst. I agree with much of Tenney's musings. He has the right idea. This book has definitely ignited the wick in my lamp of Hunger for God. Tommy's thirst for the manifest prescence of God is contagious. This book will not change your life overnight as some people have claimed, but it may be the fuel to rekindle your flame. I recommmend it to anyone.

Summary: He gets it right!
Review: Pastor Tenney is one of the few people I have ever met who gets it right concerning our relationship with GOD. In this book he does one of the best jobs I have ever read about expressing that. What's more is he does it as well as can be done without interjecting his denominational doctrine.
This is a "MUST READ" for any "Real CHRISTian"! Another would be "Desperate for HIS Presence" by Rhonda Hughey
We must allow HIS presence back into the Church and into our own lives!

Summary: 19 yr old woman loved this book
Review: When first opening this book I thought it would help me to become a God chaser in my personal life, but i was wrong. This book is more of a book for the church to read, maybe a youth group or something. It did inspire me to get closer to God, but it was directed more at how the church needs to change, in order to help save unbelievers. This would be the perfect book to read in a church group. Some people do not like Tommy Tenneys style of writing, but I enjoy personal stories, and an authors personality, it brought the book to life, much like his other books. This book is worth the money bottom line.

Review: Whenever we (the church) make emotion and 'experience' the proof of God's presence, the Devil wins again. Demons will provide all the manifestations needed to keep the party going.Meanwhile, God's program of making believers more like Christ continues.
