So I then tested other pages and the same thing occured, So I rate the print of this bible very poor #10. otherwise it's a great bible . I don't know if I can return this bible or not, but I am sure going to try.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Understand The Bible the way the writers intended. Review: The Companion Bible allows the reader to truly understand the true meaning intended. i.e. The commandment "Thou Shalt Not Kill" is interpeted wrongly and is not accurate. Murderers and rapists were commanded by God to be put to death. The commandment is supposed to read, "Thou shalt not murder". Too many words were translated wrongly by man and important lessons have been lost in translation. For example, try to find "the apple" in Genesis that Eve supposedly ate. There is no apple mentioned because she did not eat one. She was "wholly seduced" by the serpent... This is one of the ways Satan sought to destroy the geneology of Christ and there-fore prevent his earthly coming in to being. The appendixes are an excellent study guide and will help the serious Bible student discover God's true laws and how to prevent oneself from being deceived by The Antichrist when he appears on earth. Without this knowledge one is in danger of losing his soul...

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Best Study Bible, ever, Hands Down! Review: This is without doubt the best study Bible I have ever run across, and no doubt, ever will. I've read many Bibles, but none even comes close to the insight, and understanding on the Scriptures that E.W. Bullinger places within this Bible. It includes a outline system, which is one of the best proofs for inspiration I've ever seen. A study in the lining of Scripture is extremley advised. ¶ Besides that, this Bible offers great insights into many, many, suposed problems of the Bible; as a renouned authroity on both Hebrew, and Greek, Bullinger suggests transations of various passages which make the Bible's precise message much clearer; Bullinger provides 198 appendixes, which delve into various subjects, e.g., biblical numerology, astronomy, etc. ¶ I can't say enough to describe it, buy this book! You will never regret it.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: The Companion Bible Review: Note that there are irregularities between the (alleged) notes of EW Bullinger in this Bible, and those positively known to be his work in such books of his as "Figures of Speech Used in the Bible". He was working on the Companion Bible up through his death in 1913. For a while the fate of the project was in question, but thereafter over a course of eight years was finished by others by the year 1921. It was then printed as one whole volume in 1922. (see the chapter about the Companion Bible in the biography of EW Bullinger by Juanita Carey) Example: In his book; Figures of Speech, the "three days and three nights" of Mt 12:40 is explained as a Hebrew idiom which may involve any parts of three days and nights. In the Companion Bible it is NOT an idiom, but three literal days and nights. In Figures of speech Jesus was crucified on our Friday (day one), in the grave, and arose on the third day, being the first day of the week (our Sunday). In the Companion Bible Jesus was crucified on Wednesday evening, in the grave three whole days and nights, and arose at the end of the Sabbath which is the same as the beginning of the first day of the week. Each of these contradictions in the Companion Bible go against his training in the Hebrew language, and against his own rule for determining when something is a figure of speech. Basically the rule is that if a literal understanding of something contradicts other known facts, or revelation, then it must be concluded to be a figure of speech. He points out known facts that Jesus was crucified the day before the Sabbath, and arose the day after the Sabbath, which by His disciples was referred to as "The third day", which is the day upon which He said He would arise. There are other examples aside from these that would prevent me from accepting that all of the Companion Bible notes are his own work, but the real clincher can be seen in his notes at Esther 4:16, 1Sam 30:12-13 and 2Sam 1:1-2. This is his unaltered work, having been published before his death. The editors who finished and published this Bible in 1922 forgot to alter his notes there. Look them up and compare them to appendix 144, Jonah 1:17 and Mt 12:40, and you will see. (if that is important to anyone)
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: THE BEST STUDY BIBLE BY FAR. Review: This Bible is hands down the best study Bible and, Christian's that take the word of GOD serious should not be without it. I have sevral other study Bibles (from Max Lucado to Rev.Scofield) that simply just do not stand up to this great work. Bullinger is in my honest opinion was the greatest Christian scholar ever. He was the only Christian schoar that Ginsberg allowed to proof read the Massorah. That in itself should mean a great deal to you. In other words he can transfer a thouht from the Massorah to you without changing a single word. He used his GOD given gifts fantasticly and this is a work from it.Highly recommended.Your Friend and Brother in Christ Jesus

My only complaint is it supports the rapture but it is still the best study Bible you can buy.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This will become the only Bible you will want or use! Review: I have owned a Companion Bible for close to 5 years. I have forgotten how many different Bibles I have. This one is the best & it is better than any other I have, including Schofield's.The companion column notes & outline structures can get overwhelming & distracting. I have found this method works well: 1) decide upon a passage to read, 2) read the outline structure for the passage, 3) read the selected passage through disregarding the companion column notes; which are definitely plentiful, 4) reread your selected passage & read the notes as you go through it this time. Otherwise, beginners & those not well acquainted with the Bible could easily become inundated with information. Hang in there & you will find that the Companion Bible will become your favorite Bible. Also, be sure to read the Introduction before reading your first verse. It is IMPORTANT!! I did not & later had to. I do not believe exactly as Bullinger, but he is better than Scholfield, in my opinion. Remember: all men make mistakes & Bullinger was only a man. Also remember: there is not a "perfect" Bible on the planet that is completely error-free in translation nor has completely error-free notes, both of which are done by men. Otherwise there would not be such a variety of "versions/translations" on the market. Believe me when I say that there are alot worse out there. Some are just down right trash. Stay in the Word & follow the Holy Spirit's guidance. You will learn alot & pick out Bullinger's errors. A Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, Green's Interlinear, & Smith's Bible Dictionary are also valuable tools to acquire to help you with your Bible study.
