Summary: The Energizer bunny's batteries are running out of juice
Review: ... much like LaHaye and Jenkins, who spend more and more time as the series goes along recounting past events and less time moving forward. One wonders if we will ever get to the end of the Tribulation at this rate.You know, if these were published in the standard paperback size, single spaced, and 10 pitch, they'd probably be less than 200 pages each. I guess that would cut too much into LaHaye's and Jenkins' profits. By the way, are they tithing?

Summary: Time to Give it a Rest
Review: I did rather enjoy the first 4 books in the series, but it is really starting to drag. 8 books and only 3 1/2 years into the Tribulation? When you consider the 40 million+ in book sales then it is easy to get the impression that they want to "milk this cash cow" for all it's worth. I don't plan to buy any more books, because I only have to read Revelation to know what will happen in the end (if they ever get around to it!)

Review: This book was very hard to put down. My friend ran bad parts because he did not pay attention to his job while reading this book. I think believers and non believers would love this book.

Summary: Oh, Come On... How Much More Nonsense Can We Take?
Review: If another one of these books invades the market, we all might as well go into our closets and pray! I'm surprised that the authors haven't yet come up with a legitimate Bible verse that defends their personal influence they are now employing on our would be "end-times" society... But, then again, how gullible of a society are we? It's really sad to think that the Christian community regards this... as "truth" disguised as fiction. I seriously would start praying for our Christian authors and our Christian publishing houses. The authors and publishers, who are probably millionaires by now, are certainly laughing all the way to the bank! Amen Brother!!!

Summary: Read with caution....
Review: I concur with a recent review of a reader who stressed the need for "discernment" when reading the "Left Behind" series. I initally picked up the first book because I thought it was religious science fiction .... which is exactly what it was...no clue this was a best selling series in the Christian community. There is an obvious bent toward the male-dominated, religious far right. The "dumb blond" sterotype portrayed in Hattie, and the way the issue of abortion was addressed...were actually laughable, but not in a comedic sense. While quick, mostly entertaining reading (read from a sci fi perspective), I fear there are many who read these books as "gospel" -- a bit scary to say the least!

Summary: Another GREAT series book
Review: I definitely recommend reading this book. It is a wonderfully imaginative book with flowing emotions and new developments that made me never want to set it down. Although there were a few parts of the book that were slower, they seemed a necessary increment of the whole picture to create a believable and a moving story. I have found that it takes a hard-core christian to appriciate all the aspects of this book. There are things that happen that will shock and delight you (if you have read all of the other books). I must admit that I cried a few times. It may not be their best work, but I consider it of extremely great writing. I can't wait for the next book, Desecration.

Summary: STARTED AT 10 AM, FINISHED LESS THAN 24 HOURS LATER
Review: I read and own all 8 books in the series as well as seen the movie. The number of pages I read from the series is about twice as much as the pages of all the books I read in my college years. It look less time to read these books as well. I would start one of the books when I start work and finish less than 24 hours later. That's amazing especially for a guy who hates to read. I find the last book to be my third favorite compared to the Assassins and Nicolae. I must say that the details of every action in the book makes The Mark and all the rest of the series just jump out. I anxiously await the next book, The Desecration to come out.

Summary: This series is losing its' steam
Review: I loved Left Behind and the next few books, but the last few have really started to stretch credulity. I can't see how these people have so many jets, helicopters, high-tech gadgets (so high tech that they have them, but the ruler of the world doesn't?)readily available to them. I have read all eight books in less than two months. I'm sure I will finish the series (12 books, I believe) as they come out, just to see how LaHaye and Jenkins interpret end-time prophecies. I do recommend that anyone who reads these practice discernment. While this may very well be how things play out, there are many valid opinions/interpretations within Christianity. These books may be fun (at least the first few were) and they may be interesting escapism, and HOPEFULLY they will give readers pause to examine their own relationships with Christ. However, they are NOT theology, and they are NOT the Bible. There is a real danger in reading these sort of books INSTEAD of the Bible. Read the Bible, learn to interpret scripture for yourself. Do not allow works of popular fiction to take the place of Bible study. These books are easy reads -enjoy them, but take the real challenge first.

Summary: Can't Wait for the next
Review: Sure there was alot of review in this and the previous ones but that is for the people who havent read the first 7 books, I just skim through the review parts and enjoy the story, which I believe is a enjoyable interpretation of the book of Revelations.

Review: I own and have read all eight books in The Left Behind Series. The Mark was truely the biggest waste of time and money I think I have ever made. All Filler.
