"This shows that Genesis 6:9 does not speak of Noah's moral perfection, but tells us that he and his family alone had preserved their pedigree and kept it pure, in spite of the prevailing corruption brought about by the fallen angels." This is but one twisting of the words of the Bible, found in Mr. Bullingers Companion Bible, which is a favorite of the "Christian Identity Movement"; who beleive in racial separation. If one want to know the truth, one needs to aquire a Bible, without Bullingers notes.

Summary: A Bible for those who want Bible truth vs. denominationalism
Review: The Companion Bible is a must! More notes than KJV text on each page, for the most part. Transliterated Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic noted where their translation is interesting or important. Bullinger believes every jot and tittle of the Bible is inspired, so his apologetics and exegesis are based only on insights found elsewhere in the Bible. No interpretation or personal viewpoints, just the Bible explaining and illuminating the Bible. Worth more than all the other commentaries combined!

Review: I got a Bullinger Bible about 5 years ago and have already worn it out. I am getting ready to get a new one. It is by far the best Bible I have had. Many of the scriptures unfolded as I prayed and researched Bullingers notes. Great Bible.

Review: My advice to anyone beginning to study God's word should not take any one man's point of view as the gospel. Challenge what any pastor or book says with a strongs exhaustive concordance and a lot of prayer to not be decieved , and look it up for yourself. With God's help, we can all come to a better understanding of His letter to us. Let us not be ignorant of what God has to say to us! This bible has alot of great information not in most bibles today. Example: the acrostics and the importance of numbers in a spiritual sense. A man I really respect on teaching the word from the companion bible is Pastor Arnold Murray at sheperds chapel in Ark. You may be able to find him on your television. He uses this bible to do a word for word study,book by book study. I do not agree with everything,but the word has never flowed for me the way it does now. As i said before, do not take any one mans idea of the bible! Be brave enough to dig for yourself. The companion Bible is an awesome tool of study for anyone who wishes to fall in love with our Lord.

Review: EW Bullinger was an amazing man. Its difficult to fathom how he could do so much research in one lifetime. His work is still way ahead of his time. Much of his work is still being discovered. Want to learn, really learn how to research the bible? The Comapnion Bible is indispensible. I think I'd give you your money back myself if you bought it and were disappointed.

Summary: Dr. Bullinger is one of the finest Bible students ever.
Review: If you are at all considering purchasing a Companion Bible, get it now!!! This Bible stands as one of the greatest accomplishments in human history. I consider myself an avid Bible student, which is what so amazes me about Bullinger's work. That one man's life could do so much in bringing a depth of understanding into the inherent accuracy of the Word of God for so many people is beyond my comprehension. He was and continues to be a living example of II Tim. 2:15, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth." I pray that you will make this book a vital part of your home-study library. You will be so thankful that you did.

Summary: It's the Best Bible in the World !- For Beginners and Mature
Review: I've owned a Companion Bible for over 18 years, and I cannot recommend a Bible more highly than this one. If you hunger for the Word and want to be filled with the knowlege of God's Word, then the KJV Companion Bible is the right source. It is filled with appendixes which help you with many topical and root word studies from the Hebrew and Greek. It also contains many easy to understand outlines that are most helpful in understanding the Word of God.

Review: The COMPANION BIBLE is the finest study Bible you will find. It is virtually free of "opinions". Rather, the marginal notes, structural breakdown and subject/object clarity brings the Word alive with new meaning. Read and re-read the Introduction so you understand how to use the COMPANION BIBLE to it's fullest extent. Bullinger was the only person C.D. Ginsberg allowed to review the Massoretic footnotes. A word of wisdom is sufficient. Buy the Genuine leather edition with thumb index for lasting study in the Word of God.
