Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A well written theory. Review: What do Mithra, Hercules, Dionysus, Krishna and Horus have in common with Jesus Christ? Before you say nothing, you may want to take the time to read The Christ Conspiracy and find out.Follow along in this 400 plus page tale of the greatest name in Christianity as the author weaves throughout history to show that maybe, just maybe what we have been told is not completely accurate. You'll walk down the corridors of history and look into other religions and how some of their deities have the exact same stories and the man who is the center of the greatest story ever told. While I don't subscribe to most the theories laid out this book, I found myself looking at my own beliefs a little differently. This book is enlightening and the author is well documented. Overall a great read.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Why? Review: I'm a believer. A believer that no one should be allowed to review this book unless he or she has actually read it! Who shined light on darkness? In Christian lore, it was Lucifer. Or Satan. Better be kept in complete dark, I guess, like a quivering mass of jelly fearful of being sent to hell forever for questioning that the jottings of some Hebrews is God's word, and God's word only. But what about the jottings of Joseph Smith, or the jottings of Mary Baker Eddy, or the jottings of the individual who wrote Urantia, or Oahspe, or Aleister Crowley, or Muhummad, or Unarius, or Sai Baba, or thousands of prophets who claim to be a conduit to the Big Man Himself. No, there's only ONE. Acharya's book is composed of nothing except brilliant and thorough research. It's a dangerous book to many, and it elicits a bunch of ranting and slavering since it provides research/facts that contradict beautiful belief systems. Learn about all the pagan Gods who were crucified! Learn about the pagan days borrowed by Christianity to worship. Learn about all the contradictions that compose the Holy Book. Give History a chance!
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Boooooring Review: This book is writen by a dishonest historian. Another attempt by the nonbeliving spsudo-scholars to distroy others faith because they have none themselves. Try reading Stages of Faith By Dr Fowler. I hope this will be a balm to your soul and help you understand that once you loose your faith that it can be regained despite what what you have learned.

Review: Oh Please, if she could link Jesus Christ with the nose of toucan sam, you'd still praise her. Just Scratching more itching ears, actually her book is about to be reviewed to death, and exposed for what it is: Another ill-attempt to poison the well.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Parental Guidance Suggested Review: I've read about 25% of this book and the more I read, the harder it gets to put down. Today, with the easy access to scholarship, there is NO excuse for anyone seeking knowledge, truth & understanding to continue living the life of a Stepford wife.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The Most Dangerous Book Ever Sold! Review: OK, people, it's time we got off this born-in-dung, keep-my-lords-in-animal-skins attitude that religion has foisted on us; there's no better place to start than with this book. Even if only half of it is true, this book promises to blow the lid off of just about any organized religion you can think of, and everything I've checked out for myself is accurate. And now anthropologist Zeev Herzog has come out to to verify the book's premise (albeit from a different starting point): The Bible is a myth, with little or no historical accuracy, and all the fables can be gleaned from older and better sources. Extensively footnoted, with a large bibliography, and just enough ascerbic wit to lighten the load, this is definitely the most dangerous book ever sold! Thank you, Acharya S.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: A tired and overworked premise. Review: In spite of all the grandiose hype, there is nothing new to be discovered here. The author has merely repeated the research of other authors, who have said it better and said it first. Perhaps some original research on her part would have improved the book. As it stands, it is every bit as exciting as summer re-runs of tired soap operas.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Do yourslf a favor and BUY THIS BOOK!!! Review: I have been a researcher of truth in all different catagories including religion. I have many books and articles that back up all of the information presented in this book. In fact, this book has it all in one package. One had better have a bible next to them while reading Christ Con. to compare side by side and see what a big con has been done to humandkind. Acharya has done well putting this together. There is lots of research and references in the book along with some very revealing pictures and diagrams. You will find out that the Bible is one of the worst and most corrupt books one can have in their home. There are many references in this book that reveal that the Christ story was recorded many times, with different charactors, many years before the supposed life of Jesus. One right after another! How could we have been so misled as a society? I smell a conspiracy! Do yourself a favor and buy this book! Read it and buy some more to share with others.I know of no better gift to free ones soul from religious bondage.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: It sheds light upon the darkness called Chrisitanity. Review: Religions continue to exist because fear and superstition havebeen force fed to the masses in order to perpetuate the notion thatone is superior to another- and that is nothing but vanity. Vanity and its cousin ego have been around a long time, no thanks to all the evangelists of Christianity! As George Black says, "religion kills like a disease." And one could go on to say that no religion has killed more than the Christian religion. No dark age has ever been lifted until the truth gets out, and Acharya S masterfully spells it out for us. I highly recommend this book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Astounding, extrememtly accurate documentation! Review: I am about half-way through reading "The Christ Conspiracy: the Greatest Story Ever Sold", again, for the second time. This book is very well written, and thoroughly documented, from a scholarly viewpoint. The author, Acharya S, truly reveals the "Facts" in an unbiased presentation. Since I am extremely interested in the history of religions, I have read many other books on this particular subject... of the Bible being a fraud... but I feel that this book is THE most complete, in putting all the evidence to support the theory together, in one over-all "nutshell", so to speak. While many readers of the faith, no doubt, will be offended at what the author has to say, there is no refuting proof! Acharya S surely proves, and documents, all the statements! I was both highly impressed and ecstatic to discover, upon reading the book, that she hadn't "softpeddled" or left out anything. I felt that the one, most important segment of the book, was the part on "The Original Fall/Sin", for indeed, if there was "no original sin or fall", then there is no need for a savior! And that is the "Crux" of all religions! This book is very comprehensive, enlightening and liberating, and no doubt will be an extremely invaluable contribution to the next generation in the 21st Century.
