Summary: Brilliant way of telling the story.
Review: I read the book in two days, could not put it down. Being a Left Behind series reader, loved this book. When the drama unfolds you expect one thing and another happens. The play with word and characters is fascinating. Already on book three. Can't jump to conclusions while reading the book.

Summary: In His Image
Review: This was without a doubt the worst book I have ever read.

Summary: WOW!!!!
Review: I loved the Christ Clone Trilogy!! What an amazing set of books...a must read for left behind book fanatics. Thanks, Mr. Beauseigneur. I enjoyed it immensely!

Summary: Somewhat disappointing
Review: The book was pretty short. There is a ton of stuff that could be included within the story lines he's developed, and he left them cold. It was interesting to see what his take on Revelation is, but there's just too much promise for the limited payoff.

I still think it is kinda unusual how he's used barely hidden names of real people and groups as his antagonists/protagonists, along with their real information.

Summary: Even better than the first one!
Review: Having enjoyed the first one, I am amazed by the second. When I finished the first book, I wasn't absolutely sure who was going to be the antichrist. There was the obvious choice but I was hoping with all my might that it would not be so. Now that I have finished the second book and the antichrist has been revealed, he is still such a good guy I don't want to believe it!

The second book takes us from the beginning of the plagues predicted by the two witnesses up to the ascension of the antichrist to a position of governing the world. Expert attention is paid to the impact of two asteroids that wipe out all life in their path and cause widespread famine as a result of impact related volcanic activity and tsunamis. The fall out fom a third taints much of the water.

Meanwhile, after confronting Ambassador Faure, Christopher Goodman looks like the favored choice to follow Hansen as Secretary General. Still seen through the eyes of Decker, Christopher is as innocent as the fourteen year old boy we initially met in Book One. Could he really be the antichrist? Or could the 2,000 year old apostle John actually be trying to fulfill his own prophecies? If John is somehow behind it all, how can we be sure that any of what is written in Revelations is a certainty? And what about Christopher's story of the origin of the species being from Theata, a planet of highly evolved beings? Which is the perversion - his story or ours?

The biggest question is, for me, is the antichrist ever going to seem evil?? So far, he is so perfect that it is not even imaginable. I can't wait for the third book!

Summary: Expertly calculated suspense
Review: This book was well written with unexpected plot twists. Just when you think it was going one way it went another. I read it in one day. The author is very imaginative with possibilities surrounding Shroud of Turin research.

Summary: Hot rocks!
Review: In CCT2, the New Age oganization that's behind Chistopher's rise to power is beginning to come into focus. But there are twisting threads in the seemingly-straightforward plot. The good guys aren't looking so good, and the bad guys...yow!

The chapters where BeauS describes the damage done by the heavenly visitors are ASTOUNDING. Worth two stars just by themselves. As was the frightening description of the plagues, especially the locusts. BeauS's plagues are realistic and persuasive -- you can just feel the suffering of humanity bringing the economy and politics to a standstill.

Some carping: BeauS spends too much time in character close-ups. He doesn't spend much time reflecting on what is happening outside the tight circle of his main characters. We don't hear how ordinary people are coping with the calamities. Since the reader would be part of that mass of people, it would help to see how "we" would fare during the Apocalypse.

Still, the way Christopher turns scripture on its head to explain the personalities of YHWH and Satan was gripping. Is Christopher diabolical or phenomenally naive? Will Decker buy into this batch of tripe? Is Chris really locked into the Cosmis Fantastic or is he becoming his antiself?

Book 3 promises to have more twists and turns than a bowl of dropped spaghetti, and I look forard to devouring very delectable strand!

Summary: Doesn't live up to the hype
Review: This is not a bad series, but I think perhaps I was going into it expecting too much. The reviews here have been so strong and so overwhelmingly positive that I was expecting a masterpiece. I didn't get it. The only two End Times novels I've ever read before this was Left Behind and We All Fall Down. This is certainly better than Left Behind (To be fair, I've only read the first one)but doesn't come anywhere near the quality of We all Fall Down. I baught all three books at one time and wished that I hadn't. This is a facinating premise, but that's all. There's no real exploration of Christian life and I certainly don't feel like I have a better understanding of my faith. This certainly didn't illuminate me or help me in that area. The characters are also fairly unengaging. Again, this is quite a bit better than Left Behind, but that's not really saying much. Perhaps if you read it with lowered expectations you will enjoy it more than I did.

Summary: Wickedly Magnificent!
Review: If you read Book I of the Christ Clone Trilogy, this second volume is a must. But it is going to give you a really creepy feeling. No one is who they seem, it appears, including the author. I don't want to give the plot away, but all will be explained in the third volume so you might as well go ahead and buy them both at the same time (if you've gotten to Volume 2 you're hooked anyway and why take a chance on not finding the 3rd volume later. I bought all 3 books at once based on the readers' reviews. So enjoy!

Summary: Will someone please make this into a movie!!!
Review: Now that I have read all three...this needs to be a movie!!!Someone buy the rights and I will be the first in line to get a ticket!! Imagine if this was made into a movie how many people could be reached.
Because of this book, I accepted Christ into my life. Thank you for writing this book Mr BeauSeigneur.
