Summary: Kept me on the edge of my seat!!!
Review: I bought this book after reading reviews of another series..Left Behind. While I enjoyed Left Behind, it's an easy read, almost too easy, I was felt wanting a different perspective. Besides that, I felt dizzy trying to keep up with all the characters throghout their globe-trotting adventures.
In Birth of An Age, the way James BeauSeigneur interpreted the rapture in the previous book....I almost didn't realize it happened! The part about the horseman almost scared me to death! I had to keep the lights on in my apartment while reading that night. Very graphic. I didn't expect that from a Christian novel. I suppose it will be very, very violent, such as in this book, in the last days...no need to sugarcoat the Great Tribulation. As far as the Antichrist, I felt sympathy towards the character. He really is a likeable fellow.
All in all this was an interesting and exciting read. Looking forward to reading the last installment.

Summary: The Christ Clone Trilogy Left Behind the Left Behind Series
Review: If you like the Left Behind Series you will want to read James BeauSeigneur's The Christ Clone Trilogy. This series has been reprinted and copies are available. Mr. BeauSeigneur wrote this series several years ago and the series continues to gain popularity. He educates the reader and after you read the 3 book series you use the material as a reference for addressing biblical passages. The books are full of footnotes and the scholarship is inspiring. Read and enjoy this book series.

Summary: Deceiving the Elect
Review: Why did I ever spend money on other end-times series when the Christ Clone Trilogy has just been waiting to be discovered?

"In His Image" was a refreshing addition to this fictional sub-genre. With great clarity and shocking delivery, James BeauSeigneur continues his trilogy in "Birth of an Age," revealing the destruction of prophesied plagues and the deception of the anti-Christ. What makes this series stand out is that BeauSeigneur plays the devil's advocate, spouting New Age rhetoric through the mouths of his characters and leaving us to wonder just how this will all play out. Sure, we've heard the sermons and conjecture, but the Christ Clone Trilogy speaks louder than most other vehicles by taking us into the middle of the action, the horror, and the twisted logic of the anti-Christ's plans. The author manages to approach age-old prophecies with fresh insight and imaginative depictions, some of which will leave you terrified. I've been burned out since childhood on the end-times theories, but this series makes it all so real, alive, and ceaselessly entertaining. Buttressed by massive research, "Birth of an Age" takes us to the brink of a brighter future...or does it?

I was going to hold off on the third book, but I've changed my mind. I've got to read on to discover the "Acts of God."

Summary: Terrifying Apocalyptic Tale
Review: Picking up where "In His Image" left off, James BeauSeigneur wastes no time getting into the heart of the destruction of the Apocalypse. After a brief prologue where he recounts the end of the first book, the story becomes a heart thumping page turner as the prophecies in the book of Revelations are unleashed upon the earth with terrifying and deadly results.
The reason this series works so well to me is that BeauSeigneur has virtually taken the books from the point of view of the antichrist, charming the reader early by him before you're aware of who he is. By presenting it from his side and hearing first hand his logic makes it easier to see how the masses would get duped by him. It ultimately makes it much scarier and insidious than the very stock evil guy, Nicolae Carpathia from the "Left Behind" books.Additionally the book works so well because it seems BeauSeigneur realizes that as the tribulation unfolds it's the events themselves that are the story, not individual people.By keeping his story centered around Christopher and Decker the focus isn't lost with ten and twelve other underdeveloped characters which is what I feel the 'Let Behind" series does.
This book had me on the edge of my seat, and nervous in a way I haven't felt in a while. Scientifically it all feels very probable which only adds to the terror. This is a 'left behind' that makes "Left Behind" look like Disney World. And if you're looking for something not nearly as well written and very dragged out you should stick with the "Left Behind" series. But for me, the "Christ Clone Trilogy" are far and away the best.

Summary: Best End-Times Fiction
Review: Following directly on the heels of "In His Image," the second book in the Christ Clone Trilogy delivers a powerful punch! The Tribulation has begun. Beauseigneur's portrayal of the first trumpet is breathtaking in it's scope and devastation. The second trumpet judgement is also powerfully and frightfully delivered. An intriguing plot, and well-developed characters combined with pain-staking research combine to make this perhapse the finest End-Times novel. This book (as do the others in the trilogy) reads like a mystery, a techno-thriller, and a science fiction novel all rolled into one. I'd give it five stars except for the mild profanity. You'll probably want to think twice before using the Christ Clone Trilogy in a Bible study.

Summary: Nothing Short of Remarkable!
Review: What BeauSeigneur has done with the Christ Clone Trilogy is nothing short of remarkable. It is so well written, so well developed, and so well researched that there is hardly any need to suspend disbelief. I couldn't help but feel that I was actually there, experiencing each of the prophetic events and circumstances.

I particularly like BeauSeigneur's use of vignettes to depict the effects of the various trumpet judgments. It was refreshing to be able to see things through the eyes of minor characters close to the events without having to concoct reasons for the main characters to always be at the center of the action. I highly recommend these books to everyone.

Summary: What a wonderful time to be a Christian lover of literature!
Review: For so many years, a Christian's only real option to read quality Christian literature was to read the marevelous C.S. Lewis. I feel blessed in the the last couple of years with the outpouring of quality literature now available. What's more, the different books are all very different. Left Behind is a wonderful introduction to the theology behind the End Times and a great series for all ages. We All fall down is a great book for more mature, intellegent Christians who wsnt to explore the individual ramifications of the End Times and the one on one relationship of a man who has fallen away from God. The Christ Clone Trilogy is a thrilling, Tom Clancey like look at these events, full of unexpected twists and turns. I know some people like to argue the various merits of these books as compared to each other, but I think they are all worth reading and feel lucky to finally have such a wide variety of GREAT Christian literature available.

Summary: Goodman discovers he is an Alien
Review: Let's continue down the path with our seemingly benevolent, caring, tortured Clone of Jesus, Christopher Goodman. The world is in Chaos; burned, plagued, poisioned and deluged from space by asteriods. Goodman and his faithful Decker are there to gloss the spins and begin to shift the blame to Yahweh God for all the messes and tribulations. Our old friends the Apostle John and his co-hort Cohen, are made villians to be reviled and rejected. Without letting too much out of the story, Tom Donafin re-appears to see Decker at the UN,... And so on... The last chapters of this book are Out of This World. Literally... This is a great work of End-Times literature. Since the untimely demise of my friend Gilbert Morris' OMEGA TRILOGY, I must recommend these books in the CHRIST CLONE TRILOGY as the best and brightest of the ilk. Read them and enjoy a good story.

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: This book has several situations which I did not expect. I am not to sure I understand the ending. I did not expect Christ to be the antiChrist. Very snappy and very logical how the author develops his story. There is a lot of Biblical fact used to support his story as it develops. I could not put it down once I started. I am going on to the third book and hope it is not a let down.

Summary: POWERFUL, POWERFUL, POWERFUL
Review: The entire CHRIST CLONE TRILOGY is very well written. I simply couldn't put them down. I suggest you read this series with a highlighter nearby so you can mark things and research them for yourself. This is made easier by BeauSeigneur's use of footnotes.

The Christ Clone Trilogy will surprise you with nearly every page. I highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who wants to understand biblical prophecy and the book of Revelation. BUY THESE BOOKS, READ THEM, GIVE THEM TO YOUR PASTOR TO READ, AND BUY COPIES FOR YOUR FAMILY!
